Eva Garvey: . Your facilities are amazing. Thank you again for having me!
Sam Coffey: LET'S GO!!
Azum Beg: Fantastic gym and very welcoming to beginners! They always push you to go further/harder, regardless of your starting point, and there's a bunch of opportunities for 1-on-1 attention. It's been a great way to start my mornings.
Pamela Vong: Great instructors and experience in all the beginner boxing classes. Highly recommend trying it out if you're curious since they have deals for beginners.
Tommy Hoang: Came for the workouts; stayed for the community.I felt the pandemic isolation from going to a gym and lifting weights alone, so I joined 3rd St to switch it up and learn something new alongside other humans. Thought the price was steep initially but I'm getting so much out of it 5 months in!I hit the morning classes every day and the instructors have all been incredible: super friendly and they really take their time to give newbies feedback. The other members are equally as nice and approachable.Hope to see you in the a.m.!
Alex Marrs: Went here on a Sunday morning for the beginner boxing class. Gym is clean, plenty of mat space, plenty of open bags. The staff and trainers are knowledgeable, approachable, and enthusiastic. There is a ring for those who work their way up to step inside.
Moe Comstock: Thanks Paul! Great workout and giving me a home @3rd Street boxing gym!! All of the staff is all first class! Love this place and look forward to continue to learn the sweet science 🥊
Siyu Chen: A wonderful boxing gym!!! The teacher here is pretty nice!!! Very enjoy the time spent there!
Felix Gutierrez: Got to meet most coaches they are great! The only hiccups is the parking situation and or the music being a bit to loud at times making me stop and haveing to ask what the next combo is.All and all still a great experience and workout and it's been having a great impact on my lifestyle!I rated this 5 but it's more a 4.5 due to this, but again quite literally one of the best boxing gyms in SF Israel and Paul are great guys and WILL TEACH YOU how to BOX and not just for the workout!
Issac Shan: , I couldn't make my schedule work anymore.I highly recommend people to try their Beginner Package to see if you like it. Get into their "Bootcamp" to give yourself a healthy habit boost!!!
Anugrah Vijay: Amazing spot. Inspiring instructors
Justin Lieberman: I go there every day
Chunyan Song: I greatly enjoyed Israel's classes. He's super nice and has a way to explain things for beginners to easily understand. I love the vibe of this gym. The community is very warm and friendly.
Alizée Jenck: I’ve been coming here over a year now and it’s my favorite gym I’ve been a part of in SF. The trainers are amazing, the workouts push you, and it really feels like a community.
Paul Axelrod: I highly recommend the 3rd St Gym for first time boxers. Israel is a great teacher. He is easy to understand for people without any boxing experience and gives a solid foundation for making progress. The staff have been really welcoming too, with a special shout out to James. This is a place that I look forward to coming to for a great workout.

Kwame Lovell: They were attentive to your progress and pushed you when you needed it. I enjoyed every minute of it. The gym culture is friendly and inviting but still puts you to work! I definitely felt the difference in my cardio, conditioning and technique by the end. If you're on the fence I would highly recommend it! It's and excellent experience.
Amin Rasooli: Amazing classes!
Qi Wen Emily Ma: I LOVE this gym. I’ve been a HITFIT member for almost three years now, and the community I’ve built is far beyond what I can describe with words. There are two locations, one in the Mission and one in Nob Hill. Both are amazing and I love both equally. The instructors, the quality of the classes, and the environment are what keeps me coming back. Even on bad days, my mood is lifted after taking a class. Rebecca, the wonderful human that works the front desk, makes my day EVERYDAY. She is AMAZING and makes me feel soooo welcomed. The relationships you get to build with the instructors are also incredible. They know you by name, they are so engaging, they correct your form, and they only want to help you become a better version of yourself!
Rahul Rajeev: HitFit has been my favorite gym in SF. They offer intense HIIT and boxing workouts, month long bootcamps for some serious conditioning. For anyone looking to level up their boxing technique, Leo's classes are a must. I would also jump at every chance to work out with Angela, Cole or Simon! The gym has been modified to ensure social distancing and frequent cleaning for safe workouts during the pandemic.
Keerthana Kumar (KK): Great classes
Chris Yataco: Nia is an amazing trainer because her personality and her workouts. She will definitely get you shape “Hella” fast. I love her playlist and I like how she incorporates holidays into her workout classes. If you haven’t taken her class yet, what are you waiting on? Take her!!
Evanny Huang: Angela is the best! Circuit training with her has really transformed my endurance and strength compared to when I first started. You can always count on Angela for great vibes, form correction, and encouragement. Check out her HIIT and boxing classes!
Patricia Redelius: This has been the most motivational class I have ever experienced. Nia is always on point with her energy levels and makes you want to go through the extra mile and makes every sweat worth it. I love her classes and would highly recommend them to ANYONE 💖💖
Emily Kerr: I come here for Nia. That girl knows how to work you in all the best ways. Wow, great class.
Shellie Kitchen: ! Always keeping me on my toes! The classes are tough as nails! From the HIIT to the boxing classes, it’s the bomba!! Nia and Angela are wicked wicked wicked fierce! Beasts!!! The rest of the instructors are all so 🔥 ! The only downer...Sign up early because the classes get booked fast! Fact!
Laurence Real: Amazing class with Nia Fregoso! I love her passion, high energy and the dedication she puts in her class! Definitely highly recommend Nia! One of the best instructor in SF! @niafitmitts you go gurl! 🙌🏼🙌🏼
Aaron Tarver: Great gym - I've taken several classes with the trainer Nia and she is the best! Her classes are a lot of fun and work you in the best way possible. Be ready to be sore!
Marcella JS: I love Nia’s morning quickie. I am always scared to go back and feel so good afterward lol! Her energy, circuits, and music make it go by fast. We need more trainers like her in the city!
Leslie Lai: I've been going to HitFit for several years now, and Nia's Morning Quickie class has consistently been the most challenging and fun workout in my routine. Her energy is contagious and no two workouts have been the same. Almost every other fitness class I go to has gotten easier over the years, but Nia's class somehow still kicks my butt every time, in the best way.

Kimberly Chan: I enjoyed the programming and instructor — Rich had us throwing a great long boxing combo. Have some gripes with the studio itself though:— Rental gloves have no wrist support. I have never used gloves without interlocking wrist straps and splinted support until Rumble’s rentals. They are also old as the foam has worn down and do not provide much knuckle protection. The combination of the poor alignment and protection skinned my knuckles throughout class. If you try the class, I recommend bringing your own gloves. I hope they get fresh new ones with better fit and support.— The bags are all the same height and can’t be adjusted. I’m tall and found that the bag isn’t aligned with my height, making hooks and cuts feel so awkward…— As for the floor set-up, I love that the benches have various weights but they only go up to 20. I wish the studio offered weights 25 and above for advanced lifters.Overall, the studio is clean and spacious but needs some tweaks to improve client experience.
Carina Nadine: Love the studio, the setting and the energy!! Israel is such a great and motivating trainer!
Victoria Ang: Facilities are clean, trainers will make your class worth it and they are super considerate!
JRay Eats: Omgah class was so fun! Folx at the front Liz and Bernie checked me asked me if I needed any water, gloves or wraps. They were very helpful and friendly in my visit.I loved the shower with all the amenities! The shampoo, body soap, conditioner Omgah all from dry bar enhanced my experience. Leaving me smelling hella good after a great sweat session with Lielen de Guzman! She was really energetic and I loved it when she called on my name. Hahah, made me push even harder! Loved the reinforcement.Back to back combos and then switching to some strength training. Such a great cardio workout. And I got to meet Rich who taught the class before this and also took Lielen's class. He was pretty cool too and I look forward to taking his class next time! The energy and everyone the room was amazing.I look forward to coming back and highly recommend others to experience the vip treatment I received!Thank you Rumble!
Hedan Liu: Does anyone know if they are still open? Sounds like their phone number is not working
Joshua Marcy: I love these high intensity classes. The booking process is easy and straight forward, allowing you to choose if you want to be up front or hide in the back. Plus it gives you the ability to coordinate with other people and group yourselves together ahead of time. The facility is super clean with free lockers and showers. I highly recommend this gym and these workouts.
Ji Young Yoon: Absolutely my favorite place to workout!!! Perfect combination of boxing and fitness! Personally I really like Jon V and Laura’s classes!
Athena Chang: I was invited by my coworker to join her at an after work workout. I was knocked out. Well almost. The class was super intense and the instructor made you feel like you were in a ring fighting numerous opponents. I did have some kickboxing experience and just love punching, in general. Rumble was a perfect class for us as we both went through some challenges that day and punching a bag was the best thing that day!The class feels like a Barry's Bootcamp with punches. You barely have a minute to catch your breath and it is fast paced. I was drenched in my sweat afterwards. The studio itself is pretty new and clean. It is also huge, which is rare in SF. I will be back for more Rumble!
Henrietta Haizel: amazing fun filled and energetic class. Keisha is amazing ! great music. you won't regret it.
Sara Silberstang: Fun class for a good workout - simple boxing and weights for a a full body workout. I teach yoga so this was a fun change of pace! Julia is a great instructor.
Sounita Hanthaley: So fun! The music and the energy and the lights make the work out a great one.
Gil Feig: Loud music, flashing lights, and rythmic boxing make this 45 minute workout class an absolute blast. It is truly open to all skill levels, and amenities include towel service, locker rooms, and showers with Drybar products.Your first time you’ll need to buy wraps for $8 if you don’t happen to have them lying around, and glove rentals are an additional $3 per class.Overall, I highly recommend checking out Rumble, especially if you enjoy classes like Barry’s Bootcamp, Orangetheory, cycling, etc.
Melanie Saldana: First, I would have followed Alvin to hell if I had to. Luckily, Alvin didn't make me do that. When I heard he would come back to SF to help open the first Rumble studio, I signed up without a second thought. The workout is amazing. It gives me a break from all the running I do without forcing me to compromise on my cardio. I'm not a great runner and truth is, my joints are getting a little old :( It's FUN, from beginning to end, and not once do I feel the internal urge to roll my eyes. Also, I'm really big on authenticity and good energy. Some people don't care about those things in a workout, but for me it's a deal breaker. If I don't think an instructor genuinely cares about the people he/she instructs or has a passion for what they do, I do not invest my time or money. Lucky for me, a lot of those good vibe people are now at Rumble and it.is.addicting.The one drawback is the equipment. You need gloves / wraps and so far I've rented mine from Rumble each class. I have a hard time putting the gloves on during transitions and resort to using my mouth, like a savage, on the rental. So gross. I'll need to buy my own really soon.
