Monica Rangel: Good place to have a drink after the game!Recommended dishes Something with Vodka …

Cynthia Colas: I love the decorations at this bar so I would describe this venue as a 10/10. The venue is super decked out in a tech/alchemist type of vibe. Almost like the type of thing you would come across watching Full Metal Alchemist. The drinks are also amazing and the appetizers are great as well.

Brittany Romick: Cute little cocktail bar. Service was a little bit slow for the bigger groups, but overall good 1st experience.

Joshua Foltz: Very cool spot, steam punk theme and great, unique, cocktails🍸 🍸

The boat in the middle of water with a live band was ethereal; I was literally blown away with the choice of songs and the rendition of these songs. Isabelle Anderson: Just go.Updated review: Trick Dog is my Roman Empire… I think about my experience here every. single. day. Between the perfectly balanced cocktails, the inviting atmosphere and the incredible service from Tone and Billy Bones I really have a hard time finding anything else that compares.

Alison Enthoven: options for food, but it's good quality. Even the salad is quite good.

Katarina Stein: Cool little bar next to the Penny Roma. Tasty tropical drinks. I tried the Rising Sun and thought the strawberry taste was unique. My friend ordered the POG drink but that really didn’t have much taste at all in my opinion, but it was very pretty with the flower.

Bro Mo: . she looked it up and it came out in these large, heavy ceramic tiki cups... INSANE good, like she had always known how to make one. Anyway, earns a special place in my heart after that.

Jack Tuggle: I liked the environment. Cute bar. Was accommodating for our group. Drinks were good while I would have loved something more alcohol forward so I ordered an old fashion. Tho I liked the drink menu.I also liked the food it looked good and tasted good. The fries were on point. The hot dog was overpriced but still tasted good

kyle azua: Note that this place is currently open only for private events now. Amazing staff and drinks, but unfortunately not open for walk ins.

mary jo nightingale: Great atmosphere. The food was delicious. Drinks are great too. The Bartender and a patron did us a great favor while we were leaving, thanks, guys! I recommend this place!

Jenny Willden: Great cocktails and experience!

Marsha 909: This is a fantastic bar! Especially if you love gin and England. It's based off of a traditional tube stop in Whitechapel. The back bar is full of exquisite unique and beautiful gins. A fantastic cocktail list. And bartenders who can guide you through the different flavor profiles to make sure you get exactly what you want.

Patrick Dunn: Heard White Chapel was closing. Sad to see another local legend shutting down.Best of luck to the owners on whatever is next.Thank you for great service!

Jeremy Cole: Great ambience, drinks, and food. It has a pool table. The phone ordering system works super well.

Jason Scott: Another lovely bar from the creator of smugglers cove. It's a very different look and feel from his others, I'm a fan!

Chase Evans: Seems like a friendly atmosphere to try some various beers and food. Just don't come here if you don't intend to drink. I went to get a bite to eat with some buddies after a late night of drinking, so we weren't really feeling like drinking that night. Waitress made a comment about us being the first non-alcohol order all night which then led to the rest of that interaction being a bit weird. They have their own house soda which comes in 3 flavors. I respect some good house-made sodas but they weren't for me. After the interaction with the waitress, we just felt awkward for being there as we didn't see that waitress again that night. We were helped by the guy who delivered our food for the rest of the night. The food was good though, no complaints there.I'm sure if you are intending to drink, you'll fit right in. Maybe it was just an off night for them.

Nele Van den Broeck: The setting of this bar is great. We initially passed it by accident and it is not exactly in the nicest neighborhood, but once inside you don't notice anything from the outside of course. There is an incredible amount of choice on tap, so I recommend using the Untapped app, where they also regularly update their menu. This gives you an easier overview of their beer offering. The food was also great, I had the burger with fries and it was delicious. If you are a beer lover, you should definitely pop in here!

Kevin Chang: This is the bar with the most similar operation except the main branch in Copenhagen, and the staff is very friendly. You must try the signature geek shake coffee beer!!

Dawn Miller: Great atmosphere

Marcus Lee: Mikkeller was recommended by my Danish friends, it is a Danish brand, hence the Danish cartoon and industrial decorations. Always good beers, I love sour beers, so this is my happy place. Burgers and fries are always good with beer drinking. Prices are fair. The location is so central, that makes Mikkeller a good place for after work drink, quick bite when visiting from out of town, or friends get-together, as they have some large tables to commentate. I go to Mikkeller whenever I feel like it, and I feel like it a lot.

Brandon Ozard: Lot's of tasty beer 😀Service was good.Food was okay.

Sarah Barton: For anyone who has similar questions as I did:- you can do just drinks, don’t need to order food- for drinks, you can do a tasting, a flight, OR a la carte cocktails. Also a wine list

Mike Julian: So happy to see this popup become a permanent installment. Small cozy balcony overlooking ABV and we got the best table. Overproof is decidedly different than ABV with completely separate drink and food menu. This place is reservation only and has a really amazing selection of rare liquors that they use to make some truly interesting and amazing cocktails. Loved the tasting flight and their take on a Tequila Old Fashioned was inspired. Expensive, but worth it for a fancy date night. Would definitely come back

Alexander Kanov: Competent cocktails, especially for San Francisco standards, but definitely on the pricy side. Food is good but selection is limited.Overall, one of the better cocktail bars in the city, but not the best.

Kar Wing Ho: This is a cocktail lounge. They are located upstairs inside ABV. Their menu is preset and changes every 3 months with a focus on a spirit. It's a series of four. I attended their last 2 offerings: gin/sherry and mezcal/tequila. After this offering which is ending in Feb, they will have a new concept.

Ethos Logos: Ryan was our main server and was a great host during the tasting. Took a bunch of time to talk to us about what we were eating but also very cool places to go in Mexico

David Comstock: Amazing experience

Nicolas Soldi: Great food + drinks pairings. Creative cocktails and friendly staff.

Neesh Shah: Last stop during our night out and it was the perfect end-point. Super chill vibes, dimly lit but also packed in a good way. The bartender was hilarious and totally went along with us asking for a single shot that is good, but also strong but also different but also 10 other things. All in all, we'll be back!

Faraz: Quiet still lively place. Great drinks.

Mackie Bella: Excellent service and great drinks

Jane Zimmerman: I love hidden-away neighborhood gems like this. Plus, no TV makes for a great vibe.

Shelayne Mathieu: great vibe and music

Teresa: A classic. Solid drinks and bites.

Nero&Seneca Maidenlane: 15 Romolo cocktail bar was the perfect place for Nero and Seneca to unwind after a long day of adventures. The pimm’s cocktail was a refreshing treat and Gabriel, the bartender, was fantastic. He not only mixed amazing drinks but also made us feel welcome and at ease. The bar is known for its cool drinks and cool vibes, and it lived up to its reputation for great cocktails.Nero and Seneca were the stars of our visit, but it's important to note that they didn't consume any alcohol or food that wasn't doggy approved.Disclaimer: No dogs were harmed or given any alcohol or non-dog-friendly food during our visit.Overall, 15 Romolo is highly recommended for anyone looking for amazing drinks, great conversation, and a relaxed atmosphere. Gabriel, the bartender, was truly exceptional and made our visit unforgettable. Don't miss the opportunity to experience this gem for yourself!

Raghav Srivastava: Decent bar, good for a larger group. Can be loud and crowded but less grungy than other north beach watering holes

Edward “Eddie” Harper: Thier cocktail selection is great. They have a buttered whiskey that is absolutely fantastic. It's probably for the winter but I am definitely doing this next year for the holidays. The ambiance is dimly lit and nice. This is absolutely one of the best bars in the city. Getting here may feel strange but in the end it is most definitely worth it.

Katie McCulloch: and lead bartender

klarese donnelly: Great spot. The bartenders and regulars are always nice, it's never terribly packed without being totally empty, they bring in vendors to do free tastings of liquors, allow dogs and outside food, and it's got a cool almost saloon-like vibe to it. They have a decent selection of beers and of cocktails. I'd specifically recommend their old fashioned because they do them well.

Nicholas Pun: and it was interesting. The information was a bit all over the place, but what a great opportunity to taste test different whiskeys against each other. The bartender was also super knowledgeable and readily answered our questions.Would recommend if you want to get into whiskey, I had a great time!

Nikhil Kundra: But our friend Mark who lived in the area took us to this gem in his neighborhood, and it was there I got a chance to see just how incredible the whiskey selection was at this place. After doing a few rounds, the OWNER of the bar came around to check in on us... but he didn't just ask how we were doing as a courtesy; he actually cared about where we were visiting from, what we had done, and if we had been to XYZ place + offered recs and even help making reservations by calling different bar/restaurant owners to help make our already-incredible trip even better. He spent a good 10-15 min with us, educated us on different spirits and mixers we were curious about behind the bar—and then before we left, bought us a round to drink and enjoy one of those spirits we had inquired about with him.True hospitality. From the owner to the manager to the bartenders and other staff.Year later, a different friend of mine and I were visiting—so I recommended we check out Elixir. Upon entering, my friend asked if I had ever tried Pappy since he noticed Elixir had the full lineup. Neither my friend and I had, so we marveled at the idea and then pulled the trigger. 🥃 🥃To my surprise—and I know Pappy is rare, let alone expensive—but when the flight came, the owner and staff recognized me from many years prior, asked how I was, recalled I was last there for that conference, how the rest of it was, and even offered us some incredible stories and education about the history of Pappy as we sipped each year.My friend and I stayed a lot longer than we had anticipated and the owner and manager even offered us a personalized tasting of rare Wild Turkey bourbons they had in stock if we wanted to come back before we flew home and see how we liked them, especially to compare to the Pappy flight.Safe to say, we came back and had a wonderful time exploring

Josh Gelfand: Just the perfect bar. Want as fine a craft cocktail that the city can provide? It's here. Want to see one of the best whiskey selections anywhere in the country? It's here. Want a chill but lively neighborhood bar where you can get a fairly priced shot and beer? It's here.Go to Elixir.

algothal: A wonderful bar offering a variety of drinks and special cocktails. We let the barkeeper choose our drink which is always fun to see the creativity flow. I have never been disappointed. On the contrary I was always delighted. We also went for some delicious Kaviar and oysters. Fresh and breathtaking!

Tim Heath, DC: We walked in without a reservation and no expectations. What a delightful surprise. The service was superb, from the Host to the bar tender to our server. The food was delicious and came out quickly. To our surprise they had a gluten free empanada. Also the architecture and decor will delight. We highly recommend going on for a drink, a meal, live music and looking around.

Sean Truong: The crabs cakes benny were good. The crab cakes actually taste like real crab. Eggs were cooked just right. The potatoes were crispy without being burnt. I could have used more greens though. We also for the double pitcher of mimosa, which was a good deal.

Priyanka Sayinath: Possibly one of the best jazz clubs in bay area! Great music, loved the New York jazz club deco and of course the drinks, they have some interesting lavender based cocktails!! Highly, highly recommend this place for all those jazz lovers!!Also, the street has some lovely stores. So do try to get there a few minutes before the show starts, to stroll around Haight street. Can grab a bite or two at bizza!

Ben Chute: My favorite bar / venue in the entire city. There's always amazing music, the drinks are great, the vibes are great, and the staff are really passionate about what they do. 11/10, 100% recommended. Check it out and support local musicians and business!

Silvana Lopez: Love Club Deluxe! Just wondering when it'll reopen. I keep checking the calendar and calling, but no response.

Michael Dvorkin: A great place for a cocktail, a glass of wine and a fantastic meal. The menu is amazing. The food is delicious. Even the simplest dishes are executed to perfection tion with a special twist. Love this place

Swaila Rasoully: My husband and I are visiting from Upstate NY and this restaurant was recommended by my cousin who lives here. The ambiance was chic and romantic, the food was delicious, and the service was great! Our waiter was helpful and answered any questions we had. It was my first time having French food and escargot, I enjoyed it very much! We had a lovely evening.

Morgan Jane: because I think the quality of service has slipped. We recently went there for my birthday with a couple friends and we ordered a bottle of champagne. The server brought the bottle, had us look at it, then opened it and poured everyone a small glass, but the champagne wasn't cold. It put me in the awkward position of letting them know it wasn't cold and asking for an ice bucket with a lot of ice so we could chill it. I'm not a fancy snob, but at a nicer restaurant like Absinthe I feel like if you order a $100 bottle of champagne it should at least be served cold; the server should have realized when they touched it that it wasn't cold. It was a bummer because we had to wait a long time for the bottle to get cold enough to drink, so all four of us sat there during apps without drinks which is no fun. A few of us ordered cocktails. Eventually we got impatient so we ended up drinking it while it was still kind of warm. This felt to me like a sign that they don't care as much about the customer experience as they used to. I'll go back of course, but I'm going to wait a while as this left a bad taste in my mouth

Ibukun Adeleke: Cool and had heaters

Samaat99: . Great comfort food and cocktails at cozy tables with fire pits and super nice staff! Rooftop views vary depending on where you sit. Pricy but not out of the ordinary for a rooftop bar and restaurant. Would highly recommend.

Alicia DiGiammarino: Great views and fun to sit outside. The fire was blowing all over the place exploding heat in my face and over my hands. Food was decent. Dips were the best. Tacos were a bit bland. The frozen watermelon drink was good but sweet. It’s not in a great area of town but they have tight security to let people into the building.Parking: Take an Uber cause not in a nice area of townKid-friendliness: Not kid friendly

Sem Bartels: . Music was a tad loud where we were sitting, but I seem to be quite sensitive to that, so your mileage may vary. Service was super quick and kind; from the doormen till our waitress and everyone in between. 10/10 worth a visitVegetarian options: Lots of them and even a bunch of fully pant based/vegan options!

Lauro Rangel: I feel like a drunk little kid everytime I visit

Mark Kraman: + Clean, cool multi-level space+/- OK cocktail menu+/- Kind of lacking an elevated vibe later in the night, meaning a sparse dance floor even around 12-1am. I bet it's much better with a celebrity DJ.- A lot of games, but many are broken

Binx: They have great games and loved that I could play DDR, but the music is so loud you can't even hear the sounds from the games and you have to yell at someone from across the table. It's a nice space, it you all could turn the music down just a few decibels I feel more people would make it a staple place to go.Atmosphere: 4/5 …

Kane Miller: The games are cheap. Drinks cost about as much as any other bar. They always have movies playing with subtitles on. The staff is friendly. The arcade machine all worked and they have numbers to text if you have any issues.Wheelchair accessibility: You wouldn't be able to get to the upper floors with a wheel chair. But the first two floors have ramps. The place is also extremely busy so it might be hard to navigate.
