J. Francisco Karwash: I am an attorney in the bay area. I have been practicing for over 15 years and I have hired hundreds of contractors to help with my computer needs. Today I had a major problem trying to use my camera and microphone on a zoom meeting. I called 911 PC Help, and the owner answered the phone immediately. Despite sounding extremely busy, he took time out and assisted me in resolving the zoom meeting problem with my camera and my video. He was so qualified and skilled at resolving my computer issue, that he resolved it in a matter of minutes. Even though I was appreciative of his time and demanded that I pay for his services, he refused to accept any money from me, and did the service for free. It's refreshing to interact with people like the owner of 911 PC Help in such a stressful and anxious time. Thank you for having integrity, honesty, and kindness.
Mark Brennan: Called a few weeks back to help back up our computers and just do general maintenance. Had used them back in 2013 but forgot about them - in the meantime had hired other tech support guys and just didn't get a great deal from them. Finally, needed some work done, did a little research and found these guys again. Happy I did. Very helpful and considerate of time and budget. Won't upsell you.

An hour and a half later they called me up. They were done, and it turned out they didn't need to replace the top plate after all.They could've easily installed it and charged me full price and I never would've known. They saved me a little over $600!They definitely earned my continuing patronage.

And while I did have my Surface as a back-up, doing any real work on the miniaturized device is problematic at best. He charges fairly considering he is operating in expensive real estate in San Francisco, and all that entails, but there are cheaper computer service centers out there in the Bay area, if you're willing to travel outside the city. If you need a quick fix or have an emergency, he's your man.

Not only was he prompt and courteous but he also fixed them without any bugs and left them better than before. I was shopping around for price and reviews and decided to give SC a try since I live nearby. I would have paid a lot more somewhere else and probably not had the same service. The place isn't the visible from the street and you have to go through a maze until you get his spot. Well worth it though. Repaired: IBM Thinkpad R51, Lenovo X1, MSI Gaming.

I didnt ask him to but he cleaned the entire interior of my laptop when he had to open it up to change a screen. Great guy, great hospitality, and great work. Worth every Dollar.

Joseph Lerner: This guy knows what he's doing! My computer wouldn't turn on one night, but all the major computer stores had closed at about 6:00 pm. I called Grey Matter, and I was told that I could come that night to bring the computer in. He figured out that the motherboard had stopped working, and so he ordered a new one and installed it when it arrived a couple days later. The computer has been working perfectly ever since. And the price for all of this was very reasonable... cheaper than a big computer store. I'm definitely going to be coming back here if I have any other computer problems.

Rich will take time for you to demonstrate and describe the problem, or, he'll figure it out himself if you don't want to take the time to show him. Michael Warmington: . Thinking I had lost all my outlines and desperate, I arrived at Rich's door at 7:45pm on a Wednesday night. Long story short, he not only was able to recover my documents, but spent an hour with me to ensure everything worked. He also lent me an adaptor to take with me to fully extract all my data onto a new hard drive. He was helpful, understanding, and saved me in my time of need. If you have an emergency of any kind and are sick of getting treated like you're at the DMV, do not hesitate to contact Rich. He's also very affordable and will be my go-to for all future computer related emergencies.

Melinda Green: Low rates and Incredible work ethic. Rich gives your system better care than an obsessive techie gives to their own. He'll look for every opportunity to write-off or discount his own work. The only downside is that he's always very busy so be on time when you come in and be prepared for short waits and follow-up work as needed.

I was extremely pleased with the service, I stopped at the Genius Bar before going to The Total Max and was told it would be a $500 charge with a two week waiting period which I found ridiculous.
