Last night was definitely prom night at some school because there were loads of young people in tuxes and evening gowns doing photos. Its a great back drop for this! Its free to visit and only takes 15 or 20 minutes if you have a full schedule. You wont be sorry. It was also beautiful at night all lit up! Paid parking lot at the location but there may also be street parking on lagoon side.

Kathleen Pollard: One of the most beautiful parks in California. So many paths for walking, biking and roller skating, Japanese Gardens, De Young Museum, Academy of Science, rose garden and much more! Great place to bring your dog, too. Also, vendors selling pretzels , hot dogs, ice cream and drinks.
Lluis Higini Melero Peris: Modified._A few years ago we were in San Francisco taking advantage of a stay at a relative's house in the city. One of the places that could not be missed was Golden Gate Park. We visited the park on several occasions, lucky to be staying on Balboa Street. It has an extension of 5 kilometers long and 1 kilometer wide, doing it in one day seems like an impossible mission, which is why the park has minibuses that travel through it. At one end of the park, delimiting the beach, are the two windmills on each side. During the various visits to the park we discovered new beautiful and unique corners, such as the Japanese garden decorated with pagodas and bonsai trees, with the area where a herd of American buffalo is located, as well as museums, botanical gardens and sports areas. There are endless things in that park. I can only describe it as excellent. I took photos of almost every corner, and since this park offers a lot, it is appropriate to make individual reviews.
Jota Ce: , greeting the bison... If you travel from east to west you end up in the sea.
Salma Bakr: Amazing park by all measures. A slightly larger version of Central Park in NYC. Tons to see and do. You can easily spend a full day there on weekends or weekdays. My kids especially like the bison paddock and the California Academy of Sciences. And I love the De Young museum and the botanical garden.
Berrin Cantez: It's a wonderful park, just be careful of the grass after it rains, some areas can be deeper and muddy than they appear.
Mon Sin-A (Mon-Si-A): Great place to be at. There are paid parking and street parking. Prepare jacket as it get cold.
Athira Raj: Great park to walk and scenic. Food trucks and event
Maggy C: It is a large and beautiful park where there is a lot to explore and enjoy. Trails and meadows, Academy of Sciences, Botanical Garden, Japanese Garden, Plant Conservatory, courts, sports, Academy of Arts, food carts, everything makes an exceptional place to have a special day for adults and children.
Wayman Wong: Hellsman HallowDog-friendliness: On leashPicnic area: Fully used
J M: The grounds are huge. The Japanese tea garden is gorgeous and tended with love. The area where they have live music had no grass and was pretty bare
Matty B: San Francisco’s iconic city park is truly one of my favorite things about living in the city. It’s huge and fully of little, hidden treasures! I go walking here at least twice a week and I’m constantly finding new things.Public restrooms: Yes Picnic tables: Yes …

Juan Francisco Esteva Martinez: It is a nice, peaceful place to meditate and contemplate the beauty of mother nature.
Albert Wong: I like how the scenery transport you to Japan and make you feel like living in the past where bonsai trees surround the temples, shrines, and ponds. Their landscape is a great place for anyone that considered to play a honeymoon or romantic date, should visit this garden to enhance the sentimentality and bondage.
Dre Dre: It's beautiful
Lluis Higini Melero Peris: Expanded.- Taking advantage of our stay at a relative's house, one of the places to visit was Golden Gate Park, walking through it we arrived at the Japanese garden. This garden has something to say about it, it was originally built as part of an International Exposition in 1894, it is the oldest public Japanese garden in the US, a complex with many paths, ponds, pagodas, a Japanese tea house and a bridge. Truly a luxury to be able to walk through it firsthand, a very beautiful atmosphere, an experience that even today, seeing the photos I took many, makes me remember beautiful moments. I accompany 1 video.
Drew Siebert: This place was nice, but frankly a little underwhelming for the price. It is small and the area by the two main buildings was closed off for renovations.
Danielle Richards: Beautiful gardens. The one area with red structures was closed for construction/development while visiting.
Lu jim: A nice experience! For a while he is transported back in time to Japan to a beautiful small park, full of love for nature. The woodwork is very well detailed. The trees cared for with a lot of love and respect.Beautiful small lagoons with birds. There are local birds that harmoniously complete the beautiful garden. 💮🌸💮🍁🌳
Jota Ce: Beautiful Japanese garden. Zen atmosphere. Beautiful bonsai forest. During spring with the cherry blossoms it is spectacular. Monday, Wednesday and Friday, from 09:00 to 10:00 it is free.
Felix Gago: This is place is a gem..and if your a resident you pay nada for your entrance..but you already knew that

Danny Chan: Though it is a bit dated, staff is excellent.
Paul Valentine: All I can really tell you about this place I know from taking my kid to the tot gym once or twice a week. Firstst, Dave is awesome!Second, the facility is very easily accessible, and if you're in the area or using the park nearby, there's a bathroom there that's only a few steps away. It looks to be a great hub for neighborhood activity as well. But since I only take my kid to the little children's gym once or twice a week, not much else is on my radar. But other people should check it out!
John: Clean facility, clean bathrooms, and decent parking.
Rocky Johnson: Took family for wrestling great show. Taco truck outside.

Bob Luzolanu: One the best room I ever been! We rented this room our New Year Church service! We were able to have church in first part and we were able to have 400+ people in that room. We had a new year dancing time to celebrate the new year! The place has a bar area where we were able to serve water and soda! It also had a kitchen where we were able to cook food for over 400 people! There was a dance floor area and the wall decoration as you can see in those picture was very beautiful! I will recommend anyone to rent this place for any events

K L: Nice community center except for parking issues. There are gyms on the 1st and 2nd floors. Classrooms are on the 3rd floor. Library is on the 4th floor. Programs offered by the city are high quality, very inexpensive, and you often don't need to be a city resident to participate. Small parking lot behind the building is usually full and you may have to walk a while or feed the parking meter to park on the street. BART is nearby, but that is not useful for city residents trying to get here.
Andy Ku usa: It's recommended for family. They have volleyball, badminton, ping pong, and library. Check it out
John Susanto: , because it’s played in the Olympic Games.
D Gman: Good facility for many physical activities. Basketball, badminton, pickleball, etc... Some activities are fee based, others are free for older adults... promoting fitness.
F R: Beautiful buildingFriendly staff
Aisa Choi: Free to play badminton on weekdays. Staff are very nice and helpful.
6hours Basketball: Beautiful gym
Mike Allen: Quiet place to sit in the front courtyard...out of the wind
Jerry Ramirez: Better than the old one
