Make sure to wear very good hiking shoes with good traction as the trail can be slippery and muddy, especially after recent storms.
You'll see lots of small waterfalls along the hike, and the waterfalls are stunning. There are also plenty of photo ops and rest areas along the way.
There are restrooms available at the trailhead, including porta-potties and outhouses. You can also park your vehicle along the roadside, but be sure to follow the parking rules.
A complete loop on the assigned trails is approximately 6 miles, and it can take around 6 hours to complete, depending on your hiking pace. Be sure to bring water and snacks with you to stay energized throughout the hike.
