Zack Uhlenhuth: I didn't know I liked ramen until I went to Tsuta noodles. I typically get their Shoyu soba with an extra pork and some hot sauce. I'm also a big fan of their potstickers. I'm super bummed that they are closed during covid :(
Jeanne Lam: Shoyu ramen with egg and extra chashu $16
William Barrera: Unique if you like good food and want something different this is the place for you. Keep an opened mind, but the food was excellent.
Kazuki: Good ramen
Matt Lee: , excellent food
Mike Meikle: Delicious and quick. This ramen restaurant has some great options. When you are tired of spending $100 a person in San Francisco, this is the place for you. Very quick service and multiple ways to satisfy your ramen cravings. Highly Recommend.
roy vazquez: I dont know why people are hating on it, I liked it.
Aram Hovsepyan: Excellent food and good portion sizes
Doug Gordy: The atmosphere is cozy and quiet. The wait staff is attentive and friendly. The food was just like I was back in Japan. The sofa noodles were cooked properly, the broth perfect. Even the Yaki gyoza is amazing. I wish this place was back home. I would eat here every week.
Tim Mui: Was convenient to get a large table for a group. Soba is cooked very well and is delicious. Shoyu is my favorite. Found the tonkotsu broth lacking depth. Very thin but tasty chashu. Would suggest the Ajitama option for a filling meal while the regular would be a light meal.

S B: Enjoyed everything at Orenchi Beyond.Food: 5/5Recommended dishes Vegan Spicy Miso Ramen …
Jake Moffatt: After just visiting Japan for two weeks I needed to get my Japanese curry fix. Menya's pork katsu curry was sooooo filling! Great value for the money, and maybe even too much food. Also it was delicious, and scratched that itch from my trip to Japan. The decor in the place is also pretty close to what I saw on my visit to Japan. Plus the menu has a LOT of ramen options, including some very spicy ones, so I'll definitely be back soon to try them out.
R M: Still one of my go-to places for several reasons like you don't feel out of place if you go by yourself, their food is hitting the spot on a cold evening and you crave for noodles or in this case for ramen. The price to quality and quantity is well maintained and somehow the combo of their vegetarian dishes with a cold beer and some sake doesn't fail. Neither do the various ramen bowls. My local neighborhood joint , I recommend it.Features: Love this place still one of the best Ramen places in town. Same staff as from the former Orenchi but now they are the owners of Golden Ramen. I give it 5,stars and two thumbs up
Jessica Wu: Incredible. I stopped in late night friday bfor going out and just wanted something light. The people sitting outside raved abt the ramen so i decided to try it. Wow blown away and happily surprised. Authentic japanese owned restaurant with exceptionally friendly service. Cant wait to come back next time im in SF to try the rest of the menu!Vegetarian options: Vegan Shoyu Ramen
Hitomi Iwamoto: Came for lunch , pretty quiet .Ordered black garlic ramen , noodle is thick one but cooking well , I love this noodle texture , very good match with creamy rich soup base .Tender chashu is so delicious !I parked at garage under the Nijiya supermarket building , easy and safe , one hour $2.00
Andrew Kollen: My new favorite ramen spot! The black garlic ramen was rich and flavorful. Can’t wait to try the other broths!Dietary restrictions: They have gluten free noodles.
Sebastian Tavera: Being a lover or ramen and trying new foods, after looking up places online and their reviews, Wakaru was definitely a must try. The wait was not long at all for a table as I didn’t called ahead to make reservations. Order the kimchi cheese fries to start along w/ a Sukiyaki beef bowl the theRamen. I believe it was the tonkotsu ramen dx but can’t recall. All the food tasted delicious, fries were crispy. Next time I’m in town I’ll be coming back to try more food here. Can’t forget the bottle of Yuzu, sucks they don’t sell it back at my home town. Such a refreshing soda

Babs: Very tasty ramen soups. The restaurant is located in a mall.18% tip will be charged directly, take away dishes cost an extra $1.
Shell: Also, everyone who worked there was super nice and attentive P.S. I almost never leave reviews...
A지현 (Jiahn): This is a delicious ramen restaurant. However, I came in expecting it to be Japanese ramen, but my understanding of Japanese ramen seemed to be lacking. It was a combination of ramen I had never seen before, but it was delicious! The ramen was delicious - I ordered Spicy Tan Tan ramen. I was expected the taste like Japanese ramen, but it was not. I’ve never seen a ramen with spinach.. but the taste was good - just a little bit like Chinese style, not Japanese.
Wee Khim Lee: Had a early family lunch here after looking at other options on the 2nd floor of Japantown. Place filled up fairly quickly after we arrived and ordered. The menu is fairly extensive despite it being a ‘ramen house’. We had a combination of rice, ramen and appetizers - the food is uniformly good but not outstanding. The ramen broth is a little thin but the noodle texture is good. The croquette is actually pretty good. Service is pleasant and efficient. Good option when look for traditional Japanese fare in the crowded complex.
William Archer: If Umai Ramen house was in another place or city I imagine it would be a 5 star no problem. It’s just that it’s competing with some other truly amazing ramen in Japantown. However, it’s often impossible to get into my top ramen spots there at peak times and Umai rarely has a wait. The ramen is solid but not extraordinary and the side fried rice is the best deal around and very tasty.

Pranil Patel: . They can also provide a spicy paste on the side which pairs well with it. Guy who works Thursdays has great service.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free
Angela: When we arrived we were told to sign up on the waitlist… there was no one on it so we should’ve just gotten seated quickly.. When we sat down, we had to wait a while for someone to take our order. It was pretty busy so I understand that it would take some time. The customer service was ok, nothing special. They should prioritize customer service bc it wasn’t the best. The food arrived in a timely manner and the ramen was pretty good but I wish there was more noodles in it, it was less than other ramen places..

Marilyn Wong State Farm Agent: Was craving ramen and I only eat gluten free no meat so it’s hard to find! My usual place was too far so I stopped here. It’s always super busy so I don’t like to wait but this day I didn’t and it didn’t disappoint! Ramen, soup, veggies were amazing! Service was fast and they are very attentive even though it was busy! Will definitely come back to satisfy my cravings!Vegetarian options: Gluten free veggie option
Hu Mustache: Ordered Hakata Tonkotsu Ultra Spicy + Extra Bamboo ShootsNoodle: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Firm and Al Dente, right level of thicknessSoup: ⭐️⭐️⭐️Mediocre, and not spicy AT ALL. I understand that you will necessarily adjust spicy level to adapt to market. But it is the Ultra Spicy option and is not spicy AT ALL which makes me confused.Chashu: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Chewy and tenderIn general the taste is nothing special compared to other Ramen places. Mediocre taste, I gave 4 star due to the service is smooth.Service is quick and the servers were attentive.

Shivani Kaw: I know it’s not ideal to order in Ramen but I was craving it so bad. Vegetarian spicy ramen was indeed spicy and so flavorful. I’ll be sure to dine-in the next time.Recommendation for vegetarians Somewhat recommend Vegetarian offerings Clearly labeled vegetarian dishes …
Paul Ahola: Ramen dishes and Octopus appetizers were excellent, and rice dish with chicken curry was quite good. Server was very attentive, quick, and genuinely polite. Not a luxurious establishment, but the quality of food, preparation, and service at these prices will keep us coming back.Parking: We dined very late, so after the street parking fee limit.
Matt Trainer: Incredible ramen with lots of flavor and broth options, and the cuts of Chashu pork are thick and tender. Staff is incredibly friendly and can serve you as quick as you like. It has a medium-sized, simple dining area - nothing fancy - but certainly comfortable. Lunch specials are a great deal. We had the spicy tonkatsu ramen and mala ramen and loved them both. Also, this place has delicious bacon-wrapped mochi, which I ate too quickly to photograph…woopsParking: More available parking than an average street-parking area. Irving has a full lane of slanted meter parking for blocks
Lacie Underseth: Best ramen in the city! Loved the bacon wrapped mochi as well!
Magoo R: ...you can get a much more flavorful bowl for the same or a lower price from other ramen shops. The prices have gone up significantly over the past 2 years

Pierre-Cédric Crouch: I’m sad to see they are still temporarily closed. They have one of the best ramens in the city and I spent a year hitting up all the different ramen shops and their black garlic is in the top ramens I had. I’m wishing them well and hope they know how good they are.
Gerald S: Dine in: Yes Outdoor seating: No Takeout: Yes
Arunabha Mitra: Just what I needed on a rainy cold evening! It's a small restaurant but packs quite the punch. There's a lot of variety in the menu and a chill ambience. Service was quick and the ramen was steaming hot and delicious.
Mark Jochum: I got the black garlic ramen and the truffle oil edamame as an appetizer. I was very happy with my meal
Edmund Wong: A solid place for a decent bowl of ramen if you're in the mood. I first found this place back in late 2018 and am glad it's survived the current pandemic situation. The spicy miso doesn't seem to have changed along with the standard gyoza. The chicken karaage is also good, though I don't know if it's changed since I ate it back in 2019. Nevertheless, if you find yourself in the area and want some noodles, give Ushio a try.
Sherwin Lee: First time trying the oxtail ramen. Good amount of oxtail and Brussel sprouts along with garlic. Perfect!
Mark Chan: Good service and good food. What more do you want.
Doober 916: Great service, super delicious food. Got the black garlic tonkotsu and my mouth is rejoicing. And did I mention the customer service? 5 stars. Eat this Ramen.
Sonam Gupta: Really good ramen place. The appetizers and ramen were great. The owner was really nice. They follow the covid-19 guidelines and are open indoors at 25% capacity. Worth going for a nice lunch/dinner at this place. The spice was perfect for my craving.

Rebecca Cabeen: Amazing ramen and appetizers. I loved the Toncostu and the spring rolls. The broth has a wonderful deep flavor and the noodles are delicious. My one quam is that the meat was kinda hard to eat.Kid-friendliness: The 10-year-old I was with loves it.

Jamie Li: Very good ramen. Hard to find chicken ramen and they do it so well! I’ve tried most of the menu and my favorite is the ground chicken ramen one. The chicken leg was good but not amazing. The tossed dry spicy noodles were yummy and had a good kick but were pretty dry to a point that they were hard to eat without needing to sip some water every few bites to remoisten my mouth. It was interesting but I much prefer the broth ramen dishes. Also liked the mentaiko rice bowl as a little appetizer
Hiroki Taenaka: Nojo Ramen is a local gem, with creamy chicken soup to die for that everyone at work agrees is delicious. Its rich flavor is truly a superb cup that is packed with the flavor of chicken. The noodles are firm and go well with the soup. The chicken fillets in particular are tender, juicy, and delicious. The atmosphere inside the store is cozy and the staff is very friendly. A system for ordering by scanning a QR code. This is the perfect restaurant for lunch or dinner with work colleagues. Once you visit, you will definitely become a fan of Nojo Ramen!
