Yoav Saarony PTR Professional, USTA High Performance, USTA Sports Science- has 30 years of experience coaching tennis, and since 1998, has been certified by the PTR. Over the years, Yoav has developed a comprehensive positive coaching system for every skill level of the game. He has coached in major professional tournaments, including all 4 GrandSlams , Master 1000’s as well as many other Professional and elite Junior tournaments . Yoav also coached multiple D1 and All-American Players. Yoav lives in the San Fransicsco Bay Area currently and is Owner and Director of Yoav Saarony Tennis Coaching and Yoav is also Co High Performance Coach at Pure Pace Tennis academy and Played D1 Tennis at Rider University and earned a BA in Communications.

4worldlovers: Julio is very amicable, he is always encouraging and think in my position. He is sharp and observing, ready to point out one’s pros and cons. As a newbie, I progressed in a fast speed. The tennis courts he recommends are also great. I highly recommend Julio as a tennis coach.

I took lessons with Julio over a 2 week period while in San Francisco on vacation. Julio is a great coach. He improved my serve and volley game, as well as my drop shot. And if you’re looking for a good workout, Julio will make sure you get one. I highly recommend!!! Thanks Julio

Julio is a great coach, I’m glad i decided to give his academy a try! I purchased the intro lesson and it was enough to get me to buy his 10 lesson package. His scheduling link was very easy to use and i was able to book it quickly. I have confidence his training will help elevate my game to the next level.

My lessons are built on stressing proper movement and footwork (obtaining a workout), having fun and coming away from the lesson with several helpful stroke pointers and strategy features to implement when practicing on ones own time.

Packages of lessons are available as well. You will get a discount for purchasing a package of lessons.

City Racquet Shop: what do users think?

Vince Coronado: ! All of this within 5 days of meeting him! So glad to have finally wandered in as it's not far from my neighborhood, and also happens to be a short walk to Balboa Park, just down the street on San Jose, which has tennis courts. On top of all that, huge selection of racquets, and he also sells a variety of accessories and shoes. This is now going to be my go-to place for tennis supplies. Thanks Bryan!
