He connected all the dots, gave me answers I didn't expect, customized a plan exactly for my exact body, brain and layers of injuries... and they are now healed. Can't recommend his neurology expertise or the clinic strongly enough. And yes - that sounds trite, so read on for more details.After nearly 20 years, my intense and persistent post-concussive-grade migraines returned, following some body work for a different, more recent injury to my hip. Along with the massive headaches, vertigo spells and sudden appetite changes had stopped me in my tracks. I was wearing sunglasses inside, having trouble focusing, feeling massive discomfort when anything touched my stomach, sleeping a ton, and I couldn't walk more than a couple blocks. While this confluence of symptoms was baffling and irreconcilable by my other doctors, Dr. Azzolino connected all the dots. Starting with a series of baseline tests and diagnostics, he identified the part of my brain wasn't functioning properly. He orchestrated my custom treatment plan, told me he knew what to do, and asked me to trust him. I’m so glad I did.Neuro-rehab at the Azzolino Clinic changed my life. While the visits don’t go through my insurance, i still think i would have easily spent far more and wasted more time going with conventional medicine options. The office functions far more orderly than any experience at UCSF or CPMC, the staff are a pleasure and super helpful, and I’m grateful that most all of my tests are easily done right next door.

I had been to a couple different doctors but everyone told me to rest and try to go back to work again in a couple weeks. My primary care gave me some info on Dr Afzal, and it’s truly been life changing. She is patient, supportive, thoughtful, and goes out of her way to ensure her patients are getting the care they need. And EVERYONE at the clinic is really kind and supportive - it’s a happy and healthy community. They check in frequently about costs and make the most of any treatments - sometimes a 30 min treatment ended up taking more like 1.5 hours but they’d only charge for 30 min.I’ve never had a doctor so interested in my entire health - both history, and current symptoms. She asks about every little thing and wants you to report any slight symptom changes. She is also an inspiring boss woman!I am so so so happy I found the clinic and can not recommend Dr Afzal enough.

After going to another chiropractor who aggravated my neck and left me in severe pain, I went to Sergio. The first session was extremely thorough including X-rays so they could see the issue. His technique is very advance and superior than any other Chiropractic doctor I had seen.
