Angelo Camarda: Brandon and Danny are awesome! Jumped into kiting this year and, although they’ve been super busy teaching all the other zealous students like myself, they run a great school and take the time each person needs. Bought a 5 lesson package and couldn’t be more satisfied!

Nic Lopez: KGB is a fantastic option, it is not easy to rent kitesurfing equipment in the bay area. I went out twice with them, once at the Emeryville location and a second time at the Brisbane location. KGB offered jetski support, it was great to go downwind without the worry of coming back.I went to San Francisco from work and wanted to kiteboard in the bay area. Didn't want to bring equipment all the way from the east coast. I now look forward to more business trips!

Alan LaMielle: Received a 2 hour lesson as a gift. Super happy with the experience. Had a great time. First learned about the basics of wind, launching your kite on land, and kite safety. Then we headed to the water and started to figure out how make runs up and down the shore. Didn't quite get to using a board, but next lesson is where that would happen. Very glad for the gift!
Gabriel Thibaut: Although a bit disorganized, i.e. not using info already received. The welcome was warm, the teacher was paying attention to details and gave hands on tips. you feel prepare to launch your kite on your own after this two hours lesson. You have to resist the urge to buy the gears right away.Will come back to learn to ride the board.Thank you Dave.

Hossein Vaheid: Hello everyone,I bought my Evo 12 M SLS 2022 from Calikite last year.I was at 3rd Ave and after a good session my kite exploded by itself while resting on the beach ;so I called Calikite they asked me to bring it by.The next morning I took it there and good enough by late afternoon they call me and they said come and get the new one, the upgraded one,for 2023. I really appreciate Calikite for this.Thay saved my investment.

Gabe Lopes: Let me start this review off first by stating that if I could give them 6/5 stars, I would for their customer service and how they've treated me as customer throughout the last 4 years of buying gear through them!Whenever I buy anything from Cali Kites, I know that I can rest assured they will have my back if anything goes wrong which is extremely rare in the kiteboarding world.On top of this, they won't push products on customers based on their inventory level and will only make recommendations to help you achieve exactly what you're looking for on the water.For example: I've had long chats with Jake, Dylan and Brain on boards, kites, harnesses, bars, wetsuits and so much more, and they always provide their honest opinion on what they like/dislike and will only recommend the exact products to set you up for success on the water.It's rare seeing this because I know that not all other kite shops are like this and this is one of the many amazing things about the shop.Out of all of their recommendations that I've taken, they've never steered me wrong even once and I'm so thankful for taking their advice!If you're a SF local and are looking for kiting gear, make sure to tell them that I sent you and you'll get your local 15% off discount!
