Asterillia Lynn De Boise: Vegetarian options: Amazing! Fire roasted veggies the best!Dietary restrictions: They also had vegan options! Portions amazing! Great flavors! Reminds me of Turkey itself!
Aysenur AKKAS: 5 âïžfrom the bottom of my heart ! First i kept my expectations low cause as a Turkish person my taste standards are pretty high especially when it comes to my own cuisine. I tried most of the Mediterranean restaurants in the Bay area but this one is a bomb. Lahmacun's dough is crunchy like as it should be , i got 'to go'their combo kebab which comes with hummus and salad. Even the side dishes are competing the main. Staff is pretty kind. I am definitely coming back for more!
Umit EYRÄ°CE: Last evening, my dining experience at Geary Kebab House was nothing short of remarkable. As an avid enthusiast of Turkish cuisine, especially lahmacun, I have a refined palate for what constitutes authenticity and quality. It brings me great pleasure to say that Geary Kebab House has set a new standard for me in the Bay Area.We ordered lahmacun, a Greek salad, and baklava for dessert. Each dish was a testament to the chefâs mastery and dedication to traditional flavors. The lahmacun was exceptionally flavorful, with a perfect balance of spices and a crispy, thin crust that melted in your mouth â easily the best Iâve encountered locally. The Greek salad was fresh, vibrant, and complemented the meal with its crispness and the tangy dressing that tied everything together beautifully. As for the baklava, it was a sweet finale that did not disappoint, with its flaky layers and just the right amount of syrup â indulgent without being overly sweet. What also caught my attention was the atmosphere of the restaurant. The wall mural depicting rural Turkey and villagers making bread added a unique and authentic touch that enhanced our dining experience, making us feel as if we had taken a brief journey to Turkey itself.I wholeheartedly recommend Geary Kebab House to anyone looking to explore authentic Turkish cuisine. Their commitment to quality and the authenticity of their dishes is evident in every bite. A must-visit for fellow lahmacun fanatics and anyone who appreciates great food within a captivating setting.

Jxx X: The chicken gyro wrap was pretty good, but seemed a little light on the chicken. The chicken itself is really good. The hummus was pretty good too. Not a fan of the French fries, and the pita bread that came with the hummus wasnât the best. I wish they had a delivery option for no fries or substitute a small salad. Iâll give it a try in person as well, and I bet Iâll like it more.
Roselyn Vasquez: . Such great customer service and the food was delicious. We both enjoyed the lamb plate. Everything had excellent flavor and the meat was cooked perfectly and so flavorful. I rarely go to SF but if I'm ever in the area, I'd consider coming here again.
Anne Thom: Falafel plate and lamb gyro wrap which comes with fries were outstanding. Ask for extra wrap sauce if needed. As good as the gyros in Berlin. Service is excellent, very welcoming. Outside seating is nice. Inside seating is not bad.Vegetarian options: Falafel
Coskun Ardic: I have seen many Kitchens, kebap houses,This is absolutely the best one.If I go to San Francisco again, I will go to taste the same high quality food and atmosphere again. The location is well managed.I am totally agree with my wife, Zeynep.I appreciate the hospitality and the service . .
Meric Kutlu: I feel like home and that's a priceless feeling. I am from Istanbul, Turkey. I love how delicious the food and hospitality is in here. My favorites so far: Lentil soup, Adana and Chicken kebab. I was so touched when I was offered tea while I was waiting for my food. I believe that you need to speak Turkish for that. You can always tryđâ€ïžđđ

Anna Kim: and the kuzu incik
James Washer: A lovely restaurant, with extremely attentive staff and good food.Coming from around Europe, great Turkish restaurants are commonplace, so I was keen to try this restaurant in San Francisco. The setting is lovely, and as a solo diner they set me in a corner so I could look over the restaurant. The staff seem to have some sort of hive mind, always listening to what other people are ordering and whilst still talking to the waiter, part of your order will just appear on your table from someone else walking by!To start, I had the hummus - which was presented fantastically. It was really well blended and not grainy, but could have had more spices to flavour it - it was a little bland mainly just tasting of chickpea. The breads served with it were disappointing. This is usually my favourite part of eating at a Turkish restaurant, as the fresh cooked breads, served warm are amazing. Here they seemed like plain shop bought pitas and were spongy. For main, they made me a mixed shish with chicken and lamb, as on the menu they have them separately. This was good, although underwhelming compared to food at home. The pieces of meat were half the size and though and dry in comparison. The flavour is also missing a little of the chargrilled smoke you expect from a Turkish grill.Overall, a good meal, and I think Iâm comparing it unfairly hence 4* instead of 3* for the food.
Kevin Stewart: . Fries are crazy good too.Iâd recommend this place to anyone and everyone except if I donât like them.
Valerie Schmalz: Wonderful food and terrific staff. They were very crowded and we did not have a reservation but they found us a table after a short wait.Kid-friendliness: Kids were there and all was well

D Lee: Ordered the Chicken Gyro Wrap to go. Pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food and the large portion, particularly for the price I paid - particularly for downtown SF! Friendly service and the restaurant was clean as well. Recommended!Wheelchair accessibility: I thought it was great to see they had a wheelchair-accessible sign and table available.

C A: Itâs a real shame that this place is closing and I only recently tried this place.Itâs fantastic! We had the lamb shish kabob plate and the sampler plate. Both were fresh, flavorful, and a real treat for our tastebuds. The lamb was tender but still had charred flavor. The falafel was the best Iâve had, light and crispy. I havenât had legit Turkish bread since I visitors Turkey, and this was freshly baked and exceptional. I canât recommend this place enough! Only downside is there is no dine in so you need to take your food out with ya.
Jennifer Sung: AMAZING food. Everything we have ordered are delicious! The lady took my order is super nice and sweet. I love everything I have gotten so far. Their Falafels & sliced beef & lamb are just so delicious. I also love their Baba Ghanoush. Try this place, you won't regret!
Jackie Xu: , lentil soup, and baklava, and was offered bread along with the soup. Everything was absolutely delicious. The wrap was HUGE

Christine S: and half falafel plate. Their falafel is amazing - crunchy and filled with sesame seeds. I absolutely loved the sauces with the soft Turkish bread. The rice was incredibly flavorful as well. It was a LOT of food for one person, but I loved it so much I nearly finished it all. đ
They are doing takeout only at the time of review. I ordered at the window and it took less than 10 minutes for it to be ready. Easy street parking around the area.
Brandon Hausauer: Bomb falafel + baba ghanoush.
Jimmy Buffet: Absolutely stupendous and delicious. I would get food here every day if I could.
Alex Orr: This place is excellent.Ordered take-out tonite and food was phenomenal. Like really really good ... Very good Covid-safe order pickup from restaurant. Really loved it and will be back regularly. Glad they are open for business!
Angelus McNally: My mind and taste buds are absolutely blown away. The service was spectacular and so thoughtful. Would give 100/5 stars if possible.
Saba Rehmani: . No surprise this is a neighborhood favorite. We go weekly ;
Vickie Schleger: Best food...crave it!!!
Mariana Prutton: Wow. Canât recommend this place enough. Incredibly friendly and safe service and the food was DELICIOUS. Dan Feyk: This is one of those places that really should be more busy. Delicious, quick, cost effective. Nice dining room, very good service. Extensive menu, drink options. Generous portions! Nice restroom!!!Vegetarian options: I feel bad for a vegan that is not into falafel and hummus. Lentil soup. Delicious, healthy, cost effective.
Ecenina #: Popped in on the advice of friendsVery tasty place, large portionsHighly recommend âïžâïžâïžâïžâïž
Josh Larison: We order from this place a decent amount but tonight was especially đ„. Lamb kofta plate + pitas were the best ive ever hadFood: 5/5 âŠ
Sebastian Celik: The ambience is not the newest or most modern, but the food is top class. Everything was very clean and neatly arranged. Taste wise a ten out of ten. There's even Turkish lemonade here that reminds me of my childhood.Vegetarian options: We told the checkout that we don't eat meat. This was immediately taken into account and suggestions were sent to us.
ibrahim kocaman: I took my friend from France there this evening and we absolutely loved it. The authenticity of their Turkish dishes, their service, friendliness of the staff, the kĂŒnefe and brewed Turkish black tea were all perfect. We took the Combo grill together with the combo sides since I wanted my friend to taste a bit of as many different dishes as possible. It was more than enough for two people. All were great. The beef and lamb döner and skewers were especially to write home. Ezme turned out to be our favorite. They also serve Ćalgam which my friend loved a lot. KĂŒnefe and pot brewed real Turkish tea were the perfect choices to finish with.Next time I will try some of their oven baked dishes like lahmacun and pides.Prices were very reasonable considering the quality of the food and service.Vegetarian options: Most of the pides would be naturally vegetarian. Some sides/appetizers are absolutely vegetarian.

JP G: We stopped in here for a little snack after the library which turned out to be quite a lot of food so it really was "first dinner." Never had the veggie plate here and it was really great as was the spinach pie. I used to come here 10 plus years ago and it is just as good. I'm so glad I tried something beyond the gyro because everything was really good. Each of the items on the mezza platter had distinct flavors and we even discovered a few that hadn't had before. For example, one of them was a spicy eggplant and it was delicious! Like others have commented. The staff were really nice. The man who worked the counter, perhaps the owner was very friendly and willing to answer questions and provided suggestions as well. The ambiance was also quite nice for a block that otherwise is not very distinguished. Highly recommend coming here if you're in the Civic Center for any reason.
Vicki Wyne: We used to eat dinner here on our way to Davies Symphony Hall 15 years ago. We moved away and just came back this week for a mini vacation. We took a chance today and it was as delicious as ever. We had the chicken kebab plate and the lamb kebab plate and 2 cans of soda for $48. What a bargain. The food is fresh, healthy and plentiful. The flavors are wonderful and the service is very good. Itâs clean and neat insideâtruly a little gem.
Erik Fosker: The host is very friendly and the food is delicious with very generous portions! Itâs a gem in a tough neighborhood.Vegetarian options: There is a section of the menu that is a vegan menu.Wheelchair accessibility: There are no steps on the threshold to enter the restaurant

E E: Kind stuff in a healthy gyros with souce served on the side so you can have as little or as much as you like.
Noelle Garrick: Portion sizes were smaller than I expected but tasted great.Service: 5/5Recommended dishes Lamb & Beef Gyro âŠ
Jim Moncrieff: Living in the Sierra foothills, I don't get much opportunity for Mediterranean food so was craving it this SF evening. When I walked into NB Gyros, I smelled that unmistakable but unfortettable aroma of grilled meat so I ordered their grill sampler. I also ordered an appetizer of baba ganoush and a cold Stella Artois. The baba ganoush arrived quickly and I devoured it. I'm no expert but this was so delicious and I wanted more. Next, the grilled sampler came and I was amazed at how much food was included. There were two varieties of chicken, beef, kofte, and lamb, rice, salad and pita. All the meats were flavorful and had that delicious char I was looking for. The chicken was a little overcooked and dry but still delicious. I couldn't finish this big platter so was offered a take-away box, which I gladly accepted.I know I'll return because the service was fast and friendly, the atmosphere was open and welcoming and the food was delicious!

CW Chung: Recommendation for vegetarians Highly recommend
Jeff Ho: Going back into the office three days a week is tough. Well, at least I can eat at my old favorite restaurants around Fidi again. Oasis Grill is still around. I can't believe it. Most of Drumm st. feel abandoned. We got the beef shawarma wrap $17 and a vegan deluxe bowl $14. It didn't taste as good as before though. Still very good. My shawarma wrap had plenty of meat and had a lot of flavor. Good job everyone at Oasis Grill.
