Zuane Negron: Very nice cozy theater. The place is well maintained. Stairs/elevator. Nice bathrooms. The seats in the theater can use an improvement, but in general. It was a nice place. Very welcoming and respectful people.

City Dance Annex: what do users think?

Jenny Xu: Came here for a beginner hip hop class and wow what a good time! Jepoy was an amazing instructor and it was so much fun, it was more of an intermediate level in my opinion, but I picked up the choreo and ended up really liking the song + the vibes and how encouraging the experience was. No one was judged, and the prices were reasonable too. Class is well organized and starts/ends on time.

Harsha Mohan: the best choreo classes in san francisco proper

Cuauhtemoc Ramirez: Very good place to dance and relax with the family who likes the atmosphere,

Manuka Stratta: Christy Coté’s tango class was amazing! Very helpful tips and kind reaching style. The Studio should do a better job of isolating noise/music from the main room though, as it was sometimes hard to hear our music.

Kathryne: There were some different images of the building and it was confusing to me, so I enclosed the photo of the entrance. This studio is very inspiring and atmospheric

Winter Bird: super friendly staff and choreo teachers!

Barry Zhang: Much love for my boy VincentGreat vibe and fantastic teacherIf you’re a beginner go to his classes!

San Francisco Pole and Dance: what do users think?

Béatrice Monat: I’m visiting San Francisco and was looking for a place to work out. Patricia kindly answered all my questions and helped me book my first class this morning. The class was absolutely amazing!! This is the best experience I’ve ever had at a pole studio

Pippi Jones: Absolutely, love this place and the teachers. Very clean and large space with a welcoming atmosphere and knowledge staff.

Patti Weiss: Teachers were great and so helpful.

Nika Sepehri: I started taking Aerial classes for the first time about 9 months ago and I can’t recommend it enough! Deborah has been an amazing instructor, she always makes sure to give instructions that everyone can follow no matter their background in silks, and she is always willing to correct/help you whenever you need it. The SF pole and dance space is very welcoming and friendly, and I always look forward to the next class. Thank you Deborah and SF pole and dance for these amazing classes!

Charles Philpot: Came here for some classes when I was on holiday and it was amazing. Lovely receptionist, lovely studio and instructors. Poles are so so so tall, gorgeous mirrors and good flooring. Highly recommend!

Mama Tety: AND super strong. The best part is I was able to get a trick that I hadn’t been able to do before. She broke it down in a way that really made sense to me. Yay!!

Sarah Hersey: is a knockout and has been instrumental in guiding me here. She is extremely knowledgeable and so kind as an instructor, and I love bringing friends who are pole-curious to her beginning classes. And Yoko! Yoko's choreo classes keep me dancing in my seat all week. Get yourself to her class asap! I love bringing friends who have their heel legs to Yoko's flow classes, they are so much fun, and Yoko's choreography is absolutely gorgeous.Thank you SFP&D for the amazing, safe and beautiful space. And thank you to the amazing teachers who give us their time!

Jessica Nicolet: I’m not sure words can adequately express how much I love this studio and the people who make up its community! From the first time I walked into the SF studio I felt supported and safe to explore and learn, no matter how little experience I came in with, how I looked or who I was. I have absolutely fallen in love with pole dancing and so much of that is due to the amazing community and its phenomenal teachers and staff!I especially want to shout out:Karina for being the best hype-woman there is at 8:30 on a Tuesday morning and being an absolute joy to learn from!Christy is my pole mama and I have learned so much from her in the past 11 months- from the way she breaks down moves into manageable pieces, conditions the sh*t out of you, and cheers you on relentlessly.Maddie is truly masterful with her choreography and made it so easy to pick up the sequence when a group of us did the Fall showcase, and made me feel so badass doing it too.TLDR: every teacher here is supportive, encouraging, and genuinely invested in their students’ success, whatever that looks like for each individual. This studio is incredible, try out a class- you won’t be disappointed!

JR: Jenna is incredibly welcoming at the front desk! Classes with Kyra, Lisa, and Maddie are always INSANELY fun and they really make me feel good about myself! LOVE them!!

Lindsay Dilworth: I love this studio and these people! Classes are fun and challenging--a good workout without feeling like a workout, plus great music. Daisy is my favorite choreo teacher, love the slow flow 333

Michael Tepper: I had the chance to attend a student showcase tonight and wanted to thank Jenna who was working in the front desk for making the check in process so easy! I was a little lost going up trying to find the location but was welcomed by the friendly host and checked into the event smoothly. Thank you!

Elena Vaskovskaia: I’ve been going to this studio for almost a year now, and I totally love everything about it: cool and trendy space, friendly atmosphere, wide variety of classes to choose from, but most importantly — amazing and knowledgeable instructors!!I would especially recommend any of the Os’s classes— he is always extra-attentive to all the details, breaking down the material to such small pieces that your progress, safe for your body, is guaranteed!

Gaby Rosales: I really love Mae Mae's classes. She explains the exercises and tricks in detail so you know exactly how to move. You get better each time!

Mutya Mithi Del Rosario: I also love Aby's style of dancing so much that I've started taking private classes with her regularly, in addition to her Heels Choreo classes. She has really helped me build my strength and my confidence in pole! She is great at correcting me and teaching me good technique, and she is always cheering me on. :

Phiphi Cupcake: She's also super encouraging and she has such fun and positive energy!

West Coast Dance Conservatory: what do users think?

Ping N.: Update: my daughter joined the company and loves it. It is intense, but that's what we signed up for, I guess! The girls come here to dance. Between my daughters and nieces, we have taken ballet, jazz, hip-hop, lyrical, and tap. They all love it. The teachers are great with all ages. The spring performance is extremely well planned out. It's so cute to see all the kiddos on stage.Director sends all details in really comprehensive emails.

Kailan Brooks: I am so happy I found this studio! This studio is such a nurturing environment and the community is awesome! This is my second home, highly recommend!

Bryce Master: Love this studio!! It’s an amazing environment with amazing teachers and fellow students! Been dancing here for 5 years and i could not be happier.

David Wu: Excellent

Melinda Joly: My kids really like their classes here. They don't nickel-and-dime you to death on class dress codes--you just have to wear the correct-color leotard. The end-of-year performance is held in San Mateo, so it's not too bad a drive.

Veronica Milenkiy: to learn to dance and grow. All teachers are highly skilled, professional and know how to work with young children. Environment is very positive and welcoming and studios are clean and spacious. Ms. Angela

Lily L: I have been attending adult ballet classes there. The instructor is encouraging and professional. The class has a great vibe. I really enjoy my time there and will keep coming.

《徐聚坤》: Best place ever! The dance rooms are SO neat and the teachers are so fun and the teachers teach in a great way!

Karinda K: The best dance studio in the San Francisco Bay Area! The teachers are the best and are highly trained. They offer such a warm welcoming environment for the kids to learn and grow.

Manda A.: My daughter has been in Hip hop class for 6 six months at West Cost Dance. Teachers are energetic, kind and do it at their best. My daughter loves the Hip hop class and have a lot of fun, exercise and of course she learn new moves every class she goes. I really recommend this dance studio for kids.

Berenice Jimenez: The teachers are great, their environment is fantastic! I’d put my daughter here again! She learned so much!

San Francisco Dance Space: what do users think?

Sloane Rilliet: I love San Francisco dance space with all my heart. It’s been nearly 11 years since I first started dancing there and has been a wonderful and lifting journey ever since. The teachers are so incredibly talented and influential to young aspiring dancers. The owner, Laura Wexler has been one of the most loving and hardest working people I have met.

Stephanie Fung: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,QualityMy girls have been dancing with Ms. Laura for the last 9 years. They have learned proper ballet form and technique, and it's amazing to see them develop. Highly recommend this place. Great place for your children to really develop their love for ballet.

Kimberly Abell: An empowered, inclusive, nurturing dance community developed under the expert tutelage of Artistic Director & Owner, Ms. Laura Wexler. We’re a SFDS forever family with two high-schoolers now enrolled in Asawa SOTA’s Dance Program and a little one who pirouettes 24/7. The infectious esprit Ms. Laura brings to her classes day in and day out is a marvel, as are her annual spring ballet theater productions!

Chiara Wine: My child has been a dancer with Ms. Laura and the teachers at San Francisco Dance Space for 12 years. She has grown from casually interested in dancing because a friend was doing it to intensely passionate about dance. Recently we had to put a limit to the number of days she could take classes here otherwise she would be there everyday. She loves it so much. She has had nothing but a positive experience here with every instructor she has worked with. The owner, Ms. Laura, pushes her students to work hard but is also extremely caring and compassionate with all of her students. She is an excellent teacher and seems to have a personal connection with each and every student to bring out their best. The end of year performance is extremely well orchestand obviously a labor of love for the staff and the students. If your child wants to push themselves and expand their practice beyond only SF Dance Space she is there for them. She is extremely helpful and knowledgeable about programs throughout the city as well as summer intensive programs etc. SF Dance Space has been and all around great experience for our family, I couldn’t recommend it any higher.During the Covid shutdown the studio staff was able to pivot pretty quickly and transition instruction online so students could have access and some consistency during these stressful times.

Susan Karp: for more than eleven years and has gotten an excellent foundation in both ballet and contemporary dance, good enough to be accepted into nationally-recognized summer intensives as well as SOTA's exceptionally competitive dance program. The director is not only a terrific and inspiring teacher but she also cares deeply about the physical and emotional well-being of her students

E Saiki: My daughter has been taking ballet at SF Dance Space for 12 years now. Each year I have been amazed by how much my daughter has grown as a dancer. Ms. Laura, the founder, is an extraordinary dance instructor and director. She and her team of instructors are unique in their ability to inspire, challenge, and develop young dancers. They also care deeply about each student. Every year concludes with an incredible performance with beautiful staging. Ms. Laura is warm, attentive, hard-working, and responsive. We feel so fortunate that SF Dance Space has been a part of our daughter's life!

Peggy Lee Mirpuri: My daughters have been dancing with Ms Laura and her team for over 12 years. The teachers are all so caring and compassionate. This is not a movement class - this is learning ballet and contemporary with proper form and alignment. The spring shows are so amazing as she weaves not just the beginners but the older pointe classes into one cohesive story and makes a beautiful production that the girls are so proud to share with all their family and friends. I would HIGHLY recommend SF Dance Space if you have a child who dreams of being a ballerina and loves to dance. That's how we started and our girls' have only grown since we've been with her studio.

Kevin Terjesen: San Francisco Dance Space is a a 5 star place. I registered my daughter for ballet classes 10 years ago and I never realized what an important part of her growth and development Ms. Laura and her excellent teachers would become. I would describe them as warm demanders. The are highly professional and know how to pull the best from each dancer while providing a caring and family like environment. I would definitely recommend San Francisco Dance Space to anyone that is looking for a outstanding dance studio with excellent teachers.

Rhona O'Leary: My daughter has danced with Miss Laura and her team for many years and has grown as a dancer and as a person. She has learned the techniques of ballet, but more importantly she has developed an appreciation for hard work and commitment, compassion for others and herself, as well as deep friendships with the other dancers with whom she has danced for many years.

The Pusateris: We feel so lucky to have an amazing wonderful place like this in sf- Ballet and Contemporary classes are top notch! My daughter liked dance when she enrolled and now years later she loves it. Thanks to this dance school and the wonderful community and kind, professional owner, my daughter and many of her fellow dancers have found their passion.

Nicole Poulson: My daughter has been going to SF Dance Space for 8 years. She has had many teachers over the years and every single one has been magical and contributed to my daughter's love of dance in so many ways. The woman who runs the studio is incredible - I think of her as the matriarch of our dance family. She is responsive, caring, genuine and instills discipline, but incorporates fun and laughter as well. She hires great teachers, and she knows so much about what she does, but more importantly she knows and cares about so many families and dancers. I've heard so many horror stories about dance studios near and far - I could not be more grateful or happy that we are part of the San Francisco Dance Space family. And, during COVID, SF Dance Space responded and adapted swiftly to ensure dancers were still getting training and continuing their love of dance.

lucylinemarketing: I highly recommend San Francisco Dance Space as a wonderful, nurturing dance program for emerging and experienced dancers. The studio owner & director is a particular standout, providing pathways for her dancers to compete and perform in dance programs at the highest levels all over the country. The beginning classes are small and nurturing, and provide individualized attention for all skill levels. The year-end recital is the highlight that the kids prepare for all year. The choreography, costumes, & set design are amazing for a child/teen program. This is a place that your child can find their niche, community, and a safe place to grow up. The studio is like a second home to my daughter, who has been with the program and taking multiple classes a week for 11+ years!

Debbie Zimmerman: Excellent teachers, personal attention, spectacular spring performances. A gem of a studio!

Sheldon Rilliet: Such a wonderful program. My daughter loves her classes.

Anel Muller: A great place to develop a love of dance while also attaining the technical skills to be an amazing dancer. The teachers are warm and highly skilled. The studio is beautiful and open. The end of year recital is quite a production that showcases the tiniest to the eldest dancers.
