P Sand: Good food, great lamb burger. Shared a carafe of red wine and had a fine meal. Our server and his playful attitude made it better. Great SF neighborhoodVegetarian options: Just ask and thou will receive.
Vicky Zeamer: . The grilled halloumi is an object of my dreams. All in all, a great regular spot!EDIT: I’ve given the hummus another chance after a year or two and I’m happy to report it’s much better now!
Martin Wasiak: Stopped by for dinner when our other dinner plans fell through. We got a seat outside under a heat lamp so we could eat with our puppy. We ordered meatballs, gyro, cobb salad, and brussel sprouts. All tasted excellent. The service was awesome and our waiter added to the friendly vibe we were looking for.

Vincent Chan: Can’t believe I haven’t reviewed Truly Mediterranean yet as this place is my go-to for lunch. Mediterranean combo plate is OP and the guys behind the counter hook it up. Baba ganoush has excellent flavor. Super generous portions. Lentil soup is usually ready by noon but definitely something I look forward to when eating here.
moe al yousef: Good food and good customer service

JP G: We stopped in here for a little snack after the library which turned out to be quite a lot of food so it really was "first dinner." Never had the veggie plate here and it was really great as was the spinach pie. I used to come here 10 plus years ago and it is just as good. I'm so glad I tried something beyond the gyro because everything was really good. Each of the items on the mezza platter had distinct flavors and we even discovered a few that hadn't had before. For example, one of them was a spicy eggplant and it was delicious! Like others have commented. The staff were really nice. The man who worked the counter, perhaps the owner was very friendly and willing to answer questions and provided suggestions as well. The ambiance was also quite nice for a block that otherwise is not very distinguished. Highly recommend coming here if you're in the Civic Center for any reason.
Vicki Wyne: We used to eat dinner here on our way to Davies Symphony Hall 15 years ago. We moved away and just came back this week for a mini vacation. We took a chance today and it was as delicious as ever. We had the chicken kebab plate and the lamb kebab plate and 2 cans of soda for $48. What a bargain. The food is fresh, healthy and plentiful. The flavors are wonderful and the service is very good. It’s clean and neat inside—truly a little gem.
Erik Fosker: The host is very friendly and the food is delicious with very generous portions! It’s a gem in a tough neighborhood.Vegetarian options: There is a section of the menu that is a vegan menu.Wheelchair accessibility: There are no steps on the threshold to enter the restaurant
Janet Kar: After enjoying tacos in the area, we came here for some soft serve Greek yogurt, which was yum. Their best seller was the Greek yogurt with olive oil and salt. I tried the baclava one, which was sweet and very delicious as well. Depends if you prefer savory or sweet. You first order, find a spot, and the servers will serve you once your food is ready. They also have a pour your own water station.
Karlo Delalic: Food: 5/5

Karie Allan: I have been ordering Portioli coffee from them for about 15 years and shipped in to Washington. The owners are a class act.
MD Networking Publications: It is a simple place, but very cozy. The food is wonderful and the portions are plentiful. I love the Greek salad. I recommend!
Paulo Napolitano: Excellent Greek food. Staff is awesome!
MICHAEL S. RUPPENTHAL: This is a hidden treasure. The food is excellent and the price is as well. Do not miss the opportunity to hit this place up, you will be so very glad you did.
Kyle Dowling: I've been looking for a solid accessible Greek place in SF for a few years now. Souvla is garbage and not sure how thats even classified as Greek. Kokkari is fantastic, but outrageously expensive. Alas, I've found The Argentum Project! It is easily the best and most authentic Greek cuisine you can get in the city and priced just right! Demetrios, the owner is very nice, informative, and helpful! Highly highly recommend!!!
Zeke Weiner: Fantastic source for Greek wines. I stop in regularly to pick up some that have become favorites and to try new ones. The owner is very knowledgeable. Greek wines have such a variety and richness of flavor. This has become a favorite stop of mine.
King David: The food is delicious, the service is wonderful, the business owner is amazing!
Colton Hines: I tried this place after a coworker suggested it. I was a little leary due to the location of the restaurant but it is well worth it. Within 20 feet you could smell what they are cooking inside. The staff was extremely friendly and very sociable. They offered me drinks and coffee while i waited. My meal was started right away and it smelled delicious. Every thing was fresh from the potatoes and the pita bread to the juicy chicken and the tasty salad. I will definitely be making myself a regular here.
Jason Josip (Box): Solid and authentic greek food! Super friendly.
Lia Papazoglou: Authentic and delicious Greek food that is family owned! Highly recommend stopping by for lunch if you are downtown or take some tasty treats home to enjoy later!
Ingrid Evans: Amazing Greek food! They will deliver groceries and prepared foods too, we highly recommend!
gkontomi: Great place, amazing food, inviting owner!

Paul Gibula: Good wraps.
Wesley Adams: Quick!! Great takeout!!
René Burcham: Delicious lentil soup and vegetarian pies.
Miles Johnson: Big soups with fresh lemon wedges
Jose Carlos dos Santos Danado: Great staff.
신승수: The owner is Chinese, but the gyro is quite edible and delicious. Good for lunch.
Greg Groeneveld: Wonderful Mediterranean food prepared by people who call you by your name after a few visits
Jack: Overall a good lunch spot if you are looking for Mediterranean. I recommend the lentil soup is probably the star dish on the menu and can be ordered in combination with almost anything else. The gyro is big and tasty and the chicken is well cooked and seasoned.Service is quick, but abrupt. Not a negative, just something to be prepared for.
Tonette Queri: Great place to get your Mediterranean fix. Highly recommended. Though you can eat here, most people take out. The food is prepared in house. Lentil soup is so tasty, creamy and hot not lukewarm. The beef and lamb sharwama is HUGE and flavourful.
J K: When I first went here it was by chance. Hadn't heard of it, didn't know anything about it. Since then, I haven't forgotten anything about it. Legitimately the best Mediterranean restaurant in the City and it's in the low-key, locals neighborhood of West Portal. My fianceé and I absolutely love this place. Yanal and Yasmin have been amazing hosts everytime we have gone. The food is tasty, healthy, and affordable; plus, the hummus and pita bread are peak! I take all of my out of towers and down towners here for a meal. They always rave about it. Bursa is a big W. I highly recommend you go. Use the like under my comment as the "I agree" button once you get home from the Bursa experience.
josh davis: I think more could have been done to accommodate a wheelchair but still good experience otherwiseWheelchair accessibility: We were seated all the way in the back with possible seating closer to the door making it a bit challenging
