Hamada H: Beer snob, beer nerd? This is the spot for you! Amazing hard to find beers on tap to an amazing canned/bottled selection, Tyler was working on my visit and he was very welcoming and very knowledgeable about the beer's, showed great hospitality! Definitely will be my go to spot.
H 2Dope: City beer is awesome. The bartenders are personable, friendly andbinsightful. I don't drink beer often but my gf does and they helped me find something that would go with my pallet and ease into the beer scene. My gf has said this is our spot now. So we will definitely be returning.
Dan Medici: First visit to famous City Beer store. I first was introduced by them during the pandemic when they mailed out blind tasting box of TIPAs which was a lot of fun. The store has a nice rotating selection of quality crafts. And the beer fridge is chock full of cans for take away or drink on-site. The beer tenders are nice and knowledgeable. No food so bring your own.
David S: Fantastic place with lots of beers on tap as well on the fridge to go.
MissionYoga: The original craft beer bar and bottle shop in their Mission location in the old Amnesia spot.Great selection of craft beers, friendly knowledgeable staff, chill vibes.
Erika Butterfield: It was cool to go to the game night! Great selections!I gave 4 stars since it's a bar vibe here but the tender was unenthuzed. As a bar manager, you make regulars by prompting conversations and making relationships. She barely took my order. I think the manager served my my first drink. He was nice. I mean, she wasn't rude at all, she just barely looked at me as I sat a lone at the bar for a while. Just seemed odd. Still 4-stars. Still will go back. Maybe I'll get a smile out of her 🙂
Ed Olvera: Love this place, very reminiscent of the original location. Lots of really cool sours. Must go to place if your on Valencia 🔥❤️💜 💯
Ryan Ringler: Tons of great craft beer here!
Luke O: Been going to city beer for close to a decade now, ultimately of the three locations their newest one is the worst, but I suspect it was necessary after COVID and unsustainability of its mission st. spot. I still appreciate the online store and will come here if there is an amazing tap takeover but not a must to frequent anymore. Most pics you'll see on this listing are the old locations.
Maksim Marholin: Decent beer selection, both on tap and bottled. All styles and flavours are there, and you can take a small taster, or a full glass. Highly recommend.

Bryan Smith: Great tap room we visited while on vacation in SF.Don’t forget to tip your bar tender's!
David S: Huge tap list selection with of lots of rare beers to go as well. They have the option of small pours which is perfect for someone from out of town try a lot of diferent beers.
Shawn Cook: Great Beer selection and excellent “beer”tenders . Rotating selections and educated beer lovers from around the world, too !
Jonathan Sacks: One of my favorite beer bars in the city
Martin Rake: Top draw craft selection in the fridges and also on tap. Some amazing breweries to choose from such as Russian River and the Alchemist.Friendly server, also allowed to get your own food delivered here.
Craig Dooley: Perfect suburban bar with a great selection and easy going staff.Atmosphere is a bit low key, but may change during the evening!

Stephen Perron: At first the service was unworthy but once I got their attention it improved exponentially. The shrimp tacos and steak sandwich were good. The mango sour smoothie was delicious but sour. The Ghirardelli beer was awesome with the beer.
DPM: Friendly bartender, great service, great beers! Will visit again.
Molly S: Great location and vibe! We just stopped in for drinks this time!! The beers were really good!! Loved the live music
Amanda Walpole: Recently visited during our vacation. Great friendly atmosphere. Tasty pours. And our beer tender Stephano was super hospitable. Made my husband's 50th birthday trip memorable. Thanks for a great experience.
Jonathan Hofer: Nice atmosphere. It has both indoor and outdoor seating. The food menu is varied. It's worth getting a beer flight or two.
Xie Weiqing: Vanilla contusion IPA is 👍.Chocolate Stout is interesting.Mango madness sour is amazing!
Mike Bush: I came at a very low key time and really enjoyed myself. The staff was great, with great service. And the beer met and exceeded my expectations. Will come back.
Robin Magee: Tried the strawberry lager and a burger with onion rings. The onion rings here are a must! The outdoor seating is pretty nice and has fire pits to keep you warm.
James Rodriguez: Great place to visit for a deliciously unique beer and good food
Joshua Pelfrey: It's okay
Aileen munoz: The best beers I've ever tasted are all in San Francisco. This place has an amazing selection of craft beers. Alex, Isaac and Israel helped us get our flights and food really quickly and despite it was super busy they made sure we were taken care. Excellent location.
Paul and Lillian Bruns: This is a pretty big place. They have both indoor and outdoor seating and a lot to do in a pretty popular location. We were thinking it might be a bit too popular but we stopped by on a Thursday afternoon and it wasn't crowded. Both beers we had were very good in diverse styles. It wasn't a very deep selection but we did have a good IPA and amber. We liked the atmosphere and location and their logo. The downside was the service. After our first beer one of the two bartenders seemed to go on break or something and he never came back. It was too busy for one bartender and he seemed overwhelmed. It took a while to get our second beer and then the check. Maybe it was just break time or someone called out? Otherwise very good.
Matt Reese: Very impressed with their beer. The nitro stout was the best stout I have ever had.

Eric Agudelo: The draft beer selection is average. Where beer hall stands out is in the menu with an extensive bottled beers selection. Not a place if you're looking for a good fun atmosphere. I was there on a Friday at 7pm and it was dead quiet with only a couple of patrons.
Mick Dimas: More of a beer closet, but chill and comfortable with a nice selection of craft brews and a limited but solid wine list. Will definitely come back to this cozy spot.
W Yim: Good selection of beers, but wish they had more food options
Rudi Geussens: Great bar!
Dr. Grant Mitchell Saxena, Ph.D.: Stopped in on a Tuesday afternoon around happy hour time. Great selection of drafts with various pallettes. The bar tender Liz was very helpful with recommendations and energetic to chat with. Nice view across the street from the Twitter HQ. Will stop by again when in town.
Benoit Sigoure: Wide and ever changing selection of local and regional beers.
Michael Kim: .It was a beer + meatball sandwich + salad for $20!

El Wood: Amazing beer.
Michael Barton: Cellarmaker is one of the best breweries in the bay area. Their beers are crisp, well balanced, and delicious. The entry and taproom are fairly small so try going during off peak times or on weekdays if you want some space. They mostly serve IPAs, but my favorite was the coconut Bourbon Blammo stout. Expect to be carded even if you aren't drinking anything. Street parking is available nearby.
Ben Brooks: Always great variety. Dark beers, IPAs, all great.
Kirk Shearer: beers are good- but 21+ only so couldn't go in this time due to kids in tow. next time...
Davis Krekels: Good beer friendly service. Can’t ask for more. Does get crowded, but to be expected in a small spot with great stuff!
Jeremy Block: Good beer. Good people. This place is on its way! 💪🏽😍
Robert Carson: Can’t wait to go back this was my favorite brewery while visiting San Francisco.
Jason Strnad: Still a favorite... great creative craft beer. World class.
Marcus Rosti: Cellarmaker is amazing. Just come here. In fact. Come here just for this.Update: no update, still amazing
Angel zurita: Try their baby blammo stout
Richard Lossing: Definitely some of the best beer in SF, served by the nicest, friendliest, most patient and knowledgeable staff possible. The draft list changes frequently, which allows one to continually find a new favorite.
Luis Baylon: . P.S. you can bring outside food if hungry

Byron Conn: Love it here. Good beers, fun games and run by great people
Christophe Bellet: Great beers and tap room.
Erik Braa: One of the best SF brewers. Wide selection of beverages.
Gail Ann Williams: A gem of a place. They make beer, wine, a soda — they roast their own coffee, and invite tasty food trucks. The beers are great and the community gathering function has everybody happily hanging out. This is a neighborhood place. A major focus is on their trendy beers — which they do well and win medals for in international competitions, but there’s always a variety of choices. Now and then they brew some uncommon elegant old world style that makes you sigh. A good place.
Alice Hou: I stopped by Barebottle Brewing and had a blast! Their flight option let me taste some cool hazy and stout beers. The stout was my favorite—it was really tasty! The place is huge and has lots of different beers to try. Plus, they've got games to play, which is fun. It can be a bit tough to find parking, but they've got a food truck for snacks.
Paul and Lillian Bruns: Bare bottle is a pretty great brewery. They had a great selection of beer, both in style and quality. Some of the best flights we've had. We liked the snifter serving style and really enjoyed the beers. They seem to focus a little more on IPA's but had great stouts and barleywines too. Nice warehouse atmosphere and pretty busy when we visited.
colin miller: always great service and a huge beer selection, different food trucks each night
John Smithers: I recently visited Barebottle Brewing Company in San Francisco, and I was blown away by their unique selection of craft beers. The atmosphere was lively and inviting, perfect for hanging out with friends and trying new brews. I especially loved their IPA, it had such a rich flavor!
Kai Leeper-Sale: James and tjark litterally the best bartenders ever better give those gs a raise
Daniel Palarca: Wonderful establishment! Ask for James, service with a smile every time and he plays the best music. Heavy pourer and I love it
Carolina G: The sparkling white was perfect! So dry and yummy. Only complaint is that the pour is so small, didn't look like 5 oz but then that could be me just wishing it was more :( They also had at least one sour option.
Ed Olvera: Love to come here, always great staff and good beer but they let people bring their kids and they just run around like maniacs. Breweries are definitely not kid friendly invornment.
D Cheh: . The wine is not inexpensive but it is good. On days off, families come here with little children. The Colombian food stall serves tasty food, mostly fried. Beers come in a large range.
Dean Sofer: Good vibes and great tacos
Ron Elder: Edgy drinking howf in the old hippie area of SF. Three real ales on handpump on offer - the only place in North America that I’ve so many handpumps working in a single outlet! Even better is the fact that the two real ales that I tried were in very good condition. Please note that it’s a ‘Cash Only’ establishment - the only place that I found in North America with this payment policy. Also note the antique cash register behind the bar, which is still working.Definitely worth a visit for some excellent beers, and a walk down memory lane!
Lennart Lövstrand: One of the best beer bars in the world. Seriously! Fantastic selection at very reasonable prices in a relaxed, no-nonsense atmosphere.Recommended dishes Blind Pig, Pint of Beer, Craft Beer …
The Travelling Friend: Great chill timeRecommended dishes Craft Beer …
Keith Nero: The most unpretentious inviting place ive been in a long time. Super friendly staff, great recommendations, and overall very welcoming. They have an amazing selection, and priced fairly. The staff is incredible, but the regulars here are so friendly, you feel welcomed immediately. Already planning another trip to SF just to come back here. Shout out to Dan.

Matthew Wilson: Hidden gem of a brewery located near the 4th & King Caltain. I wandered in to watch SNF after a long week, and thoroughly enjoyed my time.Highlights:Belgian Bump: excellent, coffee forward belgian golden with Philz CoffeeSomething About Berry: flavor rich berry sour. Refreshing, juicy but well balanced. Unlike some sours, could drink a few and not get sick of it.Pretzel: Classic, not too doughy. Get the mustard-cheese dipService: Shout out to Sierra who recommended all of the above and was friendly, professional and prompt.Environment: clean, relatively quiet with some good background music and comfortable seating.
Svetlana Kholodar: All beers tasted very good. Recommend.
Chris Jex: Really great no nonsense brewery with surprising good food menu near cal train. Recommend the 69 pils
Alban Vieille: Top notch dry-hopped IPAs, pale ales and lager, the kitchen is done with the heart and you will feel it in the plate. Very nice staff. Overall a great place to visit if you're into hops!!
Robert McClintic: We were doing a little hike out at Lands End and found ourselves in the bar at the Lincoln Park Golf Course and I had a Air Hugs. When the bartender told us Local Brewing Co was here in S.F. it was added to the itinerary. Some really good beers and the food was on point. We’ll be back. This is a little gem here in the SOMA neighborhood.
Amee Mattarolo: Love this brewery! I was in SF for 4 days and visited this spot twice because the beers are delicious and the vibe is great. I recommend you visit for a great craft beer and pub food options. Cheers!Parking: No fee for parking in their lot!
Michelle Lovejoy: Good beer & decent snacks. Friendly bartenders.
Allison Fix: Fantastic beer and light fare in a casual bar. I appreciated the wide variety of styles of beer--I especially liked the Baycation Tropical Blonde.

Jeff Simeone: Great place with good beer and fine food with great servers and bartenders shout out to Walter, Lindsey, Everett, Juanito
deee Harrell: Good beer
Harsha R: Dang, the beer is good! Have to admit, I was treating beer as a ‘filler’ drink when out with friends, LMB showed me how good it can be by itself. Will continue to enjoy and evangelize them going forward!!!
Clint Albright: Great beer and an awesome place to drink with friends.
Artëm Кazantsev: Cool place - beer, games and books...
Matthew Trefilek: Great beers and had a lot of fun at trivia before my flight. Definitely recommend stopping by!

Daniel Graves: I wish I had this store in Brooklyn. Luckily, I do not because I would go bankrupt. Fantastic selection, lovely & knowledgeable staff. The upcoming bar opening should be glorious & it will be my first stop on my next trip to SF
Caitlyn Colman-McGaw: So many great gems and very helpful service.
Ali Hagerty: Incredible selection, wonderful service.
P I: Great shop. Steve is super knowledgeable. Let him guide you. Fair prices for high quality.
michelle mathews: Very sweet owner and amazing selection of Haribo!
Steve Ansell: Best place in North SF to pickup some good craft beer. Steve and Betty run a wonderful little shop and can offer suggestions for any taste.
Isaac Sarabia: Smaller but awesome beer selection! Deep picks with super friendly staff help!
Trevor Bell: Great place to visit. Really nice selection and the employees are nice too! They are temporally closed as of Oct 2 2022
David Murguia: Excellent selection. Having clearance through the month because of a seismic retrofit.Highlights are an excellent stout selection and wine. 6 mix and match is 30 percent off.
mark tondeur: This place rules. Opens at 9am while other liquor stores are still snoozing. Great range of beers, including Russian River which is a bit of a Holy Grail if you are visiting from Europe. Affable and knowledgeable staff are happy to recommend the best brews, and there are beers to suit all pockets - from a few dollars to over a hundred. I only had space in my suitcase for 4 beers, but they were all showstoppers as promised. Do yourself a favour - skip the Buds of this world and get down there for an ale education. Highly recommended.
S K: Nice, cozy and tiny spirits store. On your way into the store you will see a lady behind the register, feel free to ask any questions- she is knowledgeable and always there, i haven't seen any other employees. The store can brag a lot about local and craft beer selection as well imports, accouterments and go-to antipasti and some commodity cheese, but instead keep modest quietness on the corner of Jackson&Webster. I love various half-bottles of different wine represented in the store, not all big grocery stores carry such selection. During the Christmas season the store decorated very nicely with Christmas lights.

Devin Pate: Magnolia is my go to brewery in San Francisco after family outings in the city with the occasional visit to fort point. The customer service is always good and so are the beers. The food is also quality although I do wish the prices were a little bit lower but regardless, very good. They will make haze’s, IPA’s, traditional beers, stouts, porters, you name it they have it. The inside and ambiance are very nice and it does get packed especially on the weekends but thankfully they do have outside seating as well.Highly recommend this brewery and I hope it stays as it’s a staple in the neighborhood.Kid-friendliness: Probably not the most kid friendly as it’s right and no outdoor areas but I will usually sit outside or bring the stroller in and give the kids an IPAD as we enjoy the beers.
Veronica V: In the hippest neighborhood of San Francisco this place has a large room with a typical American menuAll very goodVery friendly and fast staff

Eric Hillje: I stayed at the Bartlett Hotel and checked into my room. I was hungry and started typing for a restaurant near me. No need as the Bartlett Hall is next door. Bring a friend or make one to bring before you go as the portions are giant. The Smashed Barlett Burger is so good. It paired well with some of their own brewed beer. This made for a good day. The staff were knowledgeable and provided fun conversation.
Suren Chelian: Food is… Spectacular!!!
Gail Ann Williams: The brewer won a Medal in an international beer competition and we heard there was a chef’s pairing with that beer. Stopped by last night and thoroughly enjoyed dinner and excellent classy beers from IPAs to Belgian golden to a Quad that was velvety smooth and dessert without being overly sweet. Amazing hidden gem.Recommended dishes Beer Flights, Salad …
