Dance Mission Theater: what do users think?

Cody Smith: Great people running a great program, and the performances are both wonderful and impressive. We're really lucky to have them in the neighborhood!

Zuane Negron: Very nice cozy theater. The place is well maintained. Stairs/elevator. Nice bathrooms. The seats in the theater can use an improvement, but in general. It was a nice place. Very welcoming and respectful people.

Michael Coffin: Good show. Lots of variety. A little heavy on the angst this time, but still very good.

Akshay Jha: I’ve taken their bachata, salsa, hip hop, bhangra over a span of about a year and have enjoyed all of these classes as beginner.

Neguinha Passista: Dance Mission it is a dance studio that is all renovated with a wonderful atmosphere to learn all types of cultural dances. I am Brazilian who teaches a dance class. I teach Samba every week on Wednesdays so come by to see the studio and say hi and let's dance!

Jennifer: Dropped in on a Saturday Hip Hop class…. SO FUN!!!! I’m glad I went. Brandi was a great teacher and I left feeling like hip hop queen!! Go get your dance on here 💃🏻

MaryAnn Patel: Wonderful teachers and amazing vibe. Our family loves their youth camps and classes!!!

Jonthan Rivas: Positive:Professionalism

Laura Pruitt: Fun, growth and solidarity!

Colin Miller: great dance piece by Emma and Paul Lanier

Jerri Grunewald: Very popular place. Took my grandson here for his lesson. They have 2 different facilities across the street from each other.

S. M.: I love this school. I just wished they had more reggaeton classes. Once a week is really not enough.

City Dance Annex: what do users think?

Jenny Xu: Came here for a beginner hip hop class and wow what a good time! Jepoy was an amazing instructor and it was so much fun, it was more of an intermediate level in my opinion, but I picked up the choreo and ended up really liking the song + the vibes and how encouraging the experience was. No one was judged, and the prices were reasonable too. Class is well organized and starts/ends on time.

Harsha Mohan: the best choreo classes in san francisco proper

Cuauhtemoc Ramirez: Very good place to dance and relax with the family who likes the atmosphere,

Manuka Stratta: Christy Coté’s tango class was amazing! Very helpful tips and kind reaching style. The Studio should do a better job of isolating noise/music from the main room though, as it was sometimes hard to hear our music.

Kathryne: There were some different images of the building and it was confusing to me, so I enclosed the photo of the entrance. This studio is very inspiring and atmospheric

Winter Bird: super friendly staff and choreo teachers!

Barry Zhang: Much love for my boy VincentGreat vibe and fantastic teacherIf you’re a beginner go to his classes!

San Francisco Pole and Dance: what do users think?

Béatrice Monat: I’m visiting San Francisco and was looking for a place to work out. Patricia kindly answered all my questions and helped me book my first class this morning. The class was absolutely amazing!! This is the best experience I’ve ever had at a pole studio

Pippi Jones: Absolutely, love this place and the teachers. Very clean and large space with a welcoming atmosphere and knowledge staff.

Patti Weiss: Teachers were great and so helpful.

Nika Sepehri: I started taking Aerial classes for the first time about 9 months ago and I can’t recommend it enough! Deborah has been an amazing instructor, she always makes sure to give instructions that everyone can follow no matter their background in silks, and she is always willing to correct/help you whenever you need it. The SF pole and dance space is very welcoming and friendly, and I always look forward to the next class. Thank you Deborah and SF pole and dance for these amazing classes!

Charles Philpot: Came here for some classes when I was on holiday and it was amazing. Lovely receptionist, lovely studio and instructors. Poles are so so so tall, gorgeous mirrors and good flooring. Highly recommend!

Mama Tety: AND super strong. The best part is I was able to get a trick that I hadn’t been able to do before. She broke it down in a way that really made sense to me. Yay!!

Sarah Hersey: is a knockout and has been instrumental in guiding me here. She is extremely knowledgeable and so kind as an instructor, and I love bringing friends who are pole-curious to her beginning classes. And Yoko! Yoko's choreo classes keep me dancing in my seat all week. Get yourself to her class asap! I love bringing friends who have their heel legs to Yoko's flow classes, they are so much fun, and Yoko's choreography is absolutely gorgeous.Thank you SFP&D for the amazing, safe and beautiful space. And thank you to the amazing teachers who give us their time!

Jessica Nicolet: I’m not sure words can adequately express how much I love this studio and the people who make up its community! From the first time I walked into the SF studio I felt supported and safe to explore and learn, no matter how little experience I came in with, how I looked or who I was. I have absolutely fallen in love with pole dancing and so much of that is due to the amazing community and its phenomenal teachers and staff!I especially want to shout out:Karina for being the best hype-woman there is at 8:30 on a Tuesday morning and being an absolute joy to learn from!Christy is my pole mama and I have learned so much from her in the past 11 months- from the way she breaks down moves into manageable pieces, conditions the sh*t out of you, and cheers you on relentlessly.Maddie is truly masterful with her choreography and made it so easy to pick up the sequence when a group of us did the Fall showcase, and made me feel so badass doing it too.TLDR: every teacher here is supportive, encouraging, and genuinely invested in their students’ success, whatever that looks like for each individual. This studio is incredible, try out a class- you won’t be disappointed!

JR: Jenna is incredibly welcoming at the front desk! Classes with Kyra, Lisa, and Maddie are always INSANELY fun and they really make me feel good about myself! LOVE them!!

Lindsay Dilworth: I love this studio and these people! Classes are fun and challenging--a good workout without feeling like a workout, plus great music. Daisy is my favorite choreo teacher, love the slow flow 333

Michael Tepper: I had the chance to attend a student showcase tonight and wanted to thank Jenna who was working in the front desk for making the check in process so easy! I was a little lost going up trying to find the location but was welcomed by the friendly host and checked into the event smoothly. Thank you!

Elena Vaskovskaia: I’ve been going to this studio for almost a year now, and I totally love everything about it: cool and trendy space, friendly atmosphere, wide variety of classes to choose from, but most importantly — amazing and knowledgeable instructors!!I would especially recommend any of the Os’s classes— he is always extra-attentive to all the details, breaking down the material to such small pieces that your progress, safe for your body, is guaranteed!

Gaby Rosales: I really love Mae Mae's classes. She explains the exercises and tricks in detail so you know exactly how to move. You get better each time!

Mutya Mithi Del Rosario: I also love Aby's style of dancing so much that I've started taking private classes with her regularly, in addition to her Heels Choreo classes. She has really helped me build my strength and my confidence in pole! She is great at correcting me and teaching me good technique, and she is always cheering me on. :

Phiphi Cupcake: She's also super encouraging and she has such fun and positive energy!
