Absinthe Brasserie & Bar: what do users think?

Michael Dvorkin: A great place for a cocktail, a glass of wine and a fantastic meal. The menu is amazing. The food is delicious. Even the simplest dishes are executed to perfection tion with a special twist. Love this place

Swaila Rasoully: My husband and I are visiting from Upstate NY and this restaurant was recommended by my cousin who lives here. The ambiance was chic and romantic, the food was delicious, and the service was great! Our waiter was helpful and answered any questions we had. It was my first time having French food and escargot, I enjoyed it very much! We had a lovely evening.

Morgan Jane: because I think the quality of service has slipped. We recently went there for my birthday with a couple friends and we ordered a bottle of champagne. The server brought the bottle, had us look at it, then opened it and poured everyone a small glass, but the champagne wasn't cold. It put me in the awkward position of letting them know it wasn't cold and asking for an ice bucket with a lot of ice so we could chill it. I'm not a fancy snob, but at a nicer restaurant like Absinthe I feel like if you order a $100 bottle of champagne it should at least be served cold; the server should have realized when they touched it that it wasn't cold. It was a bummer because we had to wait a long time for the bottle to get cold enough to drink, so all four of us sat there during apps without drinks which is no fun. A few of us ordered cocktails. Eventually we got impatient so we ended up drinking it while it was still kind of warm. This felt to me like a sign that they don't care as much about the customer experience as they used to. I'll go back of course, but I'm going to wait a while as this left a bad taste in my mouth

Mikkeller Bar SF: what do users think?

Chase Evans: Seems like a friendly atmosphere to try some various beers and food. Just don't come here if you don't intend to drink. I went to get a bite to eat with some buddies after a late night of drinking, so we weren't really feeling like drinking that night. Waitress made a comment about us being the first non-alcohol order all night which then led to the rest of that interaction being a bit weird. They have their own house soda which comes in 3 flavors. I respect some good house-made sodas but they weren't for me. After the interaction with the waitress, we just felt awkward for being there as we didn't see that waitress again that night. We were helped by the guy who delivered our food for the rest of the night. The food was good though, no complaints there.I'm sure if you are intending to drink, you'll fit right in. Maybe it was just an off night for them.

Nele Van den Broeck: The setting of this bar is great. We initially passed it by accident and it is not exactly in the nicest neighborhood, but once inside you don't notice anything from the outside of course. There is an incredible amount of choice on tap, so I recommend using the Untapped app, where they also regularly update their menu. This gives you an easier overview of their beer offering. The food was also great, I had the burger with fries and it was delicious. If you are a beer lover, you should definitely pop in here!

Kevin Chang: This is the bar with the most similar operation except the main branch in Copenhagen, and the staff is very friendly. You must try the signature geek shake coffee beer!!

Dawn Miller: Great atmosphere

Marcus Lee: Mikkeller was recommended by my Danish friends, it is a Danish brand, hence the Danish cartoon and industrial decorations. Always good beers, I love sour beers, so this is my happy place. Burgers and fries are always good with beer drinking. Prices are fair. The location is so central, that makes Mikkeller a good place for after work drink, quick bite when visiting from out of town, or friends get-together, as they have some large tables to commentate. I go to Mikkeller whenever I feel like it, and I feel like it a lot.

Brandon Ozard: Lot's of tasty beer 😀Service was good.Food was okay.

Chile Lindo Empanadas: what do users think?

Philip Behn: These are legitimate Chilean empanadas. Not the deep-fried stuff from Argentina, but the real oven-baked empanada with organic beef from Marin County, olives, raisins and onions. Delicious!! Paula, the owner, is meticulous about ingredients and quality. And she’s super fun to talk with if you find her at her store location. Don’t be deterred by the location - this is high quality stuff. We’re huge fans!!

Wayne Chang: Food: 5/5

Prachi Gupta: Empanadas were good maybe a little costly

Cristian Jara-Figueroa: I’m Chilean, and I can vouch this place has legit authentic Chilean empanadas. I’m so happy this place is here! Eating their empanadas brought me back to my college days in Chile, eating the empanadas sold by “tio chaparra” while running to my next lecture.Dine in: No Outdoor seating: No Takeout: Yes …

Paulo C. Ortega: The empanadas are so good whenever I can I stop by to grab some because the smell and the way are made it bring me back to my Chile querido
