Brock: Thoughtfully curated collection of books and a history that is as colorful as it is rich. What more could you ask for? Oh and I nearly forgot to mention the lovely gentleman at the front desk who watched our son’s stroller for us as we shopped/toured. 11/10 would recommend.

Joe Pfister: Nice place great selection

Dylan Gallagher: A very large and organized bookstore; Great customer service. A cafe inside. They have a wide range of reading options. Color rooms. You can find something for someone. paid parking; Depending on when you go, finding parking can be a challenge. I went mid-week and it wasn't bad. It was blocked from the entrance. There are also souvenirs available for purchase on site. 10/10 recommend.

Virginie Morel: 超級友好,超級樂於助人!

Chris Santarelli: This was a fantastic store with lots of books options. They had something for everyone. They had a lot of books on sale as well and collections from popular writers. They had sections that were based on San Francisco which was very cool. Really enjoyed the place. Staff was very friendly and helpful

Rebecca Clarke: My favourite bookstore in the WORLD!!I love Bill's recommendations and have enjoyed so many excellent books over the years that I would've missed otherwise! My recent purchase:

Kaylina Brianna Al-Nashaar: Love this bookstore! All the employees are wonderful and helpful. Always giving the best book’s recommendations!

Rikki Markson: Great book store, a highlight is that one of the employees draws gorgeous little cartoons at the checkout for kids, based on the books they are buying

Chloe S: everyone is so nice and the store is cute

Page Smith: One of the employees here, an older man, recommended me a nonfiction book. His pitch was so good that I ended up buying it, and it ended up being one of my favorite books of all time! I'm usually not a fan of new bookstores, but Books Inc has great stuff on sale and is always a pleasant visit. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the marina.

Bird & Beckett Books & Records: what do users think?

Juan Ca: A treasure hidden in fog. We come here for kids books and the bookstore feel. It's cozy and comfortable.

Glen Thomas: Very peaceful spot with friendly management. But books here and go to their jazz shows!

Annette A Aguilar: Best in books and music

Darryl Diptee: . May want to call ahead to get your name on the list for entry, just in case as it's limited seating. A very unique experience, great for a date night ☺️

Stuart Fitzgerald: Best books & best live jazz. A San Francisco staple. The whole operation is run by Eric. One of the nicest human beings you will ever encounter.

Jon MacLellan: Attended a jazz tribute concert. Amazing host. Book store is a staple of the community.

malavika: one of the best places in the neighborhood. lovely bookstore that hosts live music performances mostly open to everyone. such a treasure!will highly recommending getting your books here to support an amazing local business!

Jeff: Is it unfair to rate a bookstore that I've only visited after hours? Not if it's to review world-class jazz at said bookstore! My wife & I saw the Joe McKinley quartet last week and it was a fantastic experience. As a band, you have to be tight if you're going to play in a bookstore because the acoustics are so intimate. No reverb to cover up mistakes, and these guys were top-notch. They played some standards and some originals, and it was all great stuff.

Justin Chiang: great collection, lovely store

Julia Selker: I am a seasoned bookstore tourist. I have never had such a transcendental hour at a bookstore. They have an expertly balanced selection of old friends and new discoveries all organized in a perfect orientation for extended browsing while live music enhances the atmosphere. Live music! Shelves not overcrowded but still pleasantly abundant, with mysterious extra piles in little corners. Brilliant and effective - will transport you entirely.

Marilyn Sullivan: Wonderful bookstore, and jazz too!

Stanley Pollack: Great little venue for great jazz musicians. Respectful audience. Eric is the consummate host.

Suvrajit Saha: Charming book store with some of the best live jazz in the city....a true hidden gem 💎

Andrew Peterson: Dense book shop with jazz many evenings. Neighborhood vibe.

Book Passage Bookstore & Cafe: what do users think?

Ken Wilkes: Incredible book store.

Tam D: I am often there. If you stop by to have a coffee or tea and look at the books, you will enjoy yourself. This is a peaceful place in a very good and safe location. Total wine is close, and I like to check their wine selection. As a wine enthusiast, this place is ideal. New books, used books, kids books and coffee break, nothing better.A latte is healthy for you from what I learned. It has antioxidants, protein and calcium and it tastes delicious.

Franklin Young: A true full service Bookstore with friendly and knowledgeable staff. It has a large section on Travel with guides and accessories like converter plugs and small bags. It offers also a small section of well-curated used Books. In addition, it features "meet the author" programs 2-3 times a month. A real gem!

William MacDougall: Nice cozy atmosphere. Helpful staff. But, their sci-fi section was small.

Patrick D.: Very Good "Old School" bookstore that will reignite or kindle a love of reading. Worth a walk through anytime.

Aliza Felix: Very helpful, knowledgeable, accommodating, and efficient staff when it comes to finding a book and ordering. It's one of my favorite local book stores. Always enjoy the used book section. Café is a great spot, too!

Mary: Wonderful independent bookstore with helpful and informative staff.

Erica Björnsson: Outstanding selection!

John McCory: Always knowledgeable staff and they consistently have what I'm looking for
