Lynn Allen: Love the staff and always a good experience for me donating here. I love that they give a cholesterol count and that I get a text later when my blood gets sent out to help someone. I know it鈥檚 frustrating when it doesn鈥檛 go smoothly or timely, been there, but hope that doesn鈥檛 deter donation which truly saves lives.

Melissa Hong: I had the same experience as another reviewer. Made an appointment for whole blood donation, showed up on time, and was encouraged to reschedule due to understaffing. The people I talked to were very kind and apologetic. They gave me a free T-shirt, though I feel like a fraud since I didn't get poked. With all the messages about the "critical need for blood", it seems its not a critical need for donors, rather their capacity to take donations, at least here. I'm trying a different location tomorrow.

A. S.: Come early or come whenever you want to help save lives. Your blood donation makes our system of care work. Think of it as paying your karma forward. If nobody donated, there would be no blood to save your life when tragedy strikes. These folks are friendly and nice. A bit overworked which leads to longer waits towards the end of the day.

Andre Johnson: Great experience I had donating plasma in San Pablo. Everyone was very friendly, professional and helpful with information that was important. The staff made me feel very comfortable and valued. The process was smooth getting through the registration and physical and the videos that explained how important plasma is in science research in development of medicine and how it's use to save many lives gave me a since patriotism.

Hien Huynh: I got a little lightheaded and nauseous towards the end of my first donation. Staff gave me a barf bag, elevated my feet, placed an ice pack behind my neck and started fanning me. I immediately felt better and was able to complete my donation.

Lisa Brown: Kathy, Robert, and everyone really are awsome, professional and very caring. They really make you feel special!! I will continue to donate at the San Pablo location because of them. I am a healthier person because of the information they give me. I allways learn something new about my body when I go. And I know I'm giving back to someone who could be suffering in need of plasma. When I started donating it was a little scary, but because of these ladies, and the guys, I feel great when I donate and confident!!
