Mikkeller Bar SF: what do users think?

Chase Evans: Seems like a friendly atmosphere to try some various beers and food. Just don't come here if you don't intend to drink. I went to get a bite to eat with some buddies after a late night of drinking, so we weren't really feeling like drinking that night. Waitress made a comment about us being the first non-alcohol order all night which then led to the rest of that interaction being a bit weird. They have their own house soda which comes in 3 flavors. I respect some good house-made sodas but they weren't for me. After the interaction with the waitress, we just felt awkward for being there as we didn't see that waitress again that night. We were helped by the guy who delivered our food for the rest of the night. The food was good though, no complaints there.I'm sure if you are intending to drink, you'll fit right in. Maybe it was just an off night for them.

Nele Van den Broeck: The setting of this bar is great. We initially passed it by accident and it is not exactly in the nicest neighborhood, but once inside you don't notice anything from the outside of course. There is an incredible amount of choice on tap, so I recommend using the Untapped app, where they also regularly update their menu. This gives you an easier overview of their beer offering. The food was also great, I had the burger with fries and it was delicious. If you are a beer lover, you should definitely pop in here!

Kevin Chang: This is the bar with the most similar operation except the main branch in Copenhagen, and the staff is very friendly. You must try the signature geek shake coffee beer!!

Dawn Miller: Great atmosphere

Marcus Lee: Mikkeller was recommended by my Danish friends, it is a Danish brand, hence the Danish cartoon and industrial decorations. Always good beers, I love sour beers, so this is my happy place. Burgers and fries are always good with beer drinking. Prices are fair. The location is so central, that makes Mikkeller a good place for after work drink, quick bite when visiting from out of town, or friends get-together, as they have some large tables to commentate. I go to Mikkeller whenever I feel like it, and I feel like it a lot.

Brandon Ozard: Lot's of tasty beer 😀Service was good.Food was okay.

E. L.: I went with my best friend and we just had the best time. Even though we went early to avoid the crowds, they kindly put us in a little nook so it felt like we had our own little space. We really enjoyed the fried chicken and you can't go wrong with their duck fat fries. We had Elaine for our server and she really was just absolutely fantastic and made sure we were taken care of the entire time even when the crowds started coming in. Highly recommend!

J Faull: Recommend making a reservation if you want to sit inside with the plants. They had room for walk-ins on the patio area outside, which I preferred since it was loud inside. Cocktails & food were delicious!!!Vegetarian options: Mushroom risotto was really good & they can do it vegan if you ask!

JOÃO GILBERTO no mundo: I'm suspicious every day I go there to have my coffee, the friendliness of Miguel, his wife and Nicole has always rubbed off on me, it's the place where I drink my coffee in the style that Brazilian people do, it's a very good Brazilian coffee made and freshly ground and not strong. How I like it. And on the weekends there is also delicious self-service food, including Brazilian feijoada, I recommend it... It's always very good. See the timetables. Take a look there, even if just to check it out. They even opened on Memorial Day and as always I stopped by to have my coffee and snacks, it's worth the visit! quality, clean. Good service, friendly and cheerful staff, there's even a German woman who doesn't know how to make beer, but she makes coffee and believe me, it's very good.I'm suspicious every day I go there to have my coffee, the friendliness of Miguel, his wife and Nicole has always rubbed off on me, it's the place where I drink my coffee in the style that Brazilian people do, it's a very good Brazilian coffee made and freshly ground and not strong. Corina Lange: have I gotten açaí this good and fresh. I enjoyed it very much, and each bite left me wanting more. Can’t wait to come back for another bowl and maybe a pastry or two next time!

Chris Tan: . All those elements blend together perfectly into this quaint cafe with plenty of seating to boot.BRASIL NÚMERO 1 CAMPEÃO PENTAAAAAA 🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🏆🏆🏆

Rafa Rodriguez: Recommended dishes Coxinha

Paulo Filho: that are delicious. Make sure to come here when they come out fresh. They’re also home made. If you’re craving something more summer try their delicious açaí.The mission is lucky to have this coffee shop around. Owner is super friendly and welcoming.

Zach Sarsoza: Delicious pão de queijo, absolutely demolished it. Clean and nice interior. They not only offer Brazilian pastries and food but also have Brazilian products ranging from biscuits to hot sauces.Coffee paired with their pastries 👌

JP G: I really like what they did with this cafe. They made it even more hospitable and there are many places to sit. The addition of the hot food buffet is a really great idea. I miss the buffet at another place on Valencia that closed down years ago. The food was really good and moderately priced for SF. I had a nice portion for about $15-16. Had rice, tri-tip and chicken stroganoff and the toppings of a little bit of a salsa and farofa was really nice too. It was a good place to sit and eat without having to have a huge crowd or to wait for staff. Like the predecessors they also have coffee and Brazilian snacks such as pão de queijo, kibe and all the good street foods of Brazil and some pantry staples available for purchase.

Shivakumar R: Lovely decor and retro feel of this place . Good service and great food especially breakfast and staff were friendly. Really loved the vibe of this placeTry their world famous pan cakesRecommended dishes Toast, Pancake, Swedish Pancakes …

Chandler Taylor: Went here for dinner with a group of 6 - 7 after being at an Expo and had a great time. We were visiting from Charlotte, NC and ever loved the food. We had multiple bottles of wine, apps, and food. We had a reservation and we were seated pretty quickly and our waiter was great. Hands down the best chowder I have ever had so you must try it. Being from Charlotte I’m not use to calamari that is fresh like it was at Sear’s. This is definitely a place everyone should try.
