Janet Camacho: Had my first surf lesson even today and Alyssa was so patient and kind. You can tell she really enjoys surfing and is happy to pass her knowledge onto others. She has a calming energy which is helpful when going out into the waves. Still can't believe I was able to ride my first few waves ever, and it was all with her help! I would definitely enjoy having her as my instructor once again!
jennifer leising: We had a family surf lesson with Julia S. during our visit to San Diego. With 4 of us, all varying in age and ability, we were so thankful for the attention she was able to provide each of us during our 4 person session and look forward to reconnecting with her on future visits! It was a great way to spend a day. The school itself made the experience seamless as well. We completed our intake forms before arrival, making it quicker to get right down to learning. The equipment provided was in great shape and there was a locker available for personal items at the shop, and a safe place at the water for our towels and clothes. It was a great experience all around.
Michael St George: Our instructor Evan was great, really patient made sure we caught as many waves as possible.
Sonya Williams: Had an amazing surf lesson with a friend and our instructor Paul. Great instructor, we learned a lot and had a blast.

Edelmira Y: Alyssa was great! She was super nice, patient, and she exudes her passion for surfing! Also, her eyes reflect the ocean. 🌊The staff were pretty helpful and chill.Reservations were easy. Google had conflicting info for location but their text messages made it easy to know where to go.There’s a place to park your bikes if you want to ride in. It’s super close to food and beer if you want to fuel up after getting knocked around by waves and building up your courage to ride them!

Jared Becker: I found a helpful staff when i called to reserve my first lesson: they recommended times with more optimal surf conditions and answered questions about logistics easily. I met with Eli for my lesson and found him adept at creating a safe and enjoyable experience around my skill level. He insisted on good technique and safety. Hope to have another class in the future!

Bryan Smith: Renato was a great instructor. He was super good instructing my 10 year old son who had never tried surfing. Renato was personable, funny, very supportive, and just an all around great teacher. I wasn’t sure if my son would be able to get up on the board but he was within 4 or 5 tries, and then learned some additional techniques. Highly recommend.
The Joy Bubble: . All while coordinating with lifeguards & keeping a watchful eye. I was blown away by the communication with each other & even spectating parents. PS: it was BLAZING hot & they were this graceful while being sun-beaten. Special shout out to Renato & Muirean who went above & beyond to make my kid’s experience a success, thank you!
Sara Hart: Renne was AWESOME! He was very attentive and helped our whole family catch waves. We had a blast!
