The park is located 4.5 miles south of the city of Coronado on Highway 75, on the sand-spit that forms the outer edge of San Diego Bay between Coronado and Imperial Beach.
**Dogs are only allowed** in the parking lots and RV campground. They are **not allowed** on the beach or bayside.
Camping reservations can be made through **Reserve California** at reservecalifornia.com or by calling 1-800-444-7275. Reservations can be made as soon as the same day or up to 6 months in advance, based on availability.
Camping is available for **self-contained recreational vehicles, motorhomes, or trailers only**, per Coastal Commission regulations. The minimum requirements are a **running water system** and a **flushable toilet with holding tank**. Vehicles not meeting the minimum requirements will be turned away.
Day use fees are **$12 - $20** (demand-based pricing). A valid **California Explorer Vehicle Day Use Annual Pass** or **California State Park Adventure Pass** can be used for day use as well.
