This golf course is unanimously rated the No. 1 Public Course in the Country.
This course will host four future U.S. Opens in 2027, 2032, 2037, and 2044, as well as four future U.S. Women's Opens in 2023, 2035, 2040, and 2048.
The PGA TOUR visits this course every February for the AT&T Pro-Am, a tradition that began in 1947.
The 7th hole is designed by Jack Nicklaus and opened for play in 1998. The green feeds from front-left to back-right, and beware of the bunker behind the green that cuts into the putting surface more than it appears from the tee.
The 17th hole is an iconic hourglass-shaped green that can play 15 yards longer or shorter depending on the pin placement. The traditional Sunday U.S. Open hole location is back-left, where Jack Nicklaus famously hit the flag with a 1-iron and Tom Watson chipped in.
