The campground is located just off of Highway 1 to the west, at the corner of Moss Landing Road and Sandholdt Road. It's situated in a quiet fishing village centered on the Monterey Bay.
You can take a scenic nature tour through the Elkhorn Slough National Estuarine Research Reserve, one of California's largest coastal wetlands. You can also catch one of the daily whale-watching cruises out of the harbor right next door. Additionally, you can enjoy the beautiful beach and many delightful restaurants within a few minutes' walk.
The campground only allows fully self-contained RVs with water, electric, and sewer connections. The vehicle must have been originally manufactured as an RV. No tents, car camping, passenger vehicles, cargo trailers, or converted vans/trailers are allowed.
All sites are back-in and have full hookups. Most sites have both 50 and 30-amp electrical. The campground is quiet, clean, and friendly, with great hosts who are always willing to help.
