One bit of constructive feedback. The medical assistant who "roomed' me had someone shadowing her, but he introduced himself nor did the MA tell me who he was. It was probably an intern or medical assistant in training.. but sure would have appreciated someone saying something. That said, it I was really bothered, I would have asked 'who are you?'

I found Dr. Kelada to be energetic, intelligent, compassionate, and she took care of my concerns. She is a great listener and her approach to the doctor/patient relationship is spot on. I am so lucky to have found her!!

My appointments have never felt rushed, and I leave feeling heard and understood. He also sees babies and children. Definitely check them out. They're awesome!
V Fuller: Coming from an RN background and daily working with physicians, I can definitely state Dr. Kelada and his medical student were some of the most thorough and attentive doctors I've ever met. During this stressful time in my life, they went above and beyond figuring out how to help me, including a modified office ultrasound.True, the front desk and insurance lady was a bit terse with me but I suppose my company's admin not processing my insurance correctly in UMR didn't help..
Macy Brown: Dr. Kelada is a Saint. Anyone with a thyroid disease knows how hard you have to advocate for yourself and how hard it is to be taken seriously. Dr. Kelada is the exception. He always listens to me. He never dismisses any of my concerns. He goes over every option available with me and we decide how to proceed together. He makes it a team process, which is the way a patient and doctor dynamic should work. It gives me so much peace of mind knowing that he is my doctor. Even when I am in excruciating pain he never fails to make me laugh and keep my spirits up. This is hands down the best doctor I have ever had, and that is saying a lot because I had the same primary from birth until I was 19. Thank you for being such a great physician Dr. Kelada! As for the rest of the staff, Priscilla is always on point. She calls me back right away and always makes time to help me. Pam is on top of helping me with the few times my insurance or the pharmacy give me a hard time. The medical assistants are always so so nice and cheery. I love this office.

She makes a personal connection with her patients, looks them in the eye, and gets to know the person, not just their symptoms. It is so comforting to be able to get a QUICK answer when I email. I can't praise Dr. Calkins and her staff enough. They go above and beyond and their customer service is commendable. I am truly in their debt and so thankful to them all.

Sarah Barone: After reading previous reviews, I was not expecting much from my first appointment. I am very happy to say that I had a terrific experience with this Wellspace office, and NP Alice Liu. I was checked in quickly, waited less than 10 mins, and had each and every one of my questions and concerns addressed. I cannot yet speak to how quickly this office handles referrals, but given how smoothly my appointment went, and how organized the nurses and office staff appeared, I am sure that my ongoing needs will be addressed appropriately. Thank you Wellspace!
Natalie Ramirez: It鈥檚 been 7 months waiting for 2 surgeries and now Medi-Cal has changed my insurance policy weeks before my 1st surgery date. It took 5 referrals just to find a surgeon who could perform my surgery. It took almost 2 months to be seen. A lot of this was Nivano and Medi-cal, however, Dr. McGee and the medical professionals here at least try to treat me like a human even though it seems I shall never be fixed. I truly believe the systems and processes are to blame for this providers less than expedited services. This is a higher management problem. Whoever is running the systems and processes for managing patient care should be fired.

Betty Olson: Its difficult to put into words what people have already said about Dr. King. I suffered with extreme chronic nerve pain associated with CRPS/RSD. After being a science experiment to several doctors... Dr. King diagnosed and helped me manage most of my pain in ONE SINGLE DAY. If your looking for a Doctor that'll treat you like a human and not a case, He's your guy. Caring, compassionate, humorous, and simply just a wonderful human. He's defiantly been the "miracle" I've been praying for with this diagnoses!!!P.S. He's worth more than 5 stars!

I was involved in an auto accident in 1999, and suffered multiple injuries. After being tossed around to several doctors, I found myself needing a new doctor and no one willing to take on my case as it is so complicated. By the grace of God Dr. King agreed to see me. He has ran tests that I've never heard of. He suspected I had things going on with me that no one ever knew, And he was right. He doesn't stop until he figures it out. He never over books himself to where you have to wait long for your appointments. He has done so much more for me in the few short months that I have been seeing him than any doctor has done for me in the past 18 years.if you're in need of a doctor and want one that goes way above and beyond, Dr. King is your man.
