Sara Collins: We went in for an afternoon tasting at Dry Diggings Distillery and absolutely loved it. This was only the second distillery we'd been to and it was honestly eons better than our first experience. Erica was the woman leading our tasting and she did a great job. She is super knowledgeable about all of their products and was able to answer all of our questions about the distilling industry in California. My partner and I both got the "Bar Cart" tasting - sampling a variety of their spirits.Honestly, when I go somewhere for a tasting I'm not generally much of a conversion person, but it was so natural to talk with Erica and I felt like she was really providing the information I wanted to hear. I loved how highly she talked of other distilleries in Northern California - it really felt like Dry Diggings was a community establishment that wanted to increase visibility of the distilling community as a whole, and she provided so many awesome recommendations of other places we could check out if we had a great time.Yes, of course the alcohol is more expensive than the stuff you'd buy on the bottom shelf of Total Wine, but reviews complaining about that feel out of touch. This is a small, local, craft distillery that is distilling alcohol that is fantastic and not like anything you'd get anywhere else! It's absolutely worth the price and they are very forthright about their tasting prices and the fact that they do not waive the tasting cost with bottle purchase on their website. I highly recommend going in for a tasting!

Especially after your experience all that they have to offer. Their selections are top shelf incredible. Their staff are amazing. Especially that Ryan Racz guy. He helped me with making my first selection. Delicious Rye. That other gal was the absolute best. Erica. About the same age as that Ryan character. Can't help but smile when in conversation with her. If you want amazing product at amazing process from an amazing company staffed by amazing people, this is the place to go. Allen Todd: We really liked this place. I've heard some good things about J.J. Pfisters Distilling Co from friends. We went there on a recommendation, and we were pleasantly surprised to find one of my favorite local musicians was playing. Shout out to Rivvrs, a great artist. They seem to have live music on Friday and Saturdays.This is a distillery, and their focus is spirits. I'm not a fan of spirits or mixed drinks, but my wife is. She enjoyed the Island Mule. They do offer Craft Beers from Movement Brewery, one of my favorite local Brewery.My wife had the taco bowl, and it was delicious. I had the turkey club, and it was also delicious. I am looking forward to trying their other plates.Overall, the atmosphere was very comfortable, and the staff seemed knowledgeable and attentive. We will definitely be back.

So that was an 8.. Again not them, but me.And my husband had the Kimmies winter punch and that was a 9.We took a menu and marked it off.. We plan to work through all the drinks

Caitlin O'Halloran Hellar: We went with a group of friends on a Saturday night and had a great time! The drinks looked and tasted great and they were very reasonably priced. The food was above average - our group tried everything from the salmon to the burger to the tots and everyone left happy!As a bonus we got a distillery tour from Corey - he obviously loves his job and gave us lots of great insight about the production and the business.There was live music - and in all honestly, it was decidedly mediocre - but it didn't detract from our great experience.Highly recommend!

patrick reilly: Midtown Spirits is one of the best places in Sac. Indoor/outdoor seating, AMAZING FOOD, the best staff in the city! Seriously everything in this place is a must have.Their vodkas and gins are hands down the best ever. Their seasonal Gins are also soooooooooo good.The brunch or lunch/dinner food is amazing. Possibly the best french fries in the world! Their chef is rrally onto somrthing good here. Impressed at EVERY DISH ive had and ive almost had them all!

Tieler Merel: This place was really great. I had a white linen and the drink was very good. Unfortunately someone at my table got the flight during there April flight. The Brunch Punch I DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL! If you can get it switched with something else do it because I wouldn’t suggest that at all. Cereal milk and vodka, not the best combo if you ask me.

cellar surfer: I have been living in Roseville for almost 2 years and recently fell in love with Monk’s Cellar. The location downtown is ideal and the staff is super friendly. I have been on a Saison kick as of late inspired by their knowledgeable bartenders and their friendly brewmaster. The owners are typically here on weekday afternoons and very friendly. In my humble opinion they have a really great music selection playing as well. This is a great place to cap off the workday with laptop and a pint along with their happy hour menu. The lunch menu is great too. I will be recruiting my friends to meetup here as often as possible.

He was very informative and willing to help. Walked through my recipe with me and made suggestions, and that batch turned out excellent. He is always available by phone to answer my questions and help as I fumble with my new system.

Christoph Schopfer: The only place I go for all my beer making supplies. They have recipes ready to go and can grind the grain however you like it. Just made an amazing IPA from one of their recipes. Super glad we have a place like this in town.

Ryan Kale: This is the only homebrew store I've ever visited so I have nothing to compare it to. However, with how great my experiences have been here it'll probably be the last one I go to as long as I live in the area. Patrick is great, he's knowledgeable and passionate and will gladly talk beer and brewing with you for hours if you have the time. Roy is also great but I don't see him as often so I don't know him quite as well, I heard he's the mead and wine guy if you need help with that.With large purchases they typically seem to price match Morebeer's online prices and make it really easy to shop local instead of online. I'm a homebrewer and an assistant brewer in a local brewery and I love having this store in our town
