Keep It Real: I was in need of a Mobile scooter that was light in weight and folded easily. He wad demonstrating it as I walked in. They have a great selection and John was very knowledgeable and very helpful. The one I want is somewhat pricey but I will more than likely get it. The best thing that Turks offers for me is they will work on everything they sell. Which means I won't have to ship anything, it's all done in-house if it happens to need any repair. Hopefully not. It's in Carmichael...Garfield/Auburn Street.

After are daughter we put it away for a year, then she became pregnant again so we broke it out again and no problems with the scooter. So after my son was born that was it. Very friendly customer service.

Jon Vilhauer: My wife needs a medical bed — one that raises and lowers with an electric motor. I visited Life Care because it seemed to be the only nearby business that deals in that sort of thing. Helen, the owner, was extremely helpful. She explained that they don’t routinely lease or rent beds like that but told me exactly where to find what I needed and who I should talk to. She was really nice and put my worries to rest. If you need medical or convalescent care equipment of any sort I can’t recommend Life Care too highly.

Four Freedoms Reimagined: I bought a lift chair all based on my phone call with the amazing Nancy. I was a couple of days out of surgery and needed a recliner to heal in. Nancy was super helpful and sent me texts of the inventory of chairs. She also gave us a great deal on my recliner and it arrived soon after. When I’m better I hope to visit the store and say hello. Such a great shopping experience!
