Edana Gentry: A Diamond in The RoughI am enthusiastically recommending “Stepping Stones Private Education Association” to families with young kiddos who are looking for a superior quality educational program & day care-in-one that does not go along with the status quo. The environment and culture of the school resembles a family atmosphere, instead of a stuffy corporate institution. I was skeptical that such a program could even exist in the Roseville area, and I was cautious about getting my kids into something initially, I felt so vulnerable as I hunted around for daycares for my little one and preschools for my oldest, making numerous phone calls and emails before I found them.Now that we have been attending for close to a year, I can safely say that this program has far and away exceeded our hopes and expectations! My 2 kids, ages 2 and 5, look forward to going in the morning and are reluctant to get in the car when I come at pick up time in the evening. The teachers are given the autonomy to draw upon their own experience and training to develop a great curriculum that WORKS for the students in front of them, instead of mechanically performing duties enforced by management. My high-needs five year old is clearly thriving in Ms. Angela’s classroom where daily themed sensory bins were part of the morning stations and a “safe space” with fidgets was created for kiddos to regulate and calm their bodies if emotions ran high.In the toddler room, where my two year old spends his time, he learns how to clean up after himself and smiles with delight while doing the “pre-academics” which can include ingenious craft activities. Ms. Lorie the owner is onsite daily and is very receptive to feedback and shows genuine concern and care for all of the children and her staff. All aspects of the program demonstrate that the staff are keenly sensitive to the child's needs, and honors them as individuals. Additionally, they have great technology features such as an onsite camera system and an app that updates parents regularly with photos of kiddos participating in their awesome activities.I cannot overstate the massive positive impact that the Stepping Stones program has had on my kids and I am confident that these foundational learning experiences and relationships will set them up for a life-time of success.

DJ: This is one of the best and affordable childcare and preschool in the Sacramento area. It has been more than two years my kids are going to this school. For me, it is like a family, where I can trust and have a piece of mind, while I am at work. They have a wonderful infant, toddler and preschool programs and all the teachers are just amazing. They also have extra activities such as gymnastics, dance and soccer lessons, which are optional.Overall, this school is awesome! Great staff, clean facility, and an all-around nurturing environment. I would highly recommend this place, if anybody is looking for a daycare nearby here.We are just truly grateful for Ms. Lorie and her team for the excellent job they are doing…

Lorie the owner of this daycare is just simply awesome.. she really does put her heart running this place. All the teachers are really great . My kid loves going here . They have great programs during the day like Gymnastics, Dance, Soccer which are optional. Their outdoor play area is phenomenal..The place is clean and well organized. Just love it ..i only wish i had found this place earlier so even my older daughter could have gone here.

As our car passes the fire station on Roseville Parkway and the building becomes visible, he puts his arms in the air and yells, "yay!" Not joking!Lucas loves his teachers and friends! Stepping Stones is a wonderful choice for our family and we would recommend them to anyone!

Shannon Grace: Our children have been with Miss Lorie for 3 years now and we couldn't be happier. We started out with her at her preschool in Auburn and when we found out she was moving to Roseville to take over a bigger facility we had no doubts that we would follow her. She is by far one of the most genuine, caring, loving, creative, fun and down right amazing people we've ever known. We found out that our son has sensory processing disorder and we owe it all to her. After multiple tests and behavior issues with our son we were at a loss for what was going on with him and weren't getting very much feedback from dr.'s. It was through Miss Lorie's knowledge, experience, creativity, and loving heart that she suggested what she thought might be the issue and sure enough she was dead on. Instead of getting frustrated and giving up on our son as most preschools would, she loved him just the same, treated him no different than the other children and really dedicated her own time to help us figure out how to help him. Since we were able to intervene at such a young age our son has made tremendous progress in a short amount of time and now has barley any signs of sensory integration issues. No words will ever be enough to thank her and the impact she and her preschool has had on our son. The other staff, Miss Laura, Miss Tammy, Miss Angela and Miss Delores are just as great. They are all just as dedicated, loving and caring. I highly recommend this preschool to anyone looking for the most affordable and beyond best care around. We feel truly blessed to have our children in the care of stepping stones preschool.

If there’s ever an issue the staff has always been receptive and quick to address any concerns. My youngest has been here since she was around 10 months, is now 2, and has built some great relationships with her teachers. The curriculum is stimulating and I’ve definitely seen growth in their education. My youngest learned how to count, learned some sign language to better communicate her needs, and is now almost potty trained thanks to the amazing staff here. We have a high amount of trust and respect for everyone at kiddie academy. We are very thankful to have found such amazing daycare providers.

The teachers strive to get the most out of each child. The director and owner provide terrific leadership and implements new ways for the kids to learn and have fun. There are cameras in each classroom and playground so parents can take a break from work to see their child. The daily reports by email include activities from that day, meals and pictures. Kiddie Academy is by far the most exceptional preschool!

Not only can we complete all of the business we need to on it, but we also get updates and pictures throughout the day which always makes me smile when I am working. They host parent events throughout the year, such as a shaved ice bar or classroom get together, and frequently have special events come to the school such as a reptile lady, kid train, or even a robot band. Coming up is a trip down to see the Rivercats!All in all we are very happy to have found KB. We will continue to use them for all of our kids and can't recommend them enough.

Since the day I met them, they have been nothing but caring and beneficial for me and my children, they have helped my daughter hit milestones so quickly by giving her amazing care. They send photos everyday, showing arts and crafts and more. My son also attends there and absolutely loves it there.I know that my children are always safe being at this daycare. I recommend this daycare to anyone! this is the safest and best place for children to go. I will be having my children there for as long as they can. The managing staff is amazing. From the day I showed up there with my 3 month old infant they were so warm and loving and I knew without a doubt my little one was in good hands. I’m amazed every day now at the things my 2 year old child knows! She’s had many wonderful teachers there but is currently with Mrs. Barbara and is so excited to go see her everyday! There’s no better hands you could trust with your kiddos than this staff. My wife and I have two children that we have enrolled in Knowledge Beginnings in Roseville for over a year and a half. Having had a very eye opening and truly disappointing experience with a Montessori school in Roseville, my wife and I were, to say the least very skeptical and apprehensive about finding a suitable daycare provider for our children. We were referred to Knowledge Beginnings by a friend and colleague and are truly grateful for it. Contrary to some of the previously posted reviews, I believe the Director, Assistant Director and staff at Knowledge Beginnings are competent, caring and truly represent the gold standard for daycare providers. My wife and I have continuous open communication with the staff at Knowledge Beginnings regarding the education and care for our two children on a daily basis. From the time we take our children to daycare in the morning to the time we pick them up, my wife and I are comfortable and confident that the staff at Knowledge Beginnings has the best interest of our children and their developmental growth at hand.

We were worried about how he would do, being born during Covid and not going to daycare until he was 2. From the very beginning they made us feel welcome, they give great updates on how he is doing each day, the classrooms are clean and organized and my son absolutely LOVES his teachers! The staff is amazing and consistent, with teachers and front desk staff who have been here for decades. Our son loved all his teachers, and it was obvious they adored and took great care of him and the other kids. Our son learned a lot from his classes, speaks well, and loved going to school each day. When we decided to move too far to continue with this school, it was one of the saddest elements of our move.This is the place you want to send your kids. We have been loyal members of the Cadence family since 2015 except for a short trail at a preschool closer to our home post COVID, but we quickly returned because the quality experience at Cadence is unmatched. My daughter has arrived in Kindergarten with skills exceeding her classmates because of the quality teaching and foundation established by the teachers at Cadence. My son has a love of “school” and the teachers lovingly help manage his obstinate demeanor. But before they were kids they were treated with so much love and nurturing in the infant room. My daughter is always engaged, having fun, and learning. I love the unique curriculum that is developed specific to age group. The teachers go out of their way to come up with fun and innovative activities, like bringing in real life eggs during a farm animal unit and letting the kids watch the process all the way until they hatched. I also love getting pictures throughout the day and updates for upcoming events through the KidReports app that they utilize. It definitely gives me an extra sense of security seeing what my little one is doing throughout her day. I can’t say enough good things about this school and would definitely recommend it to anyone.

Did I mention how cool the place was kept in the summer heat. Parking could use a few more stalls, but all schools are like that. There is a ton of street parking though if they ever host a family event.
