    Ron: I've been getting food from their food fair for the past few years and they always sell great food at reasonable prices and picking up your food always goes smoothly. Very happy dealing with this place.

    Hank Lander: We recently moved to Natomas and joined this wonderful Reform congregation in Carmichael. Rabbi Nancy is a terrific spiritual leader and we have made many new friends quickly. Shabbat services and Torah study every week. Social Action and Repairing Our World are key principles of the members. High Holy Day services were wonderful, and were well produced for zoom.

    Teaching and learning across the spectrum are central to Jewish identity. We encourage participation in our many opportunities to learn together and to share your own teachings. We are proud of our Mercaz religious school and our extensive Adult Ed offerings, including our affiliation with the Melton School of Adult Jewish Learning.

    We are particularly privileged to host two phenomenal libraries, the Central Valley Holocaust Educators' Network (CVHEN) and the Kashenberg, Ostrow, Hayward (KOH) Library and Cultural Center, whose extensive collections deepen our connection to our faith, people, history, and identity.

    Joshua Canepa Gallo: several times a month. If you join us you will feel welcomed. This is a very active synagogue. The sanctuary is beautiful and it's also glued to Shalom School, the Jewish primary school, so the location is perfect. When it comes to sustainability they also take the cake, especially when it comes to waste-reduction. The only downside is that during services they usually do not announce the page numbers, so unless you have everything memorized you will get lost sometimes.
