Ruby Vazquez: I love this Catholic church a lot. I wish they would add a gift shop since I haven't come across a Catholic church with one in this area yet. It makes me feel better buying directly from the Church instead of outside sources. This church, it's Friars, and everyone else here is wonderful though. I feel so much peace and tranquility when I come here.Mass schedule can be found on the website for those of you asking. Sometimes Google says the church is closed when it's actually open so check the official schedule.

Mary Camcam: I love the church. Stop by and pray very solemn.

Carmen Bloom: The very nice church and Spanish mass is very enjoyable.

Beatriz Ho: The most holiest experience ever. Fr Alvaro and Fr Adam the most wonderful clergy that any person can experience. Pro Ecclesia Sancta is an order devoted to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. The celebration of Holy Mass is magnificent. The homilies come from much examination and studious experiences of GK Chesterton. The true meaning and value that is explained and shared with the community, the body of Christ, has boomed in that they have people from all areas of Sacramento coming to hear them preach. Fr Alvaro is the 21st century, St Francis of Assisi; Fr Adam, in many ways like St John of the Cross and yet, and maybe a bit in an eccentric way of St Padre Pío. He is not afraid of telling and sharing with us what we must do to attain heaven; he like Fr Alvaro spend time in meditation praying and visiting those that need a priest. They are also devoted to the school Chesterton Academy where children are flourishing in classical studies. And learning how to be true to their belief in the Eucharist , the true presence that we Catholics believe is the source and summit of our existence. God bless our priests for their sacrifice and devotion to their vocations as shepherds, disciples of Christ. Viva Cristo Rey and Our real mother, Blessed Mother Mary and St Joseph her most chaste spouse!!

alejvega: Love this church

Tim Gannon: Beautiful church. Friendly spiritual congregation. Lovely liturgy.

Henry Ballard: May you not forget the infinite possibilities of faith.

Johana Acosta: I like it because they have service in Spanish

Blake Henderson: In my previous post of Our Lady of Peace in Santa Clara, I was able to present the Miracle of the Dancing Sun. On this review of St. Lawrence the Martyr Catholic Church in North Highlands, I have experienced another miracle of a projected image of what is known in the Catholic tradition as the Sacred Heart. The Consecrated Host inside the monstrance is believed to be the Sacred Heart of Jesus. In fact the miracle of the consecrated host hundred of years ago in Lanciano, Italy proved that the host that turned into flesh was actually a slice of the heart, when it was investigated by a team of medical experts recently. My experience while attending Liturgical service at St. Lawrence the Martyr Catholic Church was one of awe and reverence. While the Sacred Host was exposed on the altar for veneration, a projected image of the Sacred Heart appeared on the ceiling near the entrance way in the back. It seemed to be coming from a spotlight that lighted the Sacred Host on the altar.A bigger monstrance replaced the other one with more candles placed on the sides. This is to ensure that the people did not adore the reflected image on the ceiling. But now the Sacred Heart image still appears on the tabernacle wall up front. That is not why people are drawn to this church. It is under the New Management of Fr. Alvaro, the Pastor, Fr. Adam his assistant, and Sister Gracy. They are all from the religious community of Pro Ecclesia Sancta and all are doing an excellent job.Outstanding characteristic is the daily mass and confession, great homily, and many programs provided. You can feel the holiness of the place. "Come and see," as Saint Mother Teresa of Calcutta would say.

Anthony Navasero: Our church welcomes all. I always appreciate the diversity in our congregation as well as the commonality in our belief in God and our Savior Jesus Christ.

Mel B C: Nice simple humble church with friendly parishioners and church staff.
