Jacob Phillips: Whaaaat? There's a Jamaican restaurant owned and operated by a black-is-beautiful woman called Sunny? Whhaaaat!!!??? I drice along and all I can hear us Bob saying I&I over and over again. Then I hear 'dem say. 'dem say. When I know damn well the Lion of Judah plant the coffee ☕️ and I&I plant the corn. So I turn the plane back and prepare for a short run way landing. And who do I talk to? A young prophet in the making. Still a boy, but FREELY sharing his knowledge, and laying down the law...almost as if tbe GREAT MOTHER was there all along, raising up her boy in the way of Jah. And then....the Queen herself comes out to supervise, and I actually got to touch her hand! And ohhh the food! The food! OMG THE FOOD!!!

Anna Beckwith: My daughter and I had a taste for oxtails this 4th of July and after searching for a place, we found this Jamaican Gem! The 2 ladies were very nice as we excitedly told them how we craved for oxtails and its our first time there! We ordered our food to go and didn’t have to wait that long and they gave us extra sauce! We got home and when we opened our plates it was full of deliciousness 💋. Every bite from the oxtails, to the rice and plantains and cabbage was full of spices and seasonings and its The Best oxtail plate we ever had In Sacramento! Period!

Melissa Downs: WOW!!! First of all when we walked in we were greeted by the owner, the staff, and even other customers! Everyone was being so kind and then when we went to order I was stunned because the prices are super reasonable and the amount of food you get is PERFECT! The food was so yummy! Definitely recommend putting the brown chicken gravy on your rice! This is a MUST TRY!

Trayvon Ceasar: OX tail from this kitchen is cook to perfection. I live out of state here and then visit or pass through the city and Im always reminded to visit and eat in because where else am I going to get a good rue! Plus there’s a resting peace that resides there bringing a relaxing and recharging feeling once leaving out the doors. Applause to the creators/owners. Thank You

Kate Golden: Food: 5/5Recommended dishes Jerk Chicken Cabbage Plantains and Rice and Peas Recommendation for vegetarians Highly recommend Vegetarian offerings Large vegetarian selection

Max S: Came by here with family as a pit stop after visiting the State Capitol for lunch. We made it just in time, 45 min before closing which would have been 2:30pm.Ordered jerk chicken plates. The food was simple, and honest. It was great! The jerk chicken was flavored just right and cooked well. It was served on rice and beans with salad. Picked the peanut sauce for the dressing and did not regret! If you like sauces and are stopping by, ask for extra! The owners are very friendly and personable. There is Caribbean music playing. The seating and env is simple and friendly. Next time I'm in town, I would come back!

Charles Williams: Real authentic foods.

Tommy Jones: This place is amazing just had the taste for some jerk chicken today and ended up here. I had a jerk chicken burrito it was a 9/10 nice and clean inside the smell of jerk and curry hits you soon as you walk in definitely recommendRecommended dishes …

Leah K: I've been wanting to go to this place since last year. We finally made it on a Friday to check out the oxtail. It was very good. It reminded me of the oxtail my parents make. We also had the jerk chicken plate. It was very good. The ginger beer was refreshing, bright, & had that crisp bite to it. I would definitely go back again. The service was very friendly. We dined in to enjoy our meal but there was a steady stream of people coming in for take-out orders. Next time I want to try one of the curry dishes.

Lynetta Lima: so it was my lucky day! The Oxtails were delicious 😋 and to compliment the tender Oxtails was a nice portion of the beans and rice. The red chili sauce is pretty spicy and adds a great kick to every bite. I didn't catch the owners names, but they were so sweet and welcoming. I will definitely be back next Friday!

Lori Juchau: Always that best. Comfort food, no matter the choice.Dietary restrictions: Deb is very educated in her health knowledge and is always happy to ablige.Kid-friendliness: Deb loves all kids. Even the big ones! 😉

Jake Leary: One of my favorite spots in Sac. Everything homemade from scratch, including the peanut salad dressing which you must try. I literally bring a jar sometimes and buy her salad dressing to bring home. Roti, jerk chicken, and curry are all top notch. As far as I know this is the only roti spot in Sac and it’s better than the dozen or so places I’ve had roti in NYC.

Christy Cornett: Great customer service very friendly and great food and atmosphere

Mikel Dohner: I just got back from Miami and was feeling like eating another Cuban sandwich. I found this place on google, and the ratings were enough to convince me to try it out. I had the Cuban sandwich, small salad, and slice of flan. The cuban sandwich was everything i was looking for. The bread wasn't too thick and was peefectly crisp and warm. The meat was juicy and delicious. There was the perfect amount of mustard and pickles to give the sandwich a nice sharp flavor. All in all, I will be back and highly recommend this place.
