Michael Gamez: Really cool place to have a picnic.
Jonathan: Beautiful lake that we enjoyed a short kayaking trip today. We saw an otter, geese, ducks, and just relaxed on the water. Although it's beautiful, the use charge seems steep at $10 per car per day, so minus a star. Otherwise, a great place for walking along the water on the bike trail, etc, and definitely a nice location for canoeing, kayaking, etc. We'll be back!
James D Hawkins: Very nice are to walk
Charlie Mac: Great place to launch but the staff get easily overwhelmed on holidays. The close the parking lot saying it's full even when spots are visible. Could use between queuing methods and optimization for holiday rushes.
Brian M. Grenoble: us MTB'rs luv Lake Natoma, there're EXCELLENT trails down BOTH sides! 🤣😆🤟⛰️🚲🏔️🚲
R. Slater McLaughlin: Great place to start cycling along the American River Bike trail or to launch your kayak on Lake Natoma
Michelle Ewing: Sunset paddle, three generations on the water. Our granddaughter paddled with the geese and her and her Papa John saw a family of river otters. We were serenaded by a guitar on one side of the lake and flute music on the other.
g g: Beautiful Area
Lyssa Lou: Beautiful place to bring paddle boards and kayaks!
Jeremy M: Best place to launch paddle boards.

Stephen Valdez: Arrived Sunday 10/23/2022. The Water Level Was So Low That A Sand Bar Surrounded The Dock With Maxium 1-1/2 Ft Water Depth. Only Saw One 10 ft Rowboat, Yes Rowboat, Paddling Away From The Dock & One Larger Boat Trailer In The Lot.
Isaac LaR: Very nice boat launch! Also is a great place for swimming and other things!!Yes, we biked thru it.
Sebastian Wszolek: Cool chill spot. You can drive your car down to the beach area
Pj Helms: Nice relaxing place to be
Hector Esquivel: Good times with my son
Mike Newton: Very organized and well maintained. Easy launch and load.
Anon Ymous: Easy boat ramp to launch boats and kayaks from. The water level fluctuations determine where you park, and how far you travel down the ramp to launch. At the height of the drought you had to travel probably 30 feet down the ramp to launch. When the lake is near capacity, the lower ramp and parking lot are both submerged.

Alex Popa: Good boat ramp problem lake to small
Mohammad H. Hassanzadeh: Liked it. Water level was raising since last year and it is very good. Water was clean and ramp was ready!
Brandon Cliburn: Easy access from parking lot with a kayak.
Stephen Valdez: Powerboats 15' & under allowed. Also; Per Wikipedia: Powerboats are permitted with a 5 mph "no wake" restriction.
Paul Baker: MOTORLESS launch ONLY.
Louis J Miller: Stopped here to get some water for my sisters turtle...
Neftali Rivera: I love how you can park out side the paying booth and walk in to the dam they have bbq pits available.
Sheree: We love going to this place for so many reasons! Kayaking, paddle boating, feeding all the beautiful ducks, paying in the water, taking pictures in the fall. It's such a great plsce for family photos on the fall with all the orange and red leaves
Anon Ymous: Easy boat ramp to launch boats and kayaks from. There is typically plenty of parking in the area, and hardly any boats to compete with because of the speed restriction. There are lots of things to see out in this Lake, including animals, turtles, birds, and fish.

Tina Forsey: I visited lake Folsom September 2023. beautiful lake.
Christine Noller: Love being able to launch our boat close to home . Launched it at this ramp early morning and was out by 2 pm as we are family people and it gets busy with young adults and party goers towards afternoon . So much fun and easy to launch and load boat back onto the trailer ! No arguments between my husband and I as when it comes to launching and trailing arguments always occur . So much fun with the family
Sergey Kosh: Good lake with warm water. Good for boats and jetski. Has places for BBQ and family parties. Enjoy.
michael16: Saw many ducks in the lake.

Samuel Heng: 1st time back in years! Lovely! Water was perfect! Kids had a blast!
mihir mahajan: For Photography Best time to visit here is before sunset. Check out sunset time and visit this place 1 hour before sunset time. Enjoy the view and get ready for best sunset shots. This captured this using DJI Magic Mini and drove drone right next to the park entrance fee booth. If you don’t want to go ahead inside the park or to the boating ramp. And if you just want to see this sunset, then just park car near entrance and enjoy the view.
Trineth Reddy: Peaceful and didn't have anyone to collect parking ticket. So it was free
Daivd Quijada: Great boat ramp, but from August on be ready for a long up hill walk from the ramp to get your truck!

Alejandro Nieto: Amazing
Deborah Minor: The place it awesome
David V: I have been coming here now for a while and the last 2 weeks have been the best the strippers are running. if you like a good fight or just to have some fun come and check it out. The truth it's all up and down the Sacramento river as long as you can be safe. Never try to show off the river doesn't respect anyone! It doesn't matter how good of a swimmer a person is. Always safety first. These pics were a couple of days apart.

Jashon Smith: Formerly overrun by motor vehicles, Star Bend has made a bit of a turnaround over the last year. Trash, broken glass, pools of motor oil and human excrement have been greatly reduced. It is currently a good place to take a walk by the river, fish and boat. If the county can continue to prevent it from being overrun by motor vehicles, and the community can show respect and value for the land, it will be a fantastic place to experience the outdoors.
Dion Bland: Good fishing 🎣 and free to dock the boat.
Brent Stephens: It's a good place to hang out and fish or swim.Really don't understand how the county and cuties Sutter and yuba county,The city of Marysville CACan keep public access to the water way's locked up.They have no access to the river ways for the disabled to gain access to enjoy themselves at the river.Love to see the people of the water Way's and the disabled to sue the counties involved to open public access to water way's and make disabled access to we deserve to enjoy are self to be able to cool off and experience the views of the river
Waylon Pickett: Pretty cool place the water is a little low right now but it's all right
glen harris: Nice place to eat lunch and watch cars spin broghtys especially on week days
Theodore Smith: Wish there was more security here for vehicle safety.
Shelby M: Great spot to go fishing, and hiking. Depending on the time of year great sandy spots along the river to hang out with tones of wildlife. The water is fast moving in this area thought so be safe If you swim here.
gamer beast: Nice
