Rava Masala dosa taste good but the authentic taste is missing from their Dosas. Sambar was ok. Must try their Pan after the food.Kids loved the robot serving the food and kept asking for more food so that they can see robot one more time.

NaturalDecorDesign: I LOVE Mehfil!! My only regret is I didn't find out about this place sooner. The cuisine is authentic and has its own masterful flair. The Tandoori chicken is unmatched. It's simply the best I've ever had. The chai tea is the best. The carrot dessert is something I crave and look forward to. And the mango ice cream... Oh my goodness. It doesn't get any better. Every single thing I've ordered and had at their buffet was delicious. I highly recommend!

Their spices are complex and deliciously balanced, and the other dishes we have tried have all been very good. Their chicken Tikka is always moist and delicious and perfectly cooked. Have it with their green sauce, it is the bomb. Despite the counter ordering, they are better than everyone else. We live in midtown, and come here because we enjoy it so much. Marcos Garcia-Hard: and I found myself sneaking in a bites whenever I could. It was so delicious. It was one of the first times that I've ever called back a restaurant and complimented them for how fantastic the food was. So I'm leaving this review. In hope that more people will support it. This business and they will be able to sustain themselves. I believe they do catering as well. And that may be their first line of business, but I'm glad that they offer an option to be able to eat in. They have a little dining area there. You know, to eat it's not super fancy, but it's very comfortable if somebody wants to eat lunch there are some tables in this nice little area to dine. I'm more focused on the quality of the food and the service.than I am the ambience and you know it's a functional commercial Kitchen with an adjacent area with a area for dining. Everything was very clean and tasteful and it was very welcoming and I would have felt very comfortable eating there had I had more time? Thank You again Bombay Cuisine and Indian Sweets.I will definitely be back!!

Vijay Raman: We are visiting Folsom and stumbled onto Avatar’s for lunch. Coming from the SF Bay area, we’ve been to any number of Indian restaurants but this was a real find!The decor was very tasteful, the tables neatly laid out, the music subdued.. and the food was outstanding. We had dal tadka, mixed vegetable coconut curry, cucumber raita and and onion naan and roji roti. Each dish had its own spin and balance of spices, they all tasted great. I also asked for a few slices of onion, as that goes well with dal and roti, and lo and behold, we received a platter of sliced onion, cucumber and jalapeño, with slices of lemon for squeezing, at no charge. Loved the food, the service and the aesthetics, recommend Avatar’s to all lovers of quality Indian food.

Main dish- Roji roti, butter garlic Naan, palak paneer, dal tadka, were tasty. You have the option to adjust spicy as per your taste. Aaloo gobhi was ok types.Didn't like Vegetable Biriyani though.

I only saw two servers, so there was a little wait to order, but nothing too long. Samosas we’re fabulous - not greasy or oily. We got the vegetable biryani, aloo ghobi, chicken vindaloo, and garlic naan. All were delicious and they had an extensive number of vegetarian options. The servers were quick, efficient, and friendly. We will definitely be back!

Ruchika Bhandari: I hosted a Birthday party for 50 people. Restaurant owner and staff personally took care of all the arrangements and all of our needs. They were very friendly. All the guests loved the food. Pakoras, Panner n chicken tikka, tawa Sabji, panner butter masala, biryani were hit items. Even after a week, my guests still metion that they had fun at the party. I’ve been to numerous other Indian places and this place is the best one I’ve been by far. I am now very very picky when it comes down to Indian food haha. The flavor is good and prices beat most in the area. I love the coconut curry chicken and the butter chicken and they are various with the amount of chicken they serve. I highly recommend them and I am so happy I found my go to Indian spot!
