Bobelaine Audubon Sanctuary: what do users think?

Leandro Addarich: Beautiful place with a lot of shade at the trails. Lot of birds.

Jennifer Walker: Very beautiful

Shayne Downs: This place is like magical woodlands. Love the trails that are maintained by a very dedicated group of volunteers.

Kyoko: I took my kids for a walk here. It was really nice outside. There is lots of shade. We spotted some turtles in the water. Do be sure to bring sunscreen and water.

Adi Arkin: Beautiful easy trail with lots of birds.

leia riley: Where the feather and bear rivers meet.Dog-friendliness: Dogs not allowed

Kirstin Barnhart: Nice nature escape near Sacramento. Well maintained trails and clear trail signs. Not supposed to bring dogs per the signs. Very scenic if you drop down into the oak grove rather than stay on the levee bank. There is a friendly dog that most likely belongs to a local farmer that likes to follow hikers around. Beware of the porta potty in the parking lot- it was full of hornets. And bring bug spray- there were more mosquitos than we thought in the shady areas.

Three Travels: Great winter walk through nature. Easy trail, well marked. Gentle rolling up and down but mostly level. Easy to take a running stroller.

Calvin Hamilton: definitely not the place to bring your dog, but the birding is outstanding. About 400 plus acres of refuge bordering the feather river. the trails are well marked best to come in the spring and fall, summer can get hot and very buggyRestrooms: porta pottiesPicnic area: a few picnic tables

Trella Schlutsmeyer: We’ve been going here for years, I love it! Great location for photography and walking! Fun for a picnic by the river

Amanda Snow: Nice trails, good variety of habitats, clearly marked trails, tons of birds and wildlife. We went early morning, saw beaver and raccoon plus many many bird species. Nice place to botanize and enjoy the odonates too. Free but donate if you can do we can keep this nice place.Restrooms: Few restrooms at parking lot, forget whether they were portapotties or whatPicnic area: A few tables at the parking lot

Keith Guerrero: Can you fish the pond that is here? Just catch and release?

Louis Cashatt: I love this place! 30 minutes north of Sacramento, nice walking paths along the feather river, mostly through oak woodlands with a nice amount of shade. Perfect for a 1/2 day trip!Picnic area: Picnic tables by the entrance

Damon Plant: Closed rn. Can't wait til it's open

David Briggs: Came out here to enjoy the outdoors, lots of fishing out here

Doug Wirtz: Fun little spot to relax at .

The Suave Sultan: The weir has been keeping Sacramento dry since 1916. It’s also a great place to take pictures of the river and to see a variety of wildlife.

Rudy Ramírez: After seeing the bypass getting worked on towards the back area of County Road 126 it's looking amazing still more word getting done currently

kat K: Dog-friendliness: This is the Levy next to the River Road on the way to Woodland from West Sacramento. It is also the Levee walkway and dirt road adjacent to the California Highway Patrol Academy.👮‍♀️🚔 👮‍♂️ Good place to pull off the road and see the stars ✨ However some of them are moving because it's in the flight 🛩 pattern of the airport...lol

robert haley: Pretty great for wildlife photography from the car. Seems like a place you can’t get lost in but, on the foot trails it can get a little confusing. Remember where you parked! Everything looks the same!

Christopher Jones: Secret hot spot for nature walks, seldom do you see other people.

Melani Babi: Beautiful, and unlike much of the rest of the valley. Birds were out in great numbers, and the song in the evening was like an orchestra. A lush natural environment; I wish more of the surrounding area could be like this.

CholoDeYolo Fishing: Nice place

Mario Mendoza: nice and clean it's a great place to enjoy nature.

Milo Kovet: Good place for a hike and wildlife viewing.

Lemuel Moi,jr: Great place to hunt, you need dogs

Alex Porto: Quiet and full of life, but somewhat remote.
