I finally got to switch insurance and on New Year’s Day ended up in er at Sutter Roseville. At about 8 pm this gentleman walks into my little room and introduces himself as dr. Shadle. I was amazed! I was supposed to have an appt with him on the 3rd. We went over my history and he basically laid out a plan for me and my tummy- to my delight and surprise he then said, would you like to do it now?!? I’ll stay- I’ve got the o.r. Booked! My mind was blown! By 8:45pm I was having rny revision surgery. I woke up and honestly feel better immediately than I did after my initial surgery. This man is so friendly and kind and caring! But he even came every day to see me in the hospital. He has prescribed vitamins and meds to help my situation that no other dr would even be bothered with! I can honestly call this man a lifesaver! Anyone who is lucky enough to be seen by him - thank your lucky stars! Thank you dr. Shadle!!!

He was thorough in explaining what he would do and all possible results. He made sure that I understood the where, what, why and when of the surgery. His attitude provided a relaxed atmosphere for myself and family. His friendliness and consideration were important to me. I truly felt that he cared about my welfare and would take good care of me. That caring attitude continued in follow up calls after the surgery. He maintains an office staff that exhibits this same caring attitude. If the occasion presented itself, I would certainly recommend Dr. Shadle to anyone. If I had any need for additional surgery, he would be my surgeon if at all possible.

DeeDee Yates: I had the gastric sleeve 1/20/23 and yesterday, 7/20/23, was my 6 month post op and I’m down 91 pounds. From the point of me inquiring from Be Sim Bariatrics to now, all of their staff have been exceptional. Their communication with me did not stop after my surgery. They have reached out to me several times since my surgery, checking on me and letting me know they are here for me. I have only had one little issue since my surgery and it was nothing they did, it was just my body adjusting. I went and had a vitamin drip, 2 weeks after my surgery, and then another one 2 weeks later and it has been smooth sailing since! I feel amazing and wish I had done this sooner. I had a great experience, from the hospital to the hotel to my post op , I never had pain , never was nauseous, never threw up , i was expecting a little of all of that at the least but my body did great. I’m down 28lbs and I have zero complaints!! I definitely make the better choices when it comes to food but I don’t deprive myself of the foods I want to taste. Anne Hall: I went to Sacramento Bariatrics Medical Associates for a Coolsculpting procedure to reduce fat sags on the underside of my upper arms due to weight loss.  The procedure was simple taking about 60 minutes to Coolsculpt both arms. The results are pleasing although subtle, which is what I desired. My upper arms appear more streamlined, thanks to Coolsculpting. I experienced numbness for about three weeks in the area Coolsculpted but no discomfort. Very pleased with the Coolsculpting results and with the experience at Sacramento Bariatric Medical Associates.

Please let patients know they can do the pysch appts and physical therapy at the same time as the dietician appts so the process is more streamlined. I also want to say that if there is a reason for an endoscopy prior to surgery, it should be talked about and done prior to getting surgery date. Other than that, this was an education, a journey of discovery that I am enjoying very much for the first time in my adult life.

I was able to get up and move around with care within a few days. The 4 incisions I have all are minimal incisions and Dr. Eslami did a marvelous job. Ted Morison: I had a medical emergency and arrived at ER around 5:15 am. The emergency nurse was very polite and was very efficient at getting me checked in. I’d say my “wait time” might have been 10 minutes.Once in the exam room, my situation was determined and went pretty fast.They couldn’t fix my problem but was then admitted to main hospital.Very professional staff, they answered questions and we able to get me stable.I’m VERY happy with the Sutter Health ER in Roseville.

Kathy McDaniel: Had an emergancy where my husband was admitted and had neuro surgery. Then returned 4 months later for more surgery. We have never had better care. The hospital is well organized, has great service, it is very clean and has a pleasing ambience. Every staff member Nurse, Doctor and volunteer gave us the best care and respect. Patrick Dolohery: for chest pain and being from out of state visiting family made it a little more stressful. As soon as I walked in the ER there was no line to check but quite a few people waiting to be seen. I told the triage nurse what was wrong and she ordered an EKG right away I don't remember her name though but very nice and understanding. No sooner than she finished typing up the EKG order the ER tech Tony was there with a wheelchair and took me to do an EKG. After having that done, he took me to the triage room where I was met by Doctor Royer, a very nice man and didn't treat me like I didn't know what I was talking about and not condescending at all. He ordered meds and tests for me and was taken to a room right away. There I was met by the ER nurse David, who was super cool. He along with a paramedic intern started 2 IV's. Shortly after that I received nitroglycerin and other meds for chest pain. Dr. Gopez who admitted me was great too. Once I got to a room in telemetry the staff on all shifts have been above and beyond amazing including the nurses Jhermaine, Kathy, Lily and the nursing assistants Aubree, Beverly, Mary. They have all been amazing and seeing to my needs. The imaging and nuclear med techs have been just as amazing. Considering I was in the area from out of state to see family and had this come up was a great experience and having everything explained to me all the better and with my heart/health issues, this by far has been great. A thumbs up and five star rating to all involved in my care. Thank you!
