The Klamath Basin is a highly productive region for waterfowl migration. Each year, millions of ducks and geese use the Basin as a stopover point during their journey south. The Basin provides critical habitat for these birds, as well as a wide variety of other wildlife. Watch the importance of restoring the Klamath Basin and how it affects waterfowl migration on an annual basis.

Farmers who enroll in the program allow us to sweep their fields for nests before harvest, or provide us with cartons to collect eggs as they harvest. We then take the eggs to permitted hatcheries.
