The 51-week Automotive Technology program is designed to equip you with the knowledge and skills needed to pursue a career as an auto technician. As a graduate from the Rancho Cucamonga campus, you’ll earn an associate degree and be prepared to complete examinations to become ASE certified.

Students in the 45-week Diesel Technology program dive into all things diesel, from engine service and repair to electronic systems and technology. Upon completion of the program, you'll earn a diploma or associate degree, depending on your chosen specialty. You will also be prepared to complete ASE examinations.

Created in conjunction with Lincoln Electric, the 36-week Welding Technology program covers four different welding processes to prepare you as a combination welder. As a graduate, you’ll earn a diploma.

The Wind Turbine Technician training program is designed to equip students with the knowledge and hands-on skills needed to become wind technicians. Students learn everything from advanced electrical theory to renewable energy sources, wind turbine operation, and climb and rescue to prepare for a career in this innovative field.

Students in the Industrial Maintenance program learn to work on the machinery that powers many different industries, from coal and gas to solar and nuclear. They take courses on DC and AC basic electricity, industrial heating and cooling, steam and gas turbines, boiler operations, and much more.

In the Robotics & Automation program, students take courses on a variety of topics, including 3D design and manufacturing, industrial networking, and digital electronics and circuits. This equips them with a diverse skill set to build on in the field.

A graduate of UTI’s programs accredited by the ASE Education Foundation can substitute his or her training for one year of work experience toward ASE’s two-year work requirement.

Rancho Cucamonga awards Associate of Occupational Studies (AOS) degrees to Automotive and Automotive/Diesel Technology graduates. Graduates of the Diesel and Welding programs will receive diplomas.
