The recreation area is open from 6 AM to 10 PM daily, with boating hours from 6 AM to 7:30 PM and last boat launch at 5:30 PM.
Dogs are not allowed on unpaved trails and on the sand (beach areas) because the water is used for municipal drinking water, and not allowed on Allesandro Island or the Bernasconi Beach area. However, dogs can go on your boat, but cannot have any body contact with the water at any time.
The summer weekend and holiday fee is $20 per vehicle, which can be paid at the kiosk attendant with credit card or cash (exact change is appreciated) or with the Yodel parking app.
Boating hours are from 7 AM to 6:30 PM, with watercraft without running lights required to be off the water by sunset year-round. Additionally, last boat launch is at 4:30 PM.
Alcoholic beverage consumption is prohibited in all Day-Use Areas of the park, and violators are subject to citation and possible ejection from the park. Additionally, inflatable rafts, drones, and open ground fires are also prohibited in the park.
