Whittier Narrows Nature Center: what do users think?

kenneth clark: It's located in a Great place for bird watching .

SYN T (Syn T): Everyone is very nice they have educational groups and I loved it here. Restrooms are clean. They have a night walk and will post pics of that when I do the walk.

Ted Havill: Free parking. Open until 730p every night. Lots of live snakes and animals to look at. Paved nature trail for kids

Elmeow K.J.: Picnic area: Large picnic area

c tb: Love coming here to unwind and listen to nature. They have their museum open and multiple nature events each month.Restrooms: Very clean and well kept restrooms

Elkcin Cannabinoid: Relatively quiet place to bring the kids and the dog for a gold walk. Walked to the damn and back, took about 2 hours.

Elias De Leon Jr.: I had to go meet someone there. Very nice and comfortable place to have lunch

Victor Silva: A cool place to feel natural and familiar

Peakacme Fang: There are bike path and walking trails south to it.The restroom is very clean and quiet because not much people here. Sometimes the workers are more than visitors. I like it. +++++There is a program of "Nature In A Bag" on Wednesday to Saturday from 10:30 AM to 1:00 PM.I found this place on the way home after I bought breakfast in nearby McDonald.I drove in and found I was the only visitor. I decided to eat breakfast here because there were tables and seats on big tree shades. Also was there a fresh feeling and breeze.I ate my breakfast with thanking God.

Ellen4 Birds: I have been visiting the nature center for the past 5 years and really enjoy exploring such a gem of a spot. I totally understood the shift in hours during COVID and from summer to winter to summer but you randomly change your days of operation different from what your website states and that is bad community relations.I work at a local social services agency and have been preparing to have a two hour outdoor activity with a small group of staff there and I have been trying to reach someone at the phone number listed on your webpage with no success regardless of the time of day I call. In addition there’s no outgoing message stating what your hours are or any general information for that matter. I suppose I took a chance for our meeting scheduled for today to discover - contrary to what your website advertises - that you are in fact closed not only on Mondays but Tuesdays as well until this coming Thursday, July 1.I was really excited to share the beauty of WNNC, the trails, and the beauty of birds with my team but could not do it there leaving me at the last minute changing the location for my team coming from all over the SGV from Pomona, Azusa, Alhambra, to Monterey Park.I just wanted you to know that I am super disappointed. I strongly believe you have a responsibility to the community in which you operate to communicate clearly with those who support you, something you should consider.

Rylan Castiel: love feeding bread to the bird, squirrels and ducks.....easy access to park and restroom.

Sepulveda Basin Wildlife Reserve: what do users think?

Son of The Most High: Amazing

HipHopDance Eliana: what a beautiful and unpopulated place! Come to the field of flowers for cute sunset pics: there's also a pond with ducks, frogs, and unique birds. This is a lot cooler and prettier then Balboa Park which is right next to the Basin in my opinion**

Dee J: So much L I F E here! It’s a beautiful place to take a nature walk, have a picnic, observe butterflies, dragonflies, birds. Great nature oasis in the middle of the valley in the city. I have been several times in a month or so because I love it so much. There’s multiple zones and tons of parking lots on one big property. These are photos of the lake area but theres big open fields and the amphitheater as well as the Japanese gardens too and so on. ✨

Pam Jgmail: Lovely place. Bit spoilt by trash and encampments. About 6 parking spaces at the entrance off of Burbank by the freeway exit ramp. Or lots of parking if you enter off Woodley.

Xion Destiny꧂: to get the most serene experience.Dog-friendliness: Lots of trails to walk your dog.Picnic area: There are lots of grassy fields to have picnics and parties in.

Larry Jensen: Beautiful trail. Very peaceful, no people, easy peasy, and no trash anywhere.

Dana brown: One of the best urban wilderness parks in Southern California

Oxford Basin: what do users think?

Oscar: Tbh me a few friends bike through their but I didn't see any animals bummer 😕

Eugene Kots: Great little park in the Marina. Good for dogs, working out or just taking a walk.

Non Such: Open carry advisable.

Trecia Lovering: I came across a trail while I was in the area. I didn’t know there was a wildlife conservation in the area. It loops around Admiralty Way and W Washington Blvd. it was a nice, easy walk around the ears. There are parts of it where it’s right next to the main busy streets but it’s a great to have a little nature nearby.

Tahseena Kahn: A must see! Great place to jog or even relax!

Realle: The wildlife can be hit or miss, but if nearby worth a look.

Nina F.: Serenity in beauty

Michael Tripp: This is a beautiful place to do bird watching. Lots of water birds congregate here. The restoration turned out really nice.

Allen Mitchell Gardner: Best place to clear your mind. This is like a swamp though.

Jonnie Sax: Great.
