    Despite the tremendous progress that has been made in global health over the past two decades, there are remote villages in Kenya where health care services are non-existent or not accessible. MMK was founded on the belief that people of all nations, regions, and classes, regardless of their social-economic status, should share knowledge of basic health facts and access to medical care. MMK targets remote rural villages to provide medical relief to locals, often poverty-stricken individuals who have been excluded from healthcare systems worldwide.

    MMK’s Medical mission trips provide a comprehensive continuum of health services aimed at promoting the well being of people in underdeveloped remote villages. Volunteer groups of nurses, pharmacists and doctors provides diagnosis and treatment; establish partnerships and training with local community health care workers; conduct community medical and wellness training; and foster principles of preventative health care and healthy lifestyle living and thus improving their quality of life.

    Crystal Sanchez: I over heard them help a lady from Lawndale but denied me because I was from Inglewood.Update a year later: Thank you Erin. I’ve been back to the shelter for help for new matters and I really appreciate the kindness I was met with. I wish this was shown with staff and volunteers though. A lot of people only reach out for help because they going through a hard so to be met with attitude and brushed under a rug when I was trying to help some kittens who lost their mama cat, it really broke my heart and I almost didn’t reach out again when I was helping a dog this year but Erin helped me a lot and for that I’m really looking forward to doing more.

Our dogs had passed over the last few years, and she and my daughter have been showing me pics and talking about dogs for a while... Any ways long story short, we got a dog they told us was kinda a loud whiny dog. When we walked him he was GREAT!! He's been a little work, but we all love him!!!!

I adopted my dog from there and it was love at first sight.My dog had a twin brother and both of them were named Chip and Dale. I adopted Dale who's name now is Sparky. He is a wonderful dog and so smart. I would highly recommend the Lovejoy Foundation.
