That’s a wrap for the 2023 Summer Age Group Champs! Swim Torrance finished the four day prelims/finals meet in the third place. Credit to the swimmer’s dedication to the TORCH values: Team work, Ownership, Respect, Commitment, and Hardwork. Way to go team!!

One more day for Summer Age Group Champs! Day 3 kept the momentum and drive in best times, returning to finals and outstanding 400 Medley relays!

Jude is a first time Futures qualifier in the 200 Fly with a 2:09.89. Way to go Jude!!

Bravo Key! First time Sectional qualifier in the 200m Fly with a 2:27.76! Also, Key broke her own team record at Summer Age Group Champs!

Day 2 of Summer AGC’s : more finals swims, more relays, more best times & team records broken!

Day 1 of Summer Age Group Champs started off with a BANGWith great prelim swims bringing 19 swimmers back to finals with 26 individual swims and 1 Sectional qualifier and 1 Futures qualifier!

Last Chance JAG was a team effort: our second LCM team hosted meet for the season and in cheering for one another! The swimmers did outstanding in their races as did the parents with volunteering!

Great swims from the one day May Duel Meet with Beach Cities! The Sharks and Age Group swimmers continued to focus on their three skill challenge and the older swimmers were great in speaking with coaches about their race strategies.


Senior swimmers shared their tips and tricks of flip turns and open turns with the Sharks last week!

In our first LCM meet of the season, the Spring Splash was incredibly eventful (in racing and on-deck moments)!! AWESOME swims in the double ending/ chase start format. We also have INCREDIBLE parent volunteers in all the roles needed to make the meet a success. Way to go Swim Torrance!!

Some moments when the swimmers weren’t racing lights out! They crushed Spring Age Group Champs, as the last meet of the short course season. Some highlights include Hillary’s first Futures cuts, Topher’s first Sectional cuts, 11-12 girls relays breaking all the team records and Daniel breaking a few team records on his own too! All around a great meet! Way to go Swim Torrance!
