Called me in and my male nurse was Gallan? He was fast, caring, and gentle with putting in my I.V. Nice gentleman. All I remember is being wheeled in the surgery and being shaken, trying to wake me up. It was hard to.wake.me. I could hear my lady's voice telling me,' CHUY! Wake up!!.Come on Chuy wake up!! I wouldn't ot couldn't....then I could hear her begin to cry. I opened my eyes and saw my son Jesse walk in. Oh Shoot! I said that's my Son! Lol! They gave me after surgery instructions and paperwork to take to my Doctor's office. All is well!. I just completed my second colonoscopy at the center; and, for the second time, was extremely pleased with everyone associated with this very well-organized facility. Three days before my procedure, the surgery center called to confirm my time and answer any questions or concerns. On the day of the colonoscopy, I was greeted warmly at the front desk and quickly escorted to a bed. Throughout the entire process, I felt continually reassured that I was in very safe and capable hands. Stacey and Kathy, two of the RN鈥檚, took down my information, checked up on me several times, and made sure that I was comfortable. Their friendly manner and professional expertise definitely calmed any jittery nerves.By the time I was wheeled in for the colonoscopy, I was already feeling very relaxed. After being greeted by Dr. Michael Mello, who asked if I had any questions, the anesthesiologist did his job鈥nd, then, the colonoscopy was completed. All in all, while no one looks forward to surgery, I highly recommend the Community Surgery Center for the professional and cohesive teamwork among their intake clerks, nursing staff, and doctors.
