On September 30, 2021, California Assembly Bill 481 (AB 481) was signed into law. Subsequently, California Government Code Sections 7070, 7071, and 7072 were adopted to codify the requirements set forth in AB 481. AB 481 addresses the funding, acquisition and use of military equipment by police departments.
The draft of the Inglewood Police Department policy (Lexipol #709) and the draft of equipment applicable to AB 481 for use by the Inglewood Police Department is available here.
This webpage was created in response to AB 481, Government Code Section 7071, which outlines the process for adoption of the policy by City Ordinance. It requires the draft policy be provided to the governing body and be placed on the Inglewood Police Department website 30-days prior to the public hearing on the ordinance, which is expected to occur on February 28, 2023, during a regularly scheduled City Council meeting. The draft policy and related documents were made available on this site for public review on January 25, 2023, which complies with the requirement.

Diana Young: Went here twice to get signed off for "fix-it tickets". Very nice officers and quick service. Location was easy to find and there is easy parking.
Gale Tattersall: Culver City CHP are awesome.... I dealt with Officer Trejo, in the VIN verification department... after being completely misled and messed around by the DMV, Officer Trejo went out of his way to help me through the insane hurdles that are needed to register a Tiny House... the DMV were clueless... without Officer Trejo. I would still be beating my head against the wall!
Ray Flores: CHP Officer are people too and even do they are public servants they also encounter higher stress than most of us. West L.A. Station have great officers and due to training demands they can be highly strong but works to keep them professional and focus. Don't be discourage when one encounters and officer expressing though body and verbal language, we have no idea what's going on with them. Remember they are people too. CHP WEST L.A. top notch Officers.
