Alice Han: I asked for only soondae because I don’t eat the other things like liver and intestines, and the grandma kindly said sure! They gave me a whole bunch of soondae in my bowl, and honestly, the broth and the soup was one of the best I’ve had in a while. They add the perilla seeds too which boosts the flavor. The side dishes are very complementary as well. Definitely coming back because this soondae guk tasted like home.

Bean Caviar: Great food at a great price!

Brenda Kim: it is delicious. If you enjoy sundae, come and try it. Since it is a hooded court, no tip is required, and there is free parking and a market in the building, so it is a great place to shop for the food you need.

Daniel K: and it was everything I could've asked for. There aren't a lot of restaurants in Ktown that sell Army stew so whenever I find one, I always try it out. The broth was rich and spicy and it was loaded with veggies and meats. My friend got food from another food stand, but he was eyeing my food the entire time. If you've never tried Army stew, I would highly recommend trying out Seoul Soondae.

Salomon Kim: Cheap, filling, absolutely Rich and original.

Lailian Park: Everyone eats sundae soup and set meals, but the bulgogi was unexpectedly delicious! I like the strong scent of fire.

Chong Oak Koo: The best sundae restaurant in LA

jodie liang: It’s a lot like visiting a local store in KoreaThere are all Koreans insideKorean aunt is very kind

Jarred Brewster: I live near this gem, and I regret that I am just now trying it. My partner and I got the spicy goat soup and the sundae soup and both were stellar. Definitely on my shortlist if not my overall favorite Ktown Korean restaurant. The wait staff and the owners were extremely patient and accommodating to us, who had clearly little idea what we were ordering. Can't wait to go back.

Tim Tran-Van-Ti: It's quite hard to find good soondae in Europe so I'm always going for it whenever I get the occasion and I wasn't disappointed. The soondae there is great and the staff is really nice, it was so heartwarming. They also serve barley tea like you would get in some restaurants in Korea. I had the small soondae combo and it can easily feed two people.A truly authentic experience and the perfect spot for those who crave soondae. I'd definitely eat there again if I come back to LA!

Clare: The most delicious sundae in Migeuk ^^

Hee kweon Eun: Food: 5/5

Brian Hwang: For $24, you get a box of sundae and accessories...+ Pork soup, kimchi, and radish kimchi are a bonus. If you buy it, fry it, eat it, make soup, and eat it with tteokbokki, you can eat it for 3 days. I was craving market sundae after watching Tteokbok Queen on YouTube, but of course it was in LA! Oh, just keep in mind that if you move in April, it’s cash only!!

J J: The most delicious sundae I've had in LA and the price is cheap too.

Stella Chung: Best soondae guk in LA!!!!!!!!! 💕 walk in and it’ll feel like you’ve teleported to Korea!!!

이운정: I went to post about assorted sundae and sundae soup. It's a place that the adults in the house usually like, but it was my first time going there. The lady boss is very diligent and kind! It feels so good and fun to make eye contact and say hello. I thought the amount of assorted sundae would have been reduced by changing the type as I wanted, but they said that wasn't possible and I was grateful for the generous portion. I had a delicious meal at home! It’s clean and delicious without any fishy smell! I'll go again~

Steven Gwanhoo KIM: Hi, I am manager of Seoul Soondae. We will open 9/4 on Monday at the Labor Day.Thank you~!

Gemma Niederriter: tasted great without any fish smell. They said they dried them on their own.Server was very attentive to check if we would need any side dishes, like she was reading my mind. They had a very welcoming ambiance, Juhng in Korean, that they really want to feed customers well with the highest care they show, even to strangers. I appreciate feeling that welcome from Korean restaurants, but not all Korean restaurants offer that welcoming feeling.Their open time 7am also helped a lot, as waiting until 9am to have breakfast starves me.It's a small restaurant with 4-5 tables. The chef and server made it so nice and warm.I took my spouse here for their birthday and ate there several times during my last visit to LA. I will definitely want to go back here next time I would be around. Please stay strong and have this business for a long time.

Yilin Wong: Liked the pork soup better than the fish one, just personal taste. Great sausage and bean soup noodle

C Lee: Menu is in Korean so if you are willing to struggle with the menu and eat organ meats and blood sausage. This is your place. I had the blood sausage soup. The broth was rich and creamy from the bone marrow with a clean not animal like taste. Very comforting. The blood sausage was was clean tasting no animalness or mineral taste to it. It was actually mild. Less meaty like black pudding. If you are adventurous enough this is a superb and affordable meal.

J K: Hungry at 7AM with nothing substantial opening until 7:30AM, I found this hole in the wall. They have $10 breakfast meals, but I wanted some blood sausage and organ stew. Oh boy, was it freaking good. I don't know if it's the hole in the wall atmosphere of it all, the Korean menus, or the Korean authentic customer service, but the stew reminded me of this meal in S. Korea. Highly recommend this place while it's still quiet! They also serve other items but this place is primarily a soup and stew restaurant with limited seating, so keep that in mind.

NURZHAN KANG (Nurzhan Kang): Actually, there weren't many sundae soup restaurants open in the morning, so I went there and it was so, so, so, so good! First of all, the food was very delicious. The soup was thick and I loved it. It's been a long time since I had a good meal, so I wondered why, and the owner's words were very considerate. I felt that this was not a business tone, but that the owner's true personality was really great. When I came all the way to Phoenix, I said that I really liked the owner and that I wanted to learn how to treat people like that. I will definitely visit again next time!

Christine Kuark: The soondae is my favorite. Personally love the the clean taste. Doesn’t smell. Doesn’t have a weird taste like some places. I order other soups as well and it was pretty good. The ladies are so kind. The space is very small but perfect to a quick bite or take out. I love the authentic tradition the ladies from try to keep. True honest Korean ladies.

Abbaee Wang Soondae: what do users think?

tortoise Chanel: Overall it was okayIt is not the thick white soup we usually know,Because it contains dadaegi and ugeoji, it looks similar. It felt like gamjatang sundae soup or soup.If you think of white soup, I recommend leaving out the dadaegi and beef jerky. Also, the bulmakchang was Jinttobaegi. If you order this and some sundae soup, it’s really delicious.

Jun Park: It is delicious.I think the soondae I tried near LA is the closest to traditional Korean soondaeI am personally satisfied with the quality and quantity of the food.

KJ Chang: It tastes just like Korean-style delicious sundae soup with white soup mixed with perilla seeds and chives. Ripe radish radish is delicious. The sundae sold here, whether it's glutinous rice or Abai sundae, is delicious because it has a little bit of seasoning. However, although the portions here are large, the price is a bit more expensive than other places.

Min H Chang: Sundae is delicious. However, I am not sure about the service and hygiene. The sundae stew was delicious, but I think it tasted a little different from the sundae soup I was thinking of. Overall, I think eating sundae is good. I recommend Abai King Sundae.

David K: Tteokbokki sauce was just the right amount of spice with a great flavor on there.I ordered the one with cheese on top, and cheese added additional flavor that complemented the spiciness well.Tteok was tender and chewy, without being mushy. I've had tteokbokki from other places, but I really liked the texture of their tteok here.Price is a little higher than other places but I'd imagine it's the LA pricing, given the inflation, etc.I believe the owner greeted us when we walked in and he was very friendly. Will revisit

수J: This is Sinjeon Tteokbokki, which I found while traveling while thinking about spicy Tteokbokki. The pretty and friendly owner welcomed us in a cafe-like atmosphere.I ordered rose tteokbokki, rolled seaweed, fish cake soup, cheese kimbap, and sikhye. The moderately spicy tteokbokki was suitable for sharing with children, and the cheese gimbap was a little spicy, but it had the appeal of making me want to eat it again and again.Overall, I ate it deliciously.I am leaving a few words as it was a great memory with a great atmosphere and delicious food.

iris park: I was glad to hear this after my trip, and it tastes just like what you get in Korea!! The cheese gimbap was spicy, but I kept craving it, and the fries were freshly fried, crispy and hot, so they were very delicious. The sweet potato fries were so delicious that I told the owner that they fry the sweet potatoes themselves instead of freezing them~!! My daughter is addicted to rolling seaweed~~^^;; Haha, the sikhye is just as delicious as the one my mom made~While traveling, I kept eating hamburgers and overeating tteokbokki~ haha, if I live in LA, I'll be a regular ^^

Kevin Hai Lam: Food is a little pricy but it was really good. The tteokbokki is a little pricy but the flavors was really good. It was super soft and spicy. I will be coming back and I was able to try some Korean rice juice which is sweet and refreshing! The atmosphere is upper class and music choice was refreshing and club like.Fair warning to the future customers that are not used to spicy, this dish is a bit extra spicy due to the restaurant catering to the palate of the locals so it maybe more spicy than you think. Korean food almost always use their spicy pepper as a base for every dish so their spice tolerant might not be the same for you.

Ena B: Best spicy taste, plenty soft teokbokki pieces, sausage & cheese extras optional. Easy to reheat bc doesn’t harden in microwave like other places. Pic worthy spot inside. Easy to pick up in 10min via phone or online. Professional lady on spot. Personally visited 3x past 3 days- the best after discovering 30+ teokbokki shops in LA past 2yrs.

Brendon Kim: It is the most delicious tteokbokki restaurant in town.

엘에이후훗: I really like the cafe-like interior.I had cheese tteokbokki, rice balls, and sundae and it was delicious!!I'm not good at eating spicy food, so I ate the mildest flavor, but it was just deliciously spicy. There is a lot of soup, so you can eat it with rice balls and sundae. It was nice that the staff kindly explained the menu. Next time, I’m going to try rose tteokbokki.

Mano Lujan: and we looked at the menu on the wall. My daughter and I ordered some Black Sausage, Goat Stew and Bulgogi Stew. Everything came out quick enough and we started to eat. And Eat! AND Eat!! AND EAT!!!Everything tasted wonderful. I love the boldness of good Korean food. It's right up in your face. The assortment of kimchee was very good and my Goat Stew was Fantastic. My daughter didn't say much as she was eating non-stop. We were checked on but really left to just enjoy what was presented. This place is on my radar now and I am absolutely returning. As a small restaurant owner I appreciate mom and pop shops. As a chef, I very much appreciate handcrafted food. Do yourself a favor, support this place. Your palate will thank you.

Nayoung Oh: A family-run restaurant with a traditional Korean feel. I usually order take-out sundae from time to time, and the portion is generous and delicious!!! The interior doesn't smell at all and it's very clean!! The seasoning was a little too salty for my taste, but overall it was very delicious and this is a restaurant that comes to mind when the weather gets chilly. I recommend it!!!!

The variety of banchan is definitely house made and worth it alone for a visit!Parking: There is parking in the back! Definitely recommend it over parking anywhere else.
