Emily Reyes-Escandon: My experience at Upper Layers Skincare has been nothing but the best! I had first met Dr. Mendez when I was 13 and started struggling with acne. It was my first time meeting with a dermatologist and it my first getting a chemical peel. I just recently came back because I continued to struggle with acne as well as acne scarring. During the consultation, Dr. Mendez informed me that the best way to help fade away my acne scars and to help restore the skin was to do sessions of microdermabrasion and micro needling. Within these last few sessions, I’ve noticed a major improvement with my acne scars as well as with my skin and I’m so happy I had the chance to come back. Ashley Range: I went to visit Sabrina and the appointment was more than I could have ever imagined. Sabrina offered me insight into the products I was using before her and it helped me so much since I was not educated by my previous esthetician. I was given the hydra facial along with a few extractions. Let me tell you it was everything and I felt so comfortable closing my eyes and taking a little nap. I purchased products from her and I began using them and I am amazed by the looks of my skin. My skin is extremely sensitive but I can honestly say that after my facial with Sabrina I can already see change within my skin. I am looking forward to my next appointment with Sabrina!! Melissa Ayala: It is unfortunate that some people want to slander and be so negative towards this business only because you had a bad experience. As far as I can see with the last review, it seems to be some kind of miscommunication. On their website they clearly state that the Doctor is available Wednesdays by appointment ONLY. I have asked the owner what the reason was and she said because he comes from his Beverly Hills office and only comes if he has appointments. So clearly if you didn't call to make an appointment, and he didn't have any other appointments at Daisy's for that day, then there wasn't a reason for him to go.You say you had an ear tag removed... How does that look? did the doctor do a good job? I'm sure its not bothering you anymore or your not embarrassed of having it anymore right? Give reviews on that not only because there was bad communication.It bothers me to see this because this clinic is great. They truly do help people with their acne problems and its unfortunate they get a bad review at all. Anyone reading this, please go see for yourself and make your own opinion.
