G skii: Awesome skate shop! My son wanted to get his first board. We were about to buy one online but decided to check out this shop first since I like to support local businesses whenever I can. So glad we did! Jeff was awesome and answered all our questions. He helped us pick out the right components for my son and explained the different options. Then he built the board right there in front of us. You can tell he has done this 1000 times and it was perfect. My son was super stoked and is riding his new board non stop. It was cool to see how they put the board together and we learned a lot about the board and it鈥檚 use. And if that wasn鈥檛 enough, it was the same or better price as what it would鈥檝e cost us online. I鈥檒l never buy online as long as this shop is around. And they have some old school boards with clay wheels you can look at. It鈥檚 like a museum in there.
Gravity Gabriel: Ive been going here for over 15 years for replacement bearings on my LDP board and shoes and had nothing but a great experience. All the employees are super rad and helpful. They also have a collection of old school boards and bikes which creates an artful and nostalgic ambiance in the store. Support your local skate shop and stop buying cheap boards or parts from Amazon!

Dono PatRSon: Went to South Bay Skates to get my son a new deck. He鈥檚 still new to skateboarding. I used to skate back in the day but haven鈥檛 been to a shop in years. They hooked us up. Took time to show my son deck after deck. No rushing but instead made sure we saw everything. Then the grip tape which we took home and did ourselves. The owner agreed that鈥檚 half the fun. I recommend this place big time.

Brandon Lee: Met the owner Adrian and we talked for about 40 minutes about a skateboard mod that I wanted for him to build out for me. Actually it was totally his expertise and patience and gift set that came to life. He offered me great advice and we just had a solid moment to talk about life. I would recommend this shop to anyone who is looking for a local business to support and not only that but to get the best treatment and customer service. I鈥檒l definitely go back for all my skate merch and skate tune ups haha
