But this last week I had my Meridian hauled out for rudder repacking and bottom paint..Thomas not only delivered perfectly on the work AND schedule, he actually lowered my cost below his quote!     Vince Cirelli: I recently used this yard for some work that requires hard labor and care to do it right. I'm very picky, and I have to say they have assembled a very good team, one of the guys that did the lions share of the work is Named David, he is excellent. Their crew is helmed by a really nice and knowledgable fella named Thomas - and it's the best experience I've ever had at a yard. Their pricing was surprisingly very good too - no bait and switch which I've experienced elsewhere.

Yes, you pay MDR prices, but the folks are honest, they do the work in the time frame that they say, and it's been about four months of sailing, and the workmanship i can say was up to snuff. Everything is exactly like it should be.Work this trip was a new propshaft, ledger bearing, repair of some soft blisters, a new through-hull fitting, new bottom paint and a few other odds and ends. One thing that I really appreciated was that there was always an effort to not spend more than needed.
