LA Kings Ice: what do users think?

Alexander Hast: When it is not too crowded, it's a great place to skate. The in-house hockey league is great, and there are many offers to learn to skate. Love skating there.

Itza Vigneux: My kids love to come here!!

Matthew Rudshagen: Fun times here

LiYu Chen: Is fun and good price for kids spending time over here for two hours. 👍

Mike Ellingboe: Great rink for 3 on 3, or in particular for young kids just starting out, doesn't require them to navigate a 200 foot surface or play with barriers. Located inside an outdoor shopping mall, unique and fun experience

SNOWMAN Max: Very nice and well maintained. Only the deep pits in the ice need to be repaired.

Elise S: Friendly staff and reasonable price.

Brandon: This place has been here for decades and enjoyed by generation to the next.Staff here are always friendly and their rented equipment are in good condition.Come during the weekdays after lunch when it's slow if you want to learn or enjoy the open space.

Jorge Palacios: Nice, well maintained Ice rink. Prices are on the expensive side but is high quality gear - I’m speaking specifically about the kids equipment- it could use a hot food or hot drinks vendor…

Nickel and Dime skate shop: what do users think?

Francisco Juarez: Guy opened up after hours for me to shop and when I was there he explained in detail what I was buying and what he recommended

Jaime Viejo: Great little store in El Sereno. The place feels like a hangout stop, friendly atmosphere and great selection of skates. Their own merch is cool too. The owner will explain and let you try gear until you are 100% sure. These are the stores that we need to support!

Maria Guribe: Amazing customer service!!!! I came with the interest of getting my first inlines and the owner was quick to deliver with many options on brands and helpful knowledge. It's clear to tell that he's both experienced and passionate about the craft, and can lay down some wisdom without intimidating a beginner/aspirational. My first walk in felt very welcoming and I definitely don't want it to be my last. Even past rollerblades, there are all sorts of products, it's a store that's stocked with a variety of items, the store looks like eye-candy tbh, its worth checking out!

Raymond Marquez: This was a gem of a find in the Alhambra area. I was looking for a local skate shop and was so glad to find this place. Alan was friendly and super helpful. I wanted to get some Luminous wheels for my inline skates, and he hooked me up. It’s a small shop on the second floor of the building, but he’s got a lot of goodies in stock. Check it out if you’re in the SGV.Parking is on the street along the curb.

Hessam Afshari: Great shop. Sincere owner. Support this shop and people like this. He came back to the shop to open it for me. He was kind, excited, patient, and generous. I got to try on skates without pressure and plenty of experience & knowledge was shared with me regarding what I was looking for.

H M: I'm from Australia and this guy helped me build a custom Razor SL that I always wanted. His pricing was the cheapest out of everyone else and shipping was very quick! I would definitely buy for him again.

James nguyen: The shop owner really made me feel welcomed and I was looking around town for a specific skate and he was the only one that had it.

Emma Brown: this place is so great -- i came in with a few questions about my current setup and a potential second pair of skates and walked out happily with a pair of roces nils janson storms. alan was so friendly and helpful and let me try on 5 pairs of skates before i finally found the pair for me. i highly recommend trying on aggressive skates in person especially as a woman because the foot widths are radically different, even within the same brand.

Katelin Miller: Getting back into rollerblading but its been a hot minute. The owner was super chill and knew exactly what I needed. He knows his stuff but has a humble vibe. Highly recommend 👌

Yanori Ferguson: Beautiful selection of skates and about everything else you could ask for! Alan, a certified skating teacher, is a joy to talk to, and very informative as well. Highly recommend stopping by!

James Dorman IV: with Nickel and Dime Skate shop. I was looking for some Kaltik K Jr Skates and after looking around, saw that they had some in stock. Ordered them along with their black hoodie! Someone from the shop even texted me shortly after I placed the order to ask if I was ok with changing the color of the skates based on their inventory.

Daisuke Tsuji: I didn’t catch the owner’s name but he was cool/chill and very helpful. I would say this place is for intermediate/pro level skaters. He’s trying to get rid of some roller-skates for $50 so get them quick!

Andrew McDonald: Awesome place! Very informative and had great supply of skates. Seems to be the best place to go in LA

lauren johnson: .Alan is patient, kind, honest, and super personable. When I came with my blades to get looked at he didn’t mess around - told me exactly what to do.As long I’m in Southern California, I will take my blades to Alan!

Kevin J Dolan: I am completely brand new to skating and was looking for a local shop in LA so I can get advice and try on a couple different skates, and coming up completely dry within a 2-hour drive, until I found Nickle and Dime. Alan was super helpful and supporting and got me going in no time!

Andrew McDade: Nice place, nice people, with a variety aggressive inline skates.

deplorable Chicano: This was always a great place i used to play hockey here back in the the late 70's to the early 80's and this is where I first learned how to skate as well as the pic wic but and Laurel canyon even though Laurel canyon had a Mall Pic wic had the Park and horse trail but Pasadena had the sports complex and the ice was better to skate on and play hockey on so it was my preferable choice to go to

Anna Du (安娜): Wait time Up to 10 min

Davit Isahakyan: Great place to visit. I am not on any team but I can tell that this is a very professional and a well developed place for any pros out there. I went on the public skate this winter and I am impressed. Great place with kind staff who are willing to help. There are also these blue seals that you can purchase for twenty dollars which help you ride easier if you are a beginner. I also recommend you buy tickets in advance so you don’t risk not getting in. There aren’t unlimited tickets as I know.

Alan S.: lot as the bowling and other Pickwick places nearby. The public skates can be really crowded here, and they allow teenagers to push each other around on seals, which can sometimes get out of hand. The rink is huge

Oy: Nice place. Spacious

azalea !!: My FAVORITE ice skating rink by FAR!! Amazing coaches, pretty decent rental skates, the ice is almost always manageable. It does get a little crowded sometimes, but I would HIGHLY reccomend it for anyone who wants to ice skate, especially for the first time!
