Soundsations Records: what do users think?

Kathy Leivas: Picked up these little gems here right before seeing Queens of the Stone Age in concert last month.Never disappoint.

Kelvin Ng: I was staying at Hilton LAX Airport and decided to Google for vinyl record store nearby…Soundsations Record immediately popped out as nearest to me! Though a 30 minutes walk from Hilton, it was worth it if a vinyl records buying/collectors.. very good selection of LPs/vinyls on pop/rock/jazz, etc.. I ended buying 8 pieces of what I like and with good reasonable prices!

Sacha Goldsteen: Great selection, solid prices and a nice ambience. I don't like how I bought ex-military by Death Grips and it was a bootleg copy of the vinyl.

Walter Aguilera: Great selection of new and used records. If you’re into post-punk or new wave, you’ll love it here. There’s a surprisingly good hip-hop/r&b section too. Staff is super chill. Prices are the best out there. This is what every record store should look and feel like.

Wes: One of the best stores in LA and no hipster vibes here. Great used and new selection in all genres. Very reasonable prices and they pay fairly for collections. I have sold to them several times and never left unhappy. If you are looking for a new release that is not too far left field, they probably have it, or if not that, something else cool you might want.

Brando MacLure: Great record store with a selection of media from 8-track to CD

Evan Seki: . They have vinyls, cassettes, and CDs. Stop by there, it’s amazing.

Timmy Stabler: Great dollar bins, good pricing on other used records as well!

Rae Rae: but dont forget to check out new arrivals.. you never know what youre gonna find.. 🔎Lastly dont forget to keep a ear out while youre there… Dan is usually playing some heat 😮‍💨🔥🎶🎶

Francesco Peluso: I found two records I had been looking for for years! The owner helpful and friendly. Great store

Alex Martinez: Nice spot, 90% used records, fairly priced and interesting selection.

Kevin Ostrov: Always an adventure.

Justin Yu: and there’s a listening station to preview. Owner Danny and crew are super sweet, accommodating of diggers that spend several hours in the store and always ready with solid recommendations - don’t forget to browse the staff picks! Did i mention it’s dog friendly? I can’t think of any complaints at all, A++++ record store thanks guys :

Pablo Nukaya-Petralia: One of my favorite record spots in LA, period. Always a great selection, and I always know I can find at least one - but usually more! - great records to add to the collection.

Peter Lowe: Danny the owner rules! They pay fairly for records and always have something I want to pick up. Support your local record store it’s a gem.

Jen Ballera: Arroyo is hands down the best record store in LA. Unpretentious, unassuming, great selection, great prices, and everyone that works there rules. I could easily spend all day here looking through their finds! Arroyo forever

Jonny O'Hara: Such a great record shop. The prices are fair and competitive, the owner and staff are friendly and helpful and have recommended a few new favourites to me over the years and their second hand section always has new collections arriving. Couldn’t ask for a better local record shop.

deb frazin: and his staff are super friendly, and Danny always has THEE BEST punk rock records in stock

J. Arturo Guzmán: Arroyo Records is a great spot for buying and selling records. The bins are always filled with rare and hard to find gems, along with the latest releases. Definitely worth the visit.

Kiana Green: my favorite shop in the neighborhood, i never leave empty handed!

Brooks Hannon: Super great selection. New stuff put out every day. I’ve been put on to some great stuff via their staff picks. As far as selling/trading: I work at a store that gives 50% cash value, which is pretty great. I still always go to Danny because I’m styled-out every time and my gut tells me I won’t get a better payout anywhere else.

Ross Bull: Loved this place - packed full of analogue goodies and vintage gubbins.Mind boggling tape selection - didn't have time to get lost in it - and lots of good records. Jean Delaunay: Great little store and great selection

Record Safari: what do users think?

Jonny Bell: I think this is one of, if not the best record shop in LA. Always a great selection, lots of new arrivals to dig through, new and used records, super friendly pricing, and great vibes all around.

La.s own Dj lucky: Super kind staff and owner something fir every boddy!!! Dj.s collectors ....every genre is covered at this spot a must visit my cretons

Luis Navarrette: my favorite record store in socal.love Alex and the staff always treat me good.

carly banks: Such a fun record shop with a huge selection!! Found a number of records I didn’t know I needed, I’m so happy we stopped in!

Cole Howerton: The variety, new arrivals, easy going atmosphere, and friendly staff are what keep me coming back here again and again. If you’re reading this review from across town on the West Side or the South Bay, it’s worth the drive trust me.

Jens Knudsen: First, but definitely not last, visit. A very wide variety of used vinyl albums, most very reasonably priced, and still in good condition, all IMHO, of course.

Rex Parker: Best of the five record stores I recently visited in LA. Great selection, clean vinyl, affordably priced. And they have parking!

justin walder: One of the coolest record stores in California. They always have new records in, from cheap stuff to more pricier stuff. Not the best, but up there and definitely worth checking out often.

Cliff Duyn: Amazing selection and a listening station, What more do you need.

Cedrick Narsiso: Overall, this record store is a solid choice, but I have one suggestion for improvement. I urge the owners to consider organizing the 45's section either by artist or by decade, if possible. Currently, navigating through this section feels like wading through a sea of filler records, with the occasional gem buried within. If organizing by artist seems too daunting, perhaps creating a separate bin for "famous" or standout records could streamline the browsing experience.

David Katz: Omg I love this place!! The staff are so knowledgeable and helpful!! I’ve learned so much about music just browsing thru the crates there. A must visit for anyone who is a music fan!!!

Nina Savelle-Rocklin: Definitely my go-to record store and worth the drive if you're not in the area. Great selection, awesome vibe, and the staff really knows their stuff. Highly recommend!

Wyatt Heidenfelder: The best selection and prices in town!

Ale Z: + was the most stolen gift at the white elephant party

waleriax: Great place. The owner really knows his stuff. A lot of stuff you wouldn't find at other record stores. And they do shipping too. I can highly recommend this place

Lishi Huang: Always the most grounded and welcoming place. Their records are always amazing too, just be sure to come Saturday when they drop their new selection - the popular records usually go quick! Their taste is immaculate if you want to pick up some sage music advice from the two shop owners Stan and Ray. Usually the only two that hold down the shop. Stay for the conversation and vibes. Leave with new music and better headspace.

bella: decently priced and great selection

OtakuHolly: Very nice staff, a large selection of new and used vinyl, managed to find stuff i only wanted to buy in the wild and couldnt find except online so was a good reward for a long drive and taking a chance coming from Lancaster. Bought a couple white stripes, a EU import of morrissey & 5 used records which were all priced very affordably.

Teresa Lozoya: ♥️Sounds of Music♥️

80S ANTI: This shop is awesome. Really nice memorabilia. Down to earth employees. Not like other record shops, where the employees think they are just too cool.

Apollo Vincent: Mario. This place is so organized, it was easy to look through for specific artists n genres. Loved the Spanish section n even picked up a few Banda El Recodo cds & cassettes. Even found a 2007 warp tour set list. Honestly, I'm looking forward to coming back to add to my collection for my new whip. They also had car /music accessories, clothing, stickers, pins, de Todo. Super dope shop, would recommend comin in & checking it out if you're in the area or looking for a quality set up

A F: This record store is iconic. It was the original Silver Dollar where Mexican-American journalist Rubén Salazar was murdered by LA sherrifs. Today, it contains tons of Chicano records, shirts and memorabilia. The owner is very knowledgeable on all the local history because the business has been in the family for over 40 years. Check it out and get your Chicano Power fit and rolas. Don't forget to check out the mural across the street dedicated to Salazar and the Chicano Moratorium.

Jay Kush: Great store has a listing station to listen to music find the ones you live and gems you never heard grey people Mario was my super hero will be back

HISASHI OGUCHI: Nice record store with good findings. Staff were very friendly and helpful. One of them even helped me find records together in the racks 🙏 Easy to find street parking.
