4worldlovers: The Sinai Temple Sisterhood proudly supports the Women’s League for Conservative Judaism’s Annual Torah Fund campaign.

Torah Fund raises money for scholarships and programming for rabbis, cantors, educators, administrators, lay-leaders and other leaders of the Jewish community, as well as for research, at the five Conservative/Masorti rabbinical schools around the world: Ziegler School of Rabbinic Studies in Los Angeles, Jewish Theological Seminary in New York, Schechter Institute of Jewish Studies in Jerusalem, Seminario Rabinico Latino Americano in Buenos Aires, and Zacharias Frankel College in Potsdam, Germany.

The 2023 Gala held Sunday, June 4, was an absolute smashing success! The evening was nothing short of extraordinary, leaving a lasting impression on all who attended. From the moment guests arrived, they were greeted with an aura of elegance and enchantment. The venue was adorned with exquisite decorations, creating a magical ambiance that set the tone for an unforgettable night. The combined efforts of our dedicated team, tireless volunteers, and generous sponsors ensured that every detail was meticulously attended to, leaving no stone unturned.

The gala program included esteemed guest speakers delivering thought-provoking remarks in honor of Senior Max Rabbi David Wolpe and Howard Lesner, speeches from Howard Lesner and Rabbi Wolpe, with some humor and live music as well. Moreover, the success of the gala can be largely attributed to the overwhelming support we received from the community. The attendance surpassed all expectations, with over 700 guests!

We would like to extend our deepest appreciation to every member, and staff, involved in making this gala a resounding success. Your commitment and passion continue to inspire us and drive us towards achieving even greater heights.
