It was deep conditioned without ruining the patina. Also replaced the brass clasps and fixed loose threads. Raffi is an old school craftsman with high quality of standard for his own work and that definitely showed in our interactions. I appreciated his work!

I didn't have much time but I called Langers and texted John photos of my suitcase wheel so they could check if they had the wheel in stock. They did and we set up an appointment for the next day.
