Baldwin Hills Scenic Overlook Hike Trailhead: what do users think?

LC 444: This is an okay-ish trailhead which leads to the Culver City Stairs and the Baldwin Hills lookout. But don’t park on the side of Jefferson Ave near Ballona Creek, there is lots of trash and a homeless encampment there.Recommended activities Hiking, Running, Biking, Dog Walking, Birdwatching, Walking …

Mark Anthony Floirendo: Recommended activities Hiking, Running, Biking, Dog Walking, Birdwatching, Walking

Aries F: Great trail. Good view in the beginning but when you start walking there’s no real view of anything.Fees: No fees.Dog-friendliness: Lots of people walking their dogs.

Jennifer Falk: A short, graveled trail with some concrete spots that’s easy to get to and easy to walk. Many people walk their dogs here, but I enjoy running it.Recommended activities Hiking, Running, Dog Walking …

HD86: The trail is full of unleashed dogs, even though there are signs against that. It is not a big issue but people who are uncomfortable around dogs need to know that. The trail is mostly unpaved. There are so many warning signs along the trail saying that the trail is private property and under 24 hour video surveillance, no trespassing, etc. The first time I was there I was worried I was going to be arrested.

Kumendo Kiun: Nice path for jogging or a walk. If you start in the east, you first have to walk up the small hill. From then on there are hardly any differences in height. But you have a good view, provided you are of sufficient height.Recommended activities Running, Walking …

Mary Anne Miller: Flat and gentle “trail” with some paved sections. But full sun exposure so bring a hat. May 2023 photos lots of wildflowers still blooming! 🌼🌾 ☘️🌿Recommended activities Birdwatching, Walking …

elgin Mac: Nice quiet trail

David Beebe: Beautiful views with all the recent rains.

Paul Mittermiller: This is a beautiful trail. Most of the trail is paved with concrete, but there are some first spots. It is dog friendly and moderately trafficked with people and pets. The trail is slightly elevated, so you can see the surrounding town and up the bluff.

Doerte Sennecke-Chow: It’s popular with runners and of leash dogs

Chris Dodge: nice and easy trail

Trisha Singhal: Cool

Yü Wu: This two mile dirt trail is mostly flat with a little slope at both ends. It has modest foot traffic, mostly runners and dog walkers. However there aren't any amenities along the trail not even a bench. There are a few parks down the slope but there is no access to the bottom in the middle of the trail. The views are open but I wouldn't say it's a scenic trail because all you can see a bluff on one side with houses on top and endless rows of low rise condo buildings on the other side.

Sonia Ode Lucci: The best Dog Park in town.

Juan Ramirez: Walk for a while relaxing

Eddie Urenda: my neighborhood running in walking path that surrounds Wiseburn! Love it love and the landscaping it provides in serene walks through our community. Come along for a walk!

Gabriel Gutierrez: Perfect

Irma Rosales: Cozy quiet walking path for fur babies and whole family. 😍

Martha Baquero: Love this small trail 💖

Joe Watterson: Nice path with workout stations.

Lucas Johnson: It's great place

Scott Sorensen: Great neighborhood walk eastside of the 405. It's newish and plants/trees have died or disappeared in the night - as have solor path lights - but it's in better shape than the park/path on the westside of the frwy path sorely needed repairs lots of damaged lighting out there

David Salazar: Nice path along a strip of land between the street and the 405 freeway. Freeway walls keep it quiet. There are exercise equipment and doggie bag dispensers along the way. It's well lit at night.
